02/05/2026: I ordered the steak because it is said to be the signature dish, and it certainly is a style I’ve never seen before. They debone the steak with a knife and serve it like rib meat, preparing it right next to you as if it were a performance. The signature steak comes with French fries, a sauce that looks like vegetables simmered together—probably ratatouille—bread, and a small salad. The steak was unique, and the accompanying items were generous, so I really enjoyed the meal. I also ordered an asparagus dish as an appetizer, which was delicious as well. Best of all, the weather was nice, and it was great to eat outdoors in a great atmosphere. It seems like a good place to feel like you’re on a trip to France while enjoying wine and steak in the sunshine.

30/04/2026: Avoid this restaurant at all costs. The foie gras with Armagnac was inedible, so strong it was unbearable. Its presence wasn't mentioned on the menu, so after ordering it as a starter and a main course (beef fillet Rossini), we couldn't finish our plates. Following this, there was no gesture of goodwill, not even an apology from the staff, who hid behind the excuse of "to each their own." If you don't mention that your dish contains Armagnac, the least you could do is apologize. And it's not a matter of taste; it was simply INEDIBLE. The beef fillet Rossini was covered in cream with a slice of foie gras that wasn't even pan-fried, and I won't even mention the stale bread. With 10 years of experience in the kitchen, I've never seen anything like it. It's a disgrace.

22/04/2026: What a disappointment… We came as a family this weekend to celebrate a birthday properly. Accompanied by my in-laws, who are regulars here, we were sure we'd have a good evening. What a surprise! Let's start with the appetizer! Surprisingly, there was sand in the asparagus, which was quite crunchy… At the price of the appetizer, we could have done without it, but oh well, we moved on; these things happen. Then came the order of the main courses, where I was served kidneys instead of the dish I'd ordered. And the waitress had the nerve to ask us, rather insistently, "But don't you like kidneys?" as if I were going to change my mind just to please her. I don't know what could be worse. So I started eating my dish after the other guests had finished theirs… Anyway, moving on… The string of problems continues, and to return to your dessert menu, we have this "Liège-style frozen parfait" that I was really looking forward to. I'd barely sat down to eat when I rushed to taste it, and what a surprise it was when I realized that the horrible taste in my mouth was nothing more than spoiled cream. Before raising a fuss, I had two-thirds of the other diners taste it, and they all confirmed it. Not a single apology! They simply took my plate back to the kitchen and asked me again what I wanted… It was almost like we were bothering them. Finally, the bill arrived, and even the kidney dish, which we hadn't ordered, was charged to us, even though it was three times more expensive than the one we did order. The icing on the cake… In short, with the considerable number of bottles of wine and cream consumed and all the problems encountered, even the least commercial establishment would have had the sense to make a gesture, however small.

25/04/2026: Capucine, Thomas, and Lise: top-notch service and a truly fantastic team. I rarely take the time to leave a review for a bar, but I simply had to this time. The welcome was among the best I've ever experienced; it was simple, warm, and genuine. I highly recommend it.

24/03/2026: As an occasional customer of this neighborhood restaurant, I was very disappointed today. The wait between courses was far too long. I had to keep asking the waitress for my main course. She was deep in conversation with an Italian tourist who had just sat down next to me and completely ignored me. My dish finally arrived along with the one meant for the Italian, even though it had arrived more than half an hour after mine. She served me with an ironic, "I hadn't forgotten you." What can I say? She continued chatting with this Milanese customer, giving him a tour of Lyon, pacing back and forth while completely ignoring me. I was hoping to order dessert, but my gestures, both with my eyes and my hand, went unanswered. Disheartened, I got up to pay at the register. I didn't hesitate to express my disappointment with the service to the second waitress (who was much more charming, by the way). Le patron toujours fidèle à lui-même est bien sympathique, mais vraisemblablement ne se doute pas qu'en salle c'est une vraie cacophonie. Bref franchement même si vous n'êtes pas contraint par le temps, vous allez devoir prendre votre mal en patience. Ou alors faites-vous passer pour un transalpin, ça ira beaucoup plus vite. À bon entendeur...
