25/11/2025: Discovered this restaurant by chance while out for a walk. The chocolate fondant is incredibly good!! The staff are pleasant, attentive, and smiling; a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it.

18/11/2025: Well. I wanted to book for lunch, but first I wanted to ask a question about the meal, and the nice lady treated me like I was some kind of salesperson, so she ended the conversation before I could explain (I'm not French, so maybe it was my accent...). Too bad. Next time I'll ask my French husband to make the reservation.

14/08/2026: The waiters were very kind and helpful. The Savoyard fondue was excellent. Reservations are recommended during high season.

07/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, delicious food and top-notch service. Clean and comfortable guesthouse. Very friendly staff. In the heart of the village of La Grave, at the foot of La Meije. A fascinating mountain. Hiking in an exceptional setting.

22/07/2026: Outstanding restaurant away from the thoroughfare of central Monaco overlooking the sea. Food was outstanding - we ate Sea Bass and Turbot - cooked to perfection; watched the World Cup final whilst having endless supply of fine wines! Very accommodating and friendly staff - would highly recommend it. In fact we came back to eat here a few times.

05/08/2026: Criticism is often easy, but you have to share when something is good! Passing through Toulouse a week ago, we arrived a little late in the evening, but we were greeted with good cheer and smiles, despite the sweltering heat. A friendly and professional team of servers! The food was delicious! I'm no cassoulet expert, but the one I had was fantastic! A lovely atmosphere despite a crowded terrace; the misting system was a very welcome touch! Well done, keep up the good work!

23/07/2026: Everything is hearty and delicious. This is my fourth time eating here; the food is excellent, everything is homemade. This will become a go-to address for me to share with all my friends and family who come to Nantes. The staff is pleasant and welcoming. I recommend booking to get a table. The restaurant is very popular with regulars, and the prices are reasonable for this quality. I highly recommend it.

27/07/2026: I came here in October of last year, and forgot to write a review but I couldn’t let it slide after such an amazing experience, We’d just visited the catacombs nearby, and were looking for a cozy place to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and we found La Vie d’Ange. The owner happened to be in the place and welcomed us, the food was delicious and the hospitality made the night even more special than we expected :) Definitely a place id recommend to anyone looking for a place with a lot of heart behind every plate and welcoming gesture. Thank you for making that night so memorable.
