12/09/2026: I don't know who was serving on Thursday, September 10th, but their behavior towards us was simply unacceptable. We arrived at 7 p.m. with friends—there were six of us—and each of us ordered a drink, as well as a roasted Camembert to share. We then ordered two more drinks. About two hours later, two friends joined us, one of whom ordered a pint. That's when the waiter came over and offered my friend a cup so he could finish his beer on the sidewalk, claiming that, according to him, we hadn't ordered enough. I don't know in what world this kind of behavior is considered normal or acceptable towards customers. Especially since the table next to us was empty and no group was waiting to take ours. We absolutely didn't understand this way of kicking us out, especially since we were customers who had been drinking throughout the evening. A particularly unpleasant experience, which contrasts sharply with what one would expect from an establishment welcoming groups to drink and spend time with friends.

22/06/2026: We had an absolutely delicious meal here. The small menu offers a variety of Breton dishes, lovingly prepared and beautifully presented. The ingredients are fresh and of truly excellent quality. The wine selection is also impressive. You sit on a glass-enclosed terrace, sheltered from the Atlantic wind, with a view of the sea.

08/06/2026: Warning: This is a gem! Located directly across from Primel Beach, this establishment, run by a couple in their seventies, offers four 28 m² rooms with colorful names (blue, red, green, and mauve) overlooking the beach, with all the comforts one could expect: shower AND bathtub, large sink, separate toilet. The king-size beds are extremely comfortable, there's a kettle for making coffee or tea, a mini-fridge… everything is clean and very well maintained. Peace and quiet are guaranteed, with perfect soundproofing. All the (small) staff are welcoming, smiling, and attentive. One small but important detail: a fairly large parking lot is located behind the house. Breakfast is served on the veranda overlooking the beach, with a generous selection of breads and pastries, butter, jams, a hot drink (coffee, tea, etc.), freshly squeezed orange juice, fromage blanc, and a homemade fruit salad. You can request additional items if needed. The restaurant (reservations required) lives up to the rest of the experience: generous and flavorful home-style cooking, with thoughtful presentation and side dishes, and a menu offering several choices. Everything is homemade and prepared to order, so the service can seem slow (but you're here on vacation, not to be stressed!), but it's well worth the wait. And to aid digestion, a short stroll along Primel Beach is highly recommended. Heading back to the left as you leave the hotel, depending on the time of day, don't miss the magnificent sunset over Trégastel Beach. In short, we've found our go-to place for any future visits to the region. Plougasnou allows you to visit a good part of the region with a fairly rich cultural and historical heritage, and you are twenty minutes from Morlaix (also worth visiting!).

21/04/2026: We discovered the Relais de Montigny restaurant thanks to a voucher we won at a village fair, offering two set menus (starter, main course, dessert) for two people. We were charmed by the setting, the quality of the meal, and the friendliness of the staff. We will gladly return and will certainly recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.

14/09/2026: We came for the reopening, thinking it would be different... The staff were very pleasant but a bit overwhelmed, even though it wasn't very busy... They offer bread, but you have to go get it yourself before you've even finished your starter... The fish dishes weren't even lukewarm, even though we'd already waited over an hour. I can understand that, so we were eating almost cold food, but the worst part is they serve cod with aioli with the skin on top and the aioli on the skin?! I've never seen anything like it... Shouldn't the skin be on the bottom so the aioli on top can blend into the fish? And your homemade patatas bravas were well-cooked, practically burnt... We gave it a try... A few years ago, it was really good, but here, frankly, it's nothing special...

27/09/2026: I had the pleasure of discovering La Brouette restaurant, located in a charming family country house in Vence. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, perfectly in keeping with the rural setting. We had lunch in the garden, enjoying a remarkable view of Saint-Paul-de-Vence. This peaceful setting greatly contributed to the quality of the experience. The Danish-inspired cuisine was refined and delicious. The wood-fired trout was exceptional: perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, it is clearly a highlight of the menu. The owner was particularly attentive. His welcome was very kind, enhanced by a subtle and pleasant sense of humor that made the experience even more convivial. He was also aware of the criticisms in some reviews and clearly stated his intention to make the necessary improvements, which demonstrates a true sense of professionalism and service. I highly recommend La Brouette for an experience combining a rural setting, quality cuisine and a warm welcome.
