11/03/2026: It was recommended to us by a friend who had been here to eat raw fish. We went for dinner but didn't order the raw fish, which is a shame. We were a little disappointed; my octopus wasn't good...it was rubbery and over-seasoned. The beef tartare was average. The staff was very nice and friendly, but it's a shame about the food.

07/03/2026: Very unfriendly place. Was forced into a table I didn’t want despite the place being almost empty. I was with my 12 year old daughter and it was basically a bad thing since she’s not drinking. Very rude waiter. Food was ok but the service was really bad.

03/02/2026: We were invited for a birthday celebration. A table of 12, I think. I'm not from the area, so this was my first time at the restaurant. The food was good overall, but there were a few things to note. We had barely sat down when we had to choose our aperitifs. One person was missing, so we started without them since the service was rushed. Our aperitifs were served, and two minutes later, a creamy soup arrived (excellent), but we had barely started our aperitifs when the missing person hadn't arrived. The staff could have anticipated this and waited for them to arrive before serving. Our starter was tarte flambée, which was good, but nothing special. We barely had time to step outside for a cigarette before the main courses were being served. The main courses were also served too quickly. We barely had time to finish what we had before we had to move on to the next course… And unfortunately, what I really disliked was that the courses weren't announced beforehand. The menu had been pre-ordered by our hosts, but at no point did the waitresses bother to explain what we were eating. For example, the soup—I couldn't tell you what vegetables were in it. The main course: we had to guess what the purée was made of because it wasn't potato—maybe parsnip or celery? Luckily, I didn't have an allergic reaction. The dessert was a vacherin, and we had to guess the flavor. I'm mentioning this because if someone has an allergy or something, we don't have all the information. It's basic customer service to tell the customer what's on their menu. Overall, I'm only moderately satisfied despite the good food!

25/11/2025: The chef was extremely unpleasant to children, even when they were well-behaved. This was the first and last time I will ever return to this restaurant. I had a good impression of the restaurant before, but this gentleman's attitude has completely disgusted me now when I walk past it. I will absolutely not recommend your restaurant, which employs someone who is mean to children and has no understanding of customer service or courtesy.

28/10/2025: We were delighted by the quality of the dishes and dessert, but especially by the chef's warm welcome! He was incredibly friendly and welcoming! His expertise was immediately evident in the dishes: a delicious chicken ballotine stuffed with mushroom duxelles and an apple clafoutis that was a true delight. A wonderful discovery… a restaurant we highly recommend! 🍽✨

09/12/2025: Hello, I'm a truck driver. I arrived at lunchtime to find an empty parking lot. Someone approached me and told me I had to park on the other side in another lot so I wouldn't be blocked in with the cars and vans. So, I'm telling you, if you don't want truck drivers in your restaurant at lunchtime anymore, that's fine. Don't neglect them. I wasn't happy about having to park in the other lot, so I left. You're not getting my money, sorry, I don't agree. 😡 Good luck with everything.

22/02/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. We opted for the €21 set menu: a buffet of starters and desserts with a good selection of homemade items, as well as a main course including a drink such as wine, beer, or soda, and a coffee. We will definitely be back.

21/01/2026: A very good experience at Bistrot Nova in Rouen. The atmosphere and setting are particularly pleasant. The dishes are absolutely delicious, refined, and carefully crafted to delight the palate. An address I recommend without hesitation.

21/02/2026: It's always a pleasure for me to return to the Auberge Sundgovienne: a beautiful hotel and restaurant expertly run by the Hermann family. The restaurant's dining room is cozy and chic, and the staff is incredibly attentive. I had a wonderful meal, as usual. If I had one suggestion, it would be that the €23 set menu be more elaborate; it's sometimes a little too simplistic considering the overall quality of the establishment and the rest of the menu.
