05/05/2026: We first learned about it through our travel guide and were looking forward to enjoying regional cuisine...in my opinion, a must-do when you're on vacation. So we booked a table for two the day before. When we arrived today, we were relegated to a tiny table in the back... mind you, we had reserved a table in advance... the restaurant was barely occupied when we arrived and when we left... there was an empty table for two at the front when we arrived and still was when we left... that already annoyed me... then the server (I think it was the owner) was more than unfriendly... The advertised ham with fried potatoes and gratinated Munster cheese looked very appealing... after we initially received one portion for two because he didn't listen properly to our order, we had to wait for the second portion... I wouldn't have made a big deal about that... but: the fried potatoes were soggy, so not freshly prepared but obviously reheated... but the worst part was, no onions or bacon bits, let alone any seasoning... as I'm a passionate cook myself, that was a real slap in the face... the ham was ice cold; a little warming would have been nicer... unfortunately, the highlight of this meal was the gratinated Munster cheese, and it just... A great aroma without any effort... Conclusion: unfortunately, after a disappointing evening, I cannot agree with the advance praise... I wouldn't visit it again...

15/02/2026: We celebrated Valentine's Day at this restaurant! It was impeccable; the chef and owner presented his own take on cuisine. The menu was €55 plus wine. The service was excellent, friendly and smiling. I was seated opposite the kitchen, and the chef clearly knows his stuff. Everything was spotless, from the cleanliness to the quality of the work. I spent 52 years in a kitchen; I know what's good and beautiful when I see it. I will gladly return to try the specialties at Le Goustut.

30/11/2025: The mezze format is quite nice, and the food is of a good standard. It's a shame the service isn't up to the same standard. We ordered a glass of wine, and the waitress offered us a taste before pouring it. After tasting it, we decided to order something else. The waitress then clumsily remarked, "If I had known, I wouldn't have opened the bottle." The standard practice in the industry is to offer customers a taste before serving them wine. There's no harm done if a customer changes their mind when it comes to wine by the glass. This kind of behavior detracts from the customer experience and undermines the work of the kitchen. It's a shame.

23/04/2026: The place is great and the service is too, but the food was a disaster. I've never eaten such a bad burger. The shredded beef was dry, tasted awful, and there was no sauce. When we complained that it was very dry and bad, they brought us a tub of sauce and that was it. When it came time to pay, we explained that it was terrible, but nothing happened. €32 for a burger and some very bad eggs. It's great for a drink, but don't eat there.

19/04/2026: Excellent food! Friendly service despite a few waits between courses. It's a shame the birthday candle was forgotten at dessert time, as requested beforehand... The most annoying thing: the dining room was very noisy! Glad to have left after such a good meal! :)

06/04/2026: A wonderful experience celebrating my mother's 80th birthday. The venue was unique, and the wine tasting was excellent, led by a passionate sommelier. The food was superb. A truly memorable occasion, despite the slightly slow service at lunchtime.

28/03/2026: The museum visit was a good experience. However, I recommend being vigilant about the prices in the shop. Yesterday, I bought a 2016 Château Labastidié for €20, which seemed quite high, especially since I had paid €17 for a 2006 vintage a few weeks ago in the same shop. After checking the château's official website, the price was indeed much lower at €12.90! This is regrettable and unfortunately undermines the trust that was beginning to be built!

30/04/2026: We discovered this restaurant to celebrate our 7th anniversary, and what a wonderful surprise! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The waitress was incredibly attentive throughout our meal, always kind, helpful, and offering excellent advice—a true pleasure. As for the food… we were absolutely delighted. Each dish was a revelation: from the delicious and perfectly executed cheese fritter to the incredibly flavorful curried lamb shepherd's pie, and finally the fresh and creative strawberry soup! The chef has a real talent for combining flavors and playing with textures. Everything was balanced, creative, and expertly prepared. You can feel the thoughtful, inspired cooking, made with passion. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, and we will definitely be returning!

24/03/2026: My partner and I came to this restaurant for the first time on a Saturday evening. We received a very warm welcome, and while the menu is short, it's quite varied, which is often a sign of quality! Indeed, the dishes were delicious, homemade, and traditional! A wonderful discovery! I'm eight months pregnant, and the service and the food were very accommodating to my dietary restrictions! The only slight drawback might be the portion sizes, which were a little small considering the price. In any case, thank you for a lovely evening, and we'll definitely be back!

It was wonderful (except perhaps for the other diners around us; a table of 17 people can be noisy (and I apologize, but silence isn't the norm at family meals, well... not in our house). The food and service were both excellent! Special mention to our waiter who almost lost his train of thought when we ordered the menus 🤔 We'll be back... but not all at once!
