The welcome, the service, the quality of the food—everything was perfect and very reasonably priced for the quality of the dishes. The menu changes seasonally, which is really excellent. 08/06/2026: A huge disappointment. Despite the attractive and appealing presentation, the skate wing had a very strong ammonia smell, clearly not fresh. Serving unfresh products to customers is unacceptable; what about the risk of food poisoning? Having eaten skate regularly in seaside restaurants, I have never received a skate wing of this quality. Inedible. The portions were quite small. I'm struggling to understand the previous reviews, so I assume there has been a change of ownership or chef. The table next to us also complained about the freshness of the fish and the sauerkraut... The staff, who don't seem to be valued, do their best to pass on the feedback from the dining room, which doesn't seem to be taken seriously. There are clearly some issues that need to be addressed to provide customers with service commensurate with the price...

25/04/2026: Very disappointing service. The waiter (around 30-40 years old) was particularly arrogant and disrespectful. It really ruined my experience. I do not recommend it.

For my taste, there was a little too much chocolate and not enough lemon in the "Exquise" galette, but it was good. The welcome was very friendly, as was the service. Thank you for the warm welcome extended to our dog, Rusty. We would be delighted to return if we are ever in Cancale again.

Everything was just right: the soup was absolutely delicious, the oysters very fresh, the pâté excellent, the ravioli with their perfectly executed sauce, and the caramel floating island dessert was the perfect ending to the meal. Generous portions, quality ingredients, and hearty dishes. The service was quick, pleasant, and relaxed. We were warmly welcomed and could enjoy our meal at our leisure. The atmosphere was more local than touristy, with a clientele of regulars, a welcome change from places that cater to just passing through. I highly recommend this restaurant.
