11/09/2026: Please To avoid misunderstandings and other issues, write the jam session rules on a chalkboard: No touching the mixing console No more than 90 dB No more than a certain number of musicians, etc. Make sure to place high-volume acoustic instruments (like saxophones) in strategic locations. Bonus tip: Put tape over sensitive lines on the mixing console (like drums). Six months ago, we came to set up, plug in, adjust the settings on the piano base, and play. It went well, it was cool. We also played there for Fête de la Musique 2025, a great time. We came back yesterday, Thursday the 10th, and the atmosphere was very different. In short, 5 stars for the owner, the potential, the memories, and the hope for a better future.

18/08/2026: Not the special occasion I had hoped for. We paid a lot of money to eat here for our last night and it was ruined by the staff rushing us. We booked the 21.30 sitting and arrived 10 mins early, and were being repeatedly asked if we had finished by 22:40, while still having food and wine on the table. In the end, if staff aren’t going to make the experience pleasant, you’re better going to get a pizza round the corner. Edit: The owner seems to be accusing me of unpleasant behaviour. Don't believe it! I asked for the music to be changed when they put house music on and started cleaning up around us! That hardly makes it feel like a special occasion does it?!

17/08/2026: A local restaurant, popular with locals, with a friendly atmosphere. Generous portions of charcoal-grilled meats. Our ribeye steak was a little tough, and the potato gratin was delicious.

26/05/2026: We stayed in this charming hotel in a very clean and comfortable room, which also boasted a splendid view of the Loire River. Dinner at the restaurant was perfect! The menu showcased local and organic produce, a true expression of the Loire Valley's terroir. The dishes were beautiful and, above all, delicious, with an incredible balance of flavors. To complement them, the wine list was also very local, featuring vibrant wines that perfectly reflected the chef's cuisine. A fully realized and consistent identity. A big thank you to Vanessa and Hendrik for their warm welcome!

The evening was a resounding success, exceeding all my expectations. The staff were accommodating, lovely, efficient, and always smiling. The service was top-notch. The dinner was excellent, featuring high-quality ingredients (gazpacho, hake Spanish style, and Baked Alaska). The venue is very pleasant, with a large terrace offering mountain views for aperitifs, and the indoor dining area includes a spacious dance floor. Well done, Le Spot!

The waiters/waitresses in their aprons and skirts were very elegant… Well done! The meal itself was perfect… We especially loved the dessert, which was exceptional. A wonderful experience. Congratulations to the chefs and all the staff who contribute to the establishment's renown… I highly recommend it.
