07/06/2026: The salmon tartare, beef tartare, and Welsh rarebit were very good, but the service was a bit slow... a shame.

06/06/2026: Dining at this restaurant provided us with a bizarre experience. The starters were tasty, but the mussels were very small and quite tasteless. We initially thought the owner was very attentive; he pulled up a small table so we could enjoy the view of the church together during our meal. He did keep pointing out the view to us several times afterwards, and at one point, uninvited, he came and sat at our table with us, even though there were no other guests left in the establishment. His attentiveness turned into intrusiveness. He kept coming to sit at our table. We had the strong impression that he had had too much to drink. Then he even started asking my wife impertinent questions. I then asked him to leave our table and give me the bill. He suddenly became very angry and ordered us to leave the premises. New guests had just arrived, and he was briefly focusing his attention on them. I walked to the bar and asked for the bill again. He suddenly approached me very threateningly and pushed me very hard towards the door. He even continued pushing me outside on the street and grabbed me in a chokehold right in the middle of the street; he is a big man, and I am over 70. My wife shouted very loudly to bystanders to call the police. Then he let go and went back inside his establishment. We were quite shaken, but decided to leave it at that. We didn't pay either, not because we didn't want to, but because he apparently didn't want to. I don't think everyone will receive such treatment, but I really cannot recommend this restaurant.

22/08/2026: What a lovely place in Billom! I've always come here on holiday to the family home, and I only just discovered this little restaurant thanks to the reviews. What a wonderful find! High-quality cuisine, fresh, seasonal produce beautifully combined, impeccable service, and on top of that, a lunch menu at a very reasonable price! We love fine dining and good food, so thank you for this lovely experience, and we'll be back very soon.

02/08/2026: We ate on the wonderful terrace surrounded by nature. It's clear they have a special focus on children (a delicious children's menu served quickly so there's no wait, and a playground right next to the tables). The care put into preparing the food is evident (excellent value for money), and the relaxed atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The waiters were very friendly, even overcoming the language barrier with great patience. We would definitely return.

29/07/2026: Great experience! We stumbled upon this restaurant while out for a walk and it was a very pleasant surprise. We ate very well for a very reasonable price, and the staff were very friendly. Definitely worth remembering.

05/08/2026: A very bad experience. After spending the afternoon in the nearby park, we decided to stop for a drink. Upon arrival, we saw the "Open" sign on the door. We sat down on the terrace, assuming the restaurant was open for business. After waiting for about ten minutes, without any staff member coming to greet us, we saw several people inside. We tried to enter, but the first door was closed. So we went through the second entrance. The staff were eating and simply informed us that the restaurant was closed for a break. There was no apology for the wait, no explanation for the "Open" sign, and a particularly cold welcome. A simple apology or a kind word would have been enough to avoid this bad impression. Unfortunately, we left feeling like we were bothering them rather than being valued customers.

12/07/2026: We arrived at the start of service at 7 pm, about thirty minutes before our drink order was taken. There was no ice despite the intense heat. Three-quarters of an hour after ordering, two of us received our main courses, and the other two fifteen minutes later. We ordered salads: the vegetables, melon, and cheese were unpeeled—surely a new concept. The rest of the dishes were acceptable. After a long wait, we went to get bread. We didn't order dessert. The waitress, Axelle, was very efficient and friendly, juggling several tasks. However, the waiter who served drinks and took our money was incredibly cold and seemed to have forgotten all about politeness. The most appalling thing was the lack of hygiene in the men's/disabled restroom: stains of every color on the toilet bowl and the floor. In short: it wasn't our day, nor theirs. We won't be going back, and we'll spread the word to improve the situation.

12/07/2026: Avoid at all costs... the wait was far too long even though we were there at the beginning of service... and the salad could have been good, but they had to peel the melon, cucumber, and cheese rind... it was really more than mediocre, we won't be back... what a shame...
