29/12/2024: Very nice place for a weekend. The menu is 55€ (if you do not add starters or main course at a supplement of 5€). It’s very good but there are small improvements in the cooking of the duck or the presentation of the lamb. The service is great, special mention for the cheese plate which is divine

29/12/2024: Une carte revue pour coller à la saisonnalité des produits, toujours une surprise sur les mets et les vins en accord... Encore une fois tout ceci fut merveilleux sans un service chaleureux et très sympathique, sans être trop présent... Un grand MERCI pour ce moment gastronomique hors du temps...

30/11/2024: À la limite de la malhonnêteté... Mon conjoint a acheté un bon cadeau pour m'offrir un dîner chez Thierry Schwartz à Noël l'année dernière en précisant tout de même que je ne pourrais pas en profiter immédiatement car nous attendions un bébé... La personne qui lui fait le bon précise que le bon est valable 6 mois mais que la date sera flexible en fonction de la situation mais finalement lorsque je rappelle en septembre, impossible de réserver ! J'explique la situation et attends pendant quasiment 2 semaines une réponse. Finalement la responsable "en personne" me rappelle en m'expliquant que nous avons tous des moments de vie particuliers mais que ca ne change rien à la date de validité de mon bon. Mon conjoint a dépensé la modique somme de 400 euros dans le vide et nous conseillons à toute personne qui voudrait offrir un bon cadeau dans un restaurant de se tourner vers un établissement plus humain, chaleureux et honnête que celui-ci !

15/12/2024: I was only passing through Loudun. So my review reflects the feeling of a Monday night on a dish. No one at reception. They looked like they were in juice. Knife tartare requires tender meat. This was not the case. It should have been put through a mincer. The fries were very brown. Brief. My experience was not conclusive. Edit: For the derogatory, not to say denigrating, response, I pass the rating from 2 to 1. Who do they think they are? I don't frequent any restaurant chains. Favoring small restaurateurs and large restaurants (I can easily increase my budget if the products used require it). You must have the level of a low-end chain when it comes to cooking. The welcome from a trucker is better and the quality of their dishes worthy of a Michelin star compared to you. The city is very sad with all these businesses closed. Will you be next?

05/12/2024: We booked at the last minute and no problem, very welcoming waiters and owner, top-notch meal. The pizzas are excellent with good products, a treat. We didn't sleep there, that's why I'm not rating the room, but to eat you can go there with your eyes closed!

06/09/2024: Very welcoming staff. Wooden atmosphere and American-style decorative touches. Complete menu of both dishes and drinks. Hearty and very tasty dishes. Animals accepted and watered. We will surely come back. Thank you for this good time.
