18/11/2025: Superb performance by Jim Kahr, an exceptional bluesman! I can't say the same for the abominable food served that evening. A disaster sold at exorbitant prices. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, I can't believe a real chef served us this horrible concoction, but the prices were exorbitant, and the owner waited for you and forced you to pay before the end of the evening. I've never seen anything like it! Avoid at all costs, and never mind the music!

10/10/2025: Excellent lunch! The dishes are tasty and plentiful. The service was great, the team is really friendly and attentive. Plus, we were lucky enough to be on the terrace with a superb view of the Eiffel Tower! A great discovery right in the Champs Elysées

07/09/2025: We had lunch at the edge of the woods a week ago. We really enjoyed the setting. We had a table inside, which was obviously a few years old but was well-maintained and in very good condition. The room was opulent and quiet. We had a beautiful view of the terrace, which was very green and beautiful. On the other hand, the food was disappointing, especially considering the price. The appetizers were pleasant, but the rest was not up to par. The main course was sea bass with beurre blanc sauce, served as they would have been 20 or 30 years ago. The dessert consisted of figs that had absolutely no flavor. Really none, which is surprising at this time of year when these fruits are at their peak. The service was unfriendly, unreceptive, and gave the impression of working under pressure, without pleasure. We reflected that this beautiful setting deserved a refresh of the culinary offerings.

12/12/2025: Bistrot des Lavandaires is a charming spot in the heart of Colmar. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy interior that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the moment. Service is the real highlight: attentive, friendly, and genuinely professional, without ever feeling intrusive. The food was good and well prepared, enjoyable and consistent with the bistrot style. Overall, a very pleasant experience, especially thanks to the excellent service and the lovely setting.

11/12/2025: Avoid at all costs! We received a terrible welcome, the waitresses were incredibly unpleasant and unprofessional, not to mention the minimalist dishes that arrived cold at the table, tasteless and uninteresting. Paying 35 euros for this kind of menu is inconceivable!

The cuisine is refined, full of flavors, and the welcome was warm from start to finish. A beautiful place that I highly recommend!

20/01/2026: The setting is very warm and pleasant; we felt very comfortable there. The waitress who served us upstairs was just as pleasant and very efficient! However, the pastries, while good, were much too sweet and therefore a bit too heavy. The hot chocolate was good, but the orange added just on top of the whipped cream was, for me, too cloying. A different way of combining chocolate and orange could have been more interesting. My friend had the white chocolate hot chocolate, which was good, but there was too much of it for such a sweet drink, so we didn't finish our entire afternoon tea, which felt like a waste of money. Less sugar, smaller portions, or a lower price would have made it much better. Having not tried the rest of the menu and being curious, I will still come back to try some savory dishes, or perhaps some cake or cookies with a cup of tea. 🙂 Thank you for the service. The experience was still very pleasant 🧐

10/01/2026: We were very disappointed with our lunch today: the focus on maximum profit was evident, resulting in very poor seating at a tiny table crammed together with others. The service was extremely slow. It was far too expensive for what was on the plate: €26 for a minuscule slice of puff pastry with a bit of salad and a slice of lemon tart with a soggy crust… it tasted like a pre-made tart base. In short, it's just a pretty view. In my opinion, its reputation is overrated.

09/12/2025: An ideal place to enjoy refined galettes and crêpes, from the simplest to the most elaborate. You can go there without hesitation; you won't be disappointed. Other menus are also available.

08/12/2025: The setting was lovely, but the salmon galette was disappointing… folded in four with nothing inside, burnt on both sides. The charcuterie board cost €14 and the products were bland… I was served lemonade when I ordered iced tea…

17/11/2025: Advantages: Easy parking thanks to the adjacent lot. Spacious and pleasant dining room. Fast and efficient service. Aesthetically pleasing and quite tasty dishes. Disadvantages: Only set lunch menu. Light side dishes. Atmosphere and service borderline unfriendly. Passing through, I'll give it another try because it could be perfect with a couple of tweaks. I often give a second chance. But please, a smile! It makes you forget so many things.

28/09/2024: This isn't the first restaurant we've done with my husband. But it is by far the best of cauterets! Certainly not very big but really not disappointed. The boss can be proud. We ordered homemade sangria, then a nice little raclette. What to say? Just exquisite!!! All products are quality. The cheese (I'm a fan) .....killer! We enjoyed ourselves. Regarding the staff, they are welcoming and attentive. They came to see us several times to see if everything was okay. This is the first time I see such friendly staff with these customers. I recommend +++++! Thank you.
