11/05/2026: We were passing through the Jura region with our family and dog, and we stopped at La Finette Taverne d'Arbois for lunch. I highly recommend making a reservation as it's often very busy, but despite this, the service is excellent from start to finish, with minimal waiting. The staff is very professional, friendly, and welcoming, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Dogs are welcome, a real plus for us. We ate in the vaulted cellar, which adds a lot of charm to the meal. Everything was delicious, the place is clean, the atmosphere is warm, and the organization is impeccable despite the crowds. A truly wonderful place that we wholeheartedly recommend!

02/05/2026: I had lunch at this restaurant for the first time today. The terrace is lovely, and the service was excellent: a bit of a wait, but everything is homemade and cooked to order. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and it was very good value for money. I savored an exquisite asparagus risotto and a divine strawberry pavlova. My friend chose the honey duck, which was also delicious. The restaurant is run by a welcoming and friendly couple who truly delight our palates.

19/06/2026: We visited this cheese shop on June 19, 2026. First, we encountered a rather unfriendly woman... This was the woman who served us. We asked if we could taste some, and she handed us a small glass container with pieces of cheese, telling us they were all mixed together... so it was impossible to tell which was which, and she wasn't willing to cut any more. Anyway, we asked for a small piece of Beaufort cheese. She showed us what she was about to cut, and we told her we wanted something smaller. She moved her knife and cut without asking us to confirm if it was okay... obviously, the piece was enormous... at 38 euros a kilo! Next, we decided to try the Alpine cheese. A piece had already been cut, but it seemed too big, so we asked her to cut it in half. She said no, she was going to cut it directly from the wheel. In the end, she cut twice the amount we asked for without even asking if we were happy with it... We then bought some Reblochon cheeses individually; luckily, there was no way we could be ripped off. In short, we ended up paying 60 euros for cheese without even a small discount. Despite this, the cheeses are very good, but be careful not to get ripped off on the quantities.

The cuisine is generous, flavorful, and perfectly executed: you can taste the care taken with the ingredients and the preparation of the dishes. The food is truly excellent, with a warm and friendly atmosphere from start to finish. The setting is also a real highlight of the restaurant. The dining room is pleasant, but the new terrace adds an extra touch of charm: modern, comfortable, and perfectly designed, it allows you to enjoy a meal in a calm and very pleasant environment. It's the ideal place to spend a lovely evening with friends, family, or as a couple. A truly wonderful place that I recommend without hesitation!
