01/09/2026: Le Petit Sabayon — Morangis 91 Having visited several times about two years ago, I was looking forward to returning to Le Petit Sabayon, curious to discover a new menu and a refreshed decor. How disappointed I was… The dining room is pleasant enough, certainly, but it lacks that extra something that makes a place truly special. The setting, while agreeable, fails to create the intimate atmosphere one might expect from a bistronomic establishment. As for the food, the verdict is unfortunately less enthusiastic. The prices, relatively high for this type of restaurant, call for more refined dishes: more depth, more creativity, more contrast, and above all, more personality. The flavors seemed to lack depth, sometimes too bland, where I would have appreciated more tension and character. The portions, too, seemed particularly small considering the bill. Because these days, simply serving a dish in pretty containers isn't enough: the taste must also live up to the presentation. Added to this was the air conditioning, which wasn't working, making the experience somewhat uncomfortable, and the dining room was unfortunately too noisy to offer the hushed atmosphere I so appreciate. Finally, the €14 glass of red wine seemed particularly excessive. These remarks were made openly to the owner. I must nevertheless commend her courtesy: without me even asking, she spontaneously agreed to adjust the bill. A gesture of goodwill that I sincerely appreciated and will remember, allowing me to end this experience on a more palatable note. 27/08/2026: We went there for our wedding anniversary. A great place. Everything was perfect: refined cuisine but generous portions, truly impeccable service, lovely setting – nothing was left to chance.

15/09/2026: We had a very good meal there, and the welcome/service was quick and pleasant. The only downside was that it was quite noisy because the busy road runs alongside the terrace.

13/09/2026: I was so lucky to find it after searching and searching online. It didn't specify gluten-free options, but we went in and after speaking with the waitress, who was incredibly friendly, she confirmed that they did and gave me an allergen menu. Obviously, they don't have bread, but we ordered a very interesting cheese salad and a ribeye steak with potatoes. Unfortunately, we couldn't get hamburgers since they didn't have bread... but my friend who ordered one said it was amazing. The place is super cozy. It's not cheap, but it's worth it.

10/10/2026: We really enjoyed our lunch at this restaurant. Everything was perfectly delicious and our waitress V was very helpful and friendly. Recommended to anyone visiting Paris. And we will definitely be back.

25/07/2026: I highly recommend this inn! A very welcoming inn with attentive staff. We went there for a family reunion because it was perfect for large groups. The food was delicious and plentiful. The hay-cooked ham was incredible. The setting is very pleasant and peaceful. There's a large playground next to the inn where children can play safely.

24/07/2026: We chose the Auberge Campagnarde Ailloud, a local venue whose owners we already knew very well. What a joy to be able to celebrate our wedding in a place so dear to our hearts, in the heart of the village where the bride grew up. Just a stone's throw from the village center, yet nestled amidst greenery and traditional buildings, the inn offers an absolutely magnificent setting. The natural charm of the place is almost self-sufficient and ultimately requires very little decoration. The large tables with their wooden tops create a real "wow" effect on their own, enhanced by a few carefully chosen decorative touches. We had access to the venue from Friday morning to set up our secular ceremony, and then inside the inn as soon as service was over. This allowed us to calmly prepare for our wedding, without any stress, and even to enjoy dinner on the terrace with our wedding party and close families the night before the big day. Catherine guided us throughout the entire setup process, offering invaluable advice and allowing us to arrange the spaces exactly as we envisioned. This allowed us to comfortably accommodate our 130 guests for the cocktail reception and 75 for the meal. We held our secular ceremony in the meadow adjacent to the inn. The space was more than adequate for all our guests while still providing a dedicated area for refreshments during our couple's photo session. We had also planned for gazebos as a backup in case of bad weather, but thankfully, they weren't needed! The inn's parking lot, along with another just a few dozen meters away, made parking incredibly easy for all our guests. The cocktail reception then took place on the inn's terrace, shaded by trees and surrounded by lush greenery. The setting was absolutely stunning and was a hit with all our guests. The group photos were taken in front of the magnificent flowerbed near the terrace, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the cocktail hour. All the activities we had planned took place, including the ribbon game with the groom's bottle. As night fell, we lit the garlands and lanterns we had added to the bistro lights already set up by the Bazin family. The atmosphere was magical. We served the cake and champagne outdoors before being dazzled by the fireworks display that our loved ones had arranged as a surprise. The evening continued on a dance floor that was packed all night long. Our guests danced until after 5:00 a.m. in an incredible atmosphere. A huge thank you to Catherine and the Bazin family for their availability, kindness, and trust. We couldn't have dreamed of a more beautiful place to celebrate our wedding.

04/09/2026: We were very disappointed with our visit. We arrived on a Friday evening around 9:40 PM, even though the restaurant is advertised as being open until 11:00 PM. Unfortunately, once we arrived, we were told that they had stopped serving and we were not seated. We find this really unfortunate, especially since the hours indicate closing time is 11:00 PM. If the last order is indeed before that time, it would be better to clearly indicate this to avoid customers making a wasted trip. We were very disappointed with this experience. Under these circumstances, we can unfortunately only give one star.

21/09/2026: First time since taking over this iconic restaurant, where we celebrated our wedding 28 years ago to the day. The decor and furnishings are quite understated. The welcome was warm, if a little reserved. The dishes offered were traditional and excellent. It was a pleasure to meet the chef, who came to greet us. Now, they just need to make it a success with an atmosphere, an experience, and a touch of originality that would make us want to return.
