06/05/2026: We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Auberge de la Forêt, and everything was perfect. From the very beginning of the event planning, which included nearly 40 guests, we were impressed by the professionalism and kindness of our hostess, who was able to accommodate all our requests. On the day itself, aperitifs were served outside on a beautiful shaded terrace, and the meal that followed took place in a magnificent private room, reserved especially for us, with tables set with exquisite elegance. The carefully selected menu, served by smiling and welcoming staff, delighted all our guests. Thank you for helping us make this anniversary such a memorable event for everyone who attended.

05/08/2026: The staff is welcoming. You can eat in complete privacy as the tables are quite spaced out. We mainly come for the cassoulet, which is delicious and immediately evokes a sense of generosity when served in its casserole dish. The owner is very kind and welcoming. It's good Lauragais cuisine. We highly recommend this restaurant.

11/07/2026: The atmosphere, the owner, and the waiters were all incredibly friendly and unpretentious, just the way we like it. The ribeye steak with morels was delicious and very tasty. We'll definitely be back during our stay.

30/07/2026: The tasting menu was such fun, but unfortunately there were no wine pairings and it was hard to chose if you didn’t know what you were eating. Staff was very helpful after I didn’t like a wine. They replaced it and life was fabulous!

27/07/2026: A lackluster lunch. The food was decent but unremarkable, and the service was average. Clearly not up to Bib Gourmand standards. The Michelin Guide inspector should come back for another look.

Without air conditioning or a fan, the room was 32 degrees Celsius (I could see the thermometer). Something needs to be done about this because the meal became unbearable.

13/06/2026: The staff are smiling and extremely friendly. We had lunch there; it was very good. The kidneys were excellent, and regarding the children's menu, the nuggets are homemade, which is worth mentioning.

18/07/2026: Honestly, everything was good. Including the recommended bone marrow. Since I'm used to tiny portions of fries, there was no need to ask for them with every dish, because we're in the north, and they're not stingy with fries at all. We arrived quite early, so we were served rather quickly. This gave us enough time to do some shopping at the outlet across the street.

17/08/2026: We dined at Le 17 Restaurant during our vacation to celebrate our daughter's birthday; the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. I had asked for a cake to celebrate our daughter's eleventh birthday: not only did the restaurant organize it, but it also offered it for free! The dishes were excellent and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for an excellent dinner in Mulhouse, at prices that reflect the high quality of the cuisine. If we come back to Mulhouse, we will definitely stay here again. Everything was perfect from start to finish: - The owners were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and peacefully, which was much appreciated. And all with a smile! - We discussed the menu choices beforehand, and Steve made excellent suggestions, adapting to everyone's tastes. - The meal was delicious! Everyone enjoyed the high-quality, homemade cuisine. - The setting is charming, and the decor is lovely. In short, we wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, and thank you again to Steve and Patrice.
