09/08/2026: This restaurant serves good quality brasserie-style food. However, I was dissatisfied with the drink I was served, which was advertised as freshly squeezed lemon juice for €6. It was actually a glass of Pulco, as confirmed by the waitress when I pointed it out, and yet I was still charged the price of a supposedly freshly squeezed juice—the most expensive soft drink on the menu. I would have at least been charged for what it was: a simple syrup and water. Instead, the waitress told me that "that's how they do it." In an area frequented by many tourists, this seems to me to be a deceptive business practice.

The gratinated shellfish platter is simply incredible; there's nothing like it in the world! 😜 The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and frankly, everything is amazingly good! A must-try if you're in the area. Heads up! It's best to book ahead because it's packed!

26/07/2026: Arrived at 12:13 PM. The service was impeccable from the start. Despite the very busy crowd for this Sunday lunchtime, we were seated as soon as we arrived. I had booked three days in advance, and I highly recommend it because the Place du Château is very popular. Our aperitifs arrived in less than five minutes for the six of us. No complaints whatsoever; we were served small olives with them. The servers were efficient and very pleasant to chat with. Thank you to them for this warm welcome. (With the owner's watchful eye.) At 12:30 PM, we ordered our meals. At 12:50 PM, we were served, and some lovely appetizers arrived. I found the Thai shrimp had too many seeds and lacked a little something extra, a flavor to enhance the dish and give it a bit of something, perhaps a sauce... The salmon dish was apparently good, and the burrata was the same. 1:20 PM, the main course was served. My mountain burger (double) was delicious. The butcher-style patties were great, making for a hearty and filling burger. A little more salad would have been nice, but otherwise, the portion size was pretty good. The fish of the day was delicious (I'll keep the fish of the day a secret for you to discover). It was cooked absolutely perfectly, and they enjoyed the meal. The half duck breast was good and well-cooked; the rest of the dish complemented it well. The homemade cordon bleu was good. In fact, our plates are empty! 1:50 PM, the desserts arrived. They were just right, nothing to complain about, perfect for rounding off the meal. Overall, it was a bit noisy, but that's to be expected. The prices were a little high (just a little), and the waiter was a bit unbalanced, but it was quite a rush.

06/08/2026: We came to eat with a group after a morning of walking. The dishes were quite generous and well-prepared, which was very pleasant. The owners were friendly. However, I found the prices high (€23.50 for a Caesar salad, although it was a generous portion) and that there were far too few vegetarian/vegan options (only one or two dishes out of about fifteen) on the menu.

11/08/2026: Passing through Manosque, after doing my shopping I stopped there with my grandson for lunch. Despite the late hour, we received a warm welcome. The meal was generous, we thoroughly enjoyed it. A place to remember.

28/12/2025: Eternal thanks to the TELLECHEA couple. The pear-trout-foie gras mille-feuille and, of course, Xamango's Parmentier will remain among the pinnacles of gastronomy. And those impromptu evenings with Jean-Claude... Nostalgia for a genuine authenticity punctuated by unwavering standards.

10/06/2026: Invited to this rather intimate restaurant, I had the pleasure of enjoying homemade cuisine made with quality ingredients; a special mention goes to the sea bass ravioli, which were excellent. I was offered a flavored iced tea from a local brewery. A warm welcome.

Five stars overall, and it's well deserved. This is a place where you feel comfortable, with truly excellent cuisine.
