08/09/2026: What a pleasant surprise to find a small restaurant in this lovely little village with such affordable value for money and a very warm welcome from the whole team! Everything was excellent from the appetizer to the dessert, and the staff were very friendly! We highly recommend this great place.

22/08/2026: The restaurant has been beautifully renovated, and is very warm and cozy. The menu is varied, offering quite a few vegetarian options, and the pizza is truly excellent! A perfectly crispy crust, cooked to perfection… a real treat. 🍕 The evening meals are also generous, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Everything was delicious. Julie is always smiling, warm, and pleasant. It's always a real pleasure to see her. 🙂 A place I highly recommend.

05/08/2026: I'm not going to talk about the hotel itself, I don't know it. I'm going to talk about the food, the atmosphere, the welcome... It feels good, like home. For lunch, I had reserved the chicken tagine. It was delicious, but, to my great regret, I couldn't finish it. Too much for me. The portions are generous, just like the staff and the owners. Generous, smiling, and in good spirits. It's a place that makes you want to go back. And don't even get me started on the evenings at Les Platanes. We always have a great time there.

04/08/2026: More than mediocre! €43 for 3 slices of melon with rind + 2 slices of vacuum-packed cured ham, all served in a shallow bowl mixed with salad 😳 The ribeye steak was thankfully rare, but so thin it was like shoe leather! Chestnut tiramisu? Nope, not that! The service was incredibly slow; the waiter was working alone and clearly did his best, sweating profusely. The Perrier and fruit salad were fine, though.

06/09/2026: This is a bakery/pastry shop that offers high-quality products and takes great care with its ingredients. The prices reflect this, as do the artisanal work and the quality of the products. It's a well-known and popular spot with locals who come to enjoy bread, pastries, and cakes. There's no option to have coffee on-site because it's on a busy street.

04/09/2026: The window display was enticing, and I decided to go there after reading the Google reviews. And indeed, coming home from the shop, it was tempting... I ordered a set meal with a ham, butter, and Emmental cheese sandwich and a flan, and I added a wedding cake and a traditional baguette. The sandwich was very good, with quality ingredients. The flan was good, but lacked a bit of vanilla flavor, and the filling could use some tweaking; it was a little grainy. However, the pastry was very good and crispy. The wedding cake was good, but clearly lacked texture with its crispy layer; it was rather flat, I think, even though you can see the quality of the ingredients. The baguette was good. The prices are quite high, in my opinion... all these factors justify my 4-star rating. It's a good bakery, but nothing extraordinary considering the prices.

05/10/2026: I'm giving 1 star because I couldn't have lunch there on Monday, October 5th, even though the website stated they were open until 12 pm. Perhaps you should update your opening hours out of respect for your customers.

26/09/2026: Passing through Vimoutiers, this is a place we'll definitely return to; everything was good. Reservations are necessary as it gets very busy.

Sharing a piece of their local heritage. No frills, no assembly-line service, no glitz, just authenticity and flavor. You can choose between goose or duck, knowing that the two are completely different in terms of taste. For dessert, the walnut cream is a real taste sensation. The coffee is truly excellent. 19/08/2026: We had a pleasant and relaxing stay. The room was very comfortable, especially the bedding, and the air conditioning was efficient. Dinner was perfect. A special mention for the very warm welcome. We will be back.

The food is generous, delicious, and authentic. There's parking behind the establishment for motorcycles. It was a pleasure to return in the evenings after two days of sightseeing. 06/12/2025: A fantastic find! This place truly deserves to be talked about. In Saint-Arnoult, at the Bistrot du Grand Manège – the restaurant at the Pôle du Cheval (Equestrian Center) – everything is homemade, the food is generous and delicious, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is impeccable. The owner took over the establishment in January, and you can feel his passion in every detail. Excellent value for money. A real gem.
