13/02/2026: I came because of the many positive reviews, so I had high expectations. The service was pleasant, no complaints there. The foie gras appetizer was truly excellent—perfectly cooked and seasoned. However, the rest of the meal was a huge disappointment: the morel fondue was really nothing special, nothing memorable. The bread was too fresh and crumbled in the fondue, the flavor wasn't pronounced enough, and the morels had a mushy texture (perhaps they were dehydrated?). I finished with a chocolate mousse advertised as THE chocolate mousse, but personally, I found it very average. In short: apart from the foie gras, the rest of the meal was quite ordinary. A shame, because with such positive reviews, I expected much better.

17/03/2026: In my opinion, this is the best dining experience in Serre Chevalier/Briançon. The service was incredibly accommodating from start to finish, and the level of culinary mastery in each dish was clear, beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. What truly stood out was the chef personally coming out to help accommodate a meal for a child, which made the experience feel especially warm and personal. An exceptional meal and an unforgettable evening. Will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a gastronomical experience at its finest.

12/03/2026: We had an excellent dinner at Au plaisir ambre. The food was exciting and perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and efficient and the dining room elegant. Superb value for money. If you plan to dine out in Briancon, you should definitely visit Au plaisir ambre.

29/11/2025: We go there regularly on Saturday lunchtimes when we're in Rennes. Never disappointed. The open-faced sandwiches and soups are very good. The welcome, decor, and atmosphere are always perfect. Craft beers and cider on tap. Very fast service.

18/09/2025: Bakery/café with some variety in its products. I didn't like the coffee with milk (from an electronic machine). The pastries were good. They have enough types of bread. The prices are reasonable. The service was decent. The place is small.

20/03/2026: We arrived today at 1:10 PM, not even a greeting. We asked if it was possible to order a table for two, and the response was, "Yes, but you'll have to be quick, I have to leave by 2:30 PM." In that case, I think it's possible to phrase it differently: we come to a restaurant to have a good time, not to be subjected to anything unpleasant. The waitress was not at all friendly, which is a shame because the setting is lovely and we usually go there occasionally in the summer.

10/03/2026: Tonight, we came to celebrate a birthday. I had reserved a table for two. We wanted to sit at a specific spot, but we were told it was closed. However, as we were leaving, we saw that the place was actually open. We asked an employee, and he confirmed that it was indeed open. I am very disappointed by this situation. It's unprofessional. The website allows reservations, and everyone can see that, but the information on-site was different. I do not recommend this place. 😤😤😤

10/01/2026: I'm only leaving a review for the restaurant. We had dinner at "Les Trois Sapins" on Saturday evening. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was also very good: the waitresses were friendly and attentive. Personally, I'm vegetarian, and the menu doesn't have many vegetarian options. However, I highly recommend the rather unusual "sauerkraut samosa." Well, it's excellent! It's a combination I found very successful: kudos to the chef, who is very creative.

09/12/2025: I'm only leaving a review for the restaurant. It's always a pleasure to dine at this establishment. The service is young and friendly. The location is ideal, with parking nearby. (I can't comment on the rooms as I've never stayed in them), but I imagine they're similar. Overall, a lovely establishment.
