Restaurant with local specialties and drinks, very nice dining room, excellent service from young Gabin, who also knows the products he serves and the local environment perfectly.
19/06/2026: We are a botany association. We stayed at La Baita du Loup for four days for a workshop. There were 15 of us. We will cherish very fond memories of our stay. We received a very warm welcome. The food was excellent and the rooms were superb. Thank you again, and we hope for a successful summer season. Pascale Gauchon.

26/04/2026: A group of 23 people (motorcyclists) stayed for two nights, half-board. The entire group appreciated the warm welcome from Ms. Robert and her team, the quality of service, the hotel's amenities, and the beautiful surroundings... Thank you.
The food is a highlight, even with the half-board option! And what a pleasure it was to have a drink in the lounge or on the garden terrace... Excellent value for money... and a secure garage for the motorcycles... We just want to come back.

A pleasant, traditional establishment in its decor, with Naples fabrics and always fresh bread.
The cuisine is quite modern, using quality ingredients and, above all, plenty of freshness… the dishes are presented with great care.
The service is always friendly and discreet. A truly wonderful place that deserves to be better known.

31/05/2026: We spent a night there on May 21st while hiking the Stevenson Trail. The welcome was very pleasant. The setting is magnificent with its small garden; a very welcome haven of peace after a hike. The cuisine is refined and delicious; the service attentive. The room was spacious with its small balcony; the bedding perfect.
A must-visit if you're in the area 😊

Everything was perfect: the welcome, the rooms, the breakfasts with homemade jams and gingerbread, and the excellent evening meals!

We enjoyed the monkfish with roasted vegetables, as well as the affogato and rice pudding for dessert—everything was incredible.
The staff's kindness was also noteworthy.

The manager is incredibly kind and always knows how to cater to our needs. He also strikes the perfect balance between discretion and attentiveness; we can enjoy a private moment together, knowing he's always there and available.
Whether it's the wine or the food, we're always delighted.
Whenever I come to Nevers, I'm always happy to return to this little bar. If I could, I'd give it a 20/20! 😄
