07/11/2024: Un nom ronflant « Normandin entouré de ses petites pommes de terre et de haricots beurre »… en gros dans l’assiette, une boule de chair à saucisse avec une poignée d’haricots beurre en boîte, plein de fils… bref pas bon du tout. Et c’est même honteux de servir une chose pareille!

08/09/2024: Lovely cafe in the middle of Vouvant. Friendly staff and excellent food. We had chicken teriyaki and came back a second day for brunch which was equally as good. Thanks Tori

31/08/2024: A very pleasant restaurant with a paved courtyard in the shade of a tree. Don't hesitate to have your meal in this charming atmosphere where you will be warmly welcomed by the managers. The salads are well stocked and good, as is the burger, all for honest value for money.

29/11/2025: The service was extremely poor. The waitress made a mistake with our order when we pointed it out... She rudely snapped, "I noticed my mistake, but usually she leaves nicely..." She changed our order with a great deal of disdain... Sorry, but I do not recommend this waitress.

27/10/2025: Having come for a drink around 2 p.m. to warm up in view of the terrible weather, we were captivated by this timeless place with its "estaminet" atmosphere and tasted the dishes on offer. It's tasty, traditional, and French (eggs meurette, snails, stewed brisket, homemade mashed potatoes) and it's everything we love! Authentic cuisine, very friendly welcome, and a warm atmosphere! Save room for the desserts, which are very generous, and keep your eyes open for the vintage decor. Special mention to the friendly, smiling, and accommodating server! We'll be back!

22/10/2025: Dinner with friends on a Saturday evening in Talloires. Eggs meurette to die for, 5* Savoyard escalope... a meal well accompanied by a Chateauneuf du Pape, just velvety, in short, perfect in every way. I'm not talking about the laughter break in the toilets... From the impeccable service, attentive staff, and good advice... nothing to say, all good. Thank you to the whole team for this delicious evening in every way. See you soon!

17/12/2025: Walked past this place which from the outside just looked like a typical cafe. On asking a waiter we were invited into the bistro with our dog in tow. Made to feel very welcomed.. We had an excellent lunch consisting of fillet of beef, wine and a delicious pudding. What a find. This Bistro is very good. I would highly recommend a visit. 4/5 stars in my view.

07/12/2025: We didn't have a reservation and thought we wouldn't be able to eat in Navarrenx, but Le P'tit Bistrot was open. Tables were available on the terrace and in the indoor dining room. We opted for the latter and enjoyed a weekend set menu for €26 per person, which was excellent. Homemade, high-quality cuisine: fried baby squid and duck confit. For dessert, we had a cheese and brioche platter. The confit was exquisite, served with perfectly cooked vegetables—a wonderful contrast. The cheese was superb. The service was very friendly. The couple who served us spoke Spanish, which made communication much easier. The dining room was very quiet and welcoming. Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back.
