29/03/2026: A very warm welcome. The staff were friendly and welcoming. An excellent meal. I have rarely eaten such a delicious ribeye steak.

23/04/2026: I was thrilled by the reopening of Quai17 after its recent closure for unforeseen renovations. We missed you! As always, the meal was excellent. The chef offers original and flavorful appetizers. Who would have thought you could create a delicious sauce made with toasted bread and cream, drizzled over asparagus and topped with grated hard-boiled egg? Every dish is a true delight, and with a menu that changes weekly, there's no reason not to return regularly. Sophie, the co-owner, is a warm and competent person who makes every visit memorable. Be sure to book in advance; the restaurant is very popular, and rightly so!

Everything was magnificent, perfect, filled with beauty and emotion… Masterfully orchestrated by an incredible team. Kindness, attentiveness, and availability perfectly sum up the entire staff of the bastide and its owners. A perfect wedding!! We were guided from beginning to end, and I must say, that was truly appreciated! And what can I say about Lorelei and her sublime floral creations! The venue is magnificent, the food was perfect, and our guests were also swept away by the magic of our wedding. 14/03/2026: My first time at this restaurant tonight. The buffet idea for the starters and cheese for dessert was superb. With only three dishes on the menu, you're guaranteed a completely homemade, original meal made with local ingredients. What a delight... and such a warm welcome, thank you so much! 😍 (I usually take great photos of the presentation, but I might have been too impatient to try everything!)

12/02/2026: Always a perfect experience... A warm and relaxed atmosphere, a consistently pleasant welcome, and the food is simply divine... very affordable meals, which is a real plus!! A very varied and excellent menu. Simplicity and efficiency, thanks to the fantastic work of the managers... I highly recommend it!!! It's quickly becoming my go-to spot, a real gem in the area 🤩😍

17/05/2026: Absolutely awful experience. We ordered the French onion soup and it arrived in a huge pot that was barely 1/4 full. That should have been the first warning sign. After our entrees, we sat there for OVER AN HOUR waiting for our main courses while our waiter completely ignored us. He spent all his time with other tables while we were left sitting there wondering where our food was. As two small girls, it honestly felt like we were easy to dismiss and not worth paying attention to. We felt completely disrespected. The worst part was when the waiter finally came back to our table, he asked if we wanted dessert or coffee — completely forgetting that our main meals had NEVER EVEN ARRIVED. When we went to pay, they were still ready to charge us for the mains we never received. No apology, no accountability, nothing. That level of incompetence is unbelievable. We also noticed a couple seated next to us leave because it took so long just to get menus. Clearly we were not the only people having a horrible experience. I genuinely do not understand how this place has such a high rating. One of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. So many better places in Bordeaux with excellent food and service. Do not recommend.

17/05/2026: Very good food! Would recommend! Confit du Canard and bouef bourguignon were our favourites - super tasty and tender. Onion soup was good, but nothing special, mostly considering the price. Overall would recommend and come back!

02/12/2025: A very nice establishment, excellent value for money, superb food and service. Four stars for food, service, and atmosphere because it's always possible to find better... Five stars overall, and it's well deserved. This is a place where you feel comfortable, with truly excellent cuisine. It's not fine dining, but it's very good, generous portions, and, again, excellent in every respect. Keep up the good work, and you'll continue to bring smiles to food lovers. Great place.
