13/07/2026: It was delicious! The foie gras terrine was served with something like an onion confiture, and it was fantastic when eaten together with the baguette! The lobster risotto used a whole lobster, making it a very substantial and luxurious dish. The seasoning was just right, with a rich cheese flavor that was delicious! For dessert, the fruit tartare and passion fruit ice cream were refreshing and delicious! I was surprised when the sommelier brought out red wine when I asked for a wine to pair with the lobster risotto, but it was delicious too!

28/07/2026: July 28, 2026: A wonderful discovery during a day trip to La Grande-Motte. Fresh and excellent products, friendly and efficient service. 20/20 for the crème brûlée, which was absolutely delicious!

29/07/2026: Lunch alone, service just started, the restaurant was empty, and I'd already waited 40 minutes for a carpaccio (which was cold meat, by the way). The meat was unseasoned, bland, and you wondered if it was really Aubrac beef. The fries were frozen and greasy. The service was unprofessional.

26/07/2026: They have a Japanese menu, and the staff are friendly. The portions are large, so you can only order one dish, making it unsuitable if you want to try a variety of things.

01/08/2026: Fantastic restaurant near Little Venice! The terrace is lovely, with plenty of shade in the summer. The servers are truly the highlight of this restaurant—two very friendly men. They refill the tap water immediately, and the bread baskets for the salads are always thoughtfully filled. The servers have a great sense of humor and are very welcoming; it's a real pleasure to enjoy lunch here. The wine list is extensive. The menu is well-thought-out, not too long, and features high-quality, fresh ingredients, prepared with skill. I had the "Salad of the Cauldron," which was generous, not too heavy, and perfectly executed. Special mention goes to the rabbit terrine with prunes and the kirsch ice cream—a true delight. Thank you again for this excellent lunch. Furthermore, the €22 set menu (starter, main course, dessert) seems unbeatable. I highly recommend the restaurant and the team who run it. Thank you again!

20/06/2026: What a great find! We went two weeks ago before our holiday and again today on our return. Don't be surprised by the generous portions... We haven't tried everything, but the pizzas and salads are already excellent and very filling. The owners are super friendly. You need to make a reservation by leaving a message on the voicemail... They'll call you back a little while later to confirm. A great find! 👍

18/07/2026: I went to Central Bar to check out some new bars in the area (Cholet). I wasn't greeted by the staff, and no one even came to give me a menu or ask what I wanted to order. The waitress, a young blonde woman, seemed annoyed when I ordered a drink. She didn't smile at all, and I felt like I was interrupting her day. I'll ask the staff to have a word with her because her behavior seemed a bit haughty. Otherwise, the snacks and drinks were very good! I should also mention that the owner was very kind and attentive, contrary to what I've seen in some other reviews. 😁

18/07/2026: The best pizzas I've had in years! The dough is simply incredible, and this couple who run the restaurant go out of their way to make you happy! If you're passing by like we were before the Bodin's show, stop by and try their pizzas. And I haven't even mentioned the low price considering the size and quality.

05/07/2026: During a weekend in DESCARTES, we made a quick stop at Pizzeria Pinocchio where we received a very warm welcome and the pizzas were excellent.

28/12/2025: A very warm and attentive welcome, especially with two young children; everything was done to make them feel comfortable and enjoy an excellent lunch. A moment much appreciated by the parents and grandfather as well. The "pounti" was original and delicious, and the poultry, desserts, and Alsatian Pinot Noir were equally excellent. 21/07/2026: The room is noisy. Lots of flies are annoying, but it's the countryside, so please bear with us. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. Especially the desserts! You can ask for a vegetarian option, which is lovely.

03/07/2026: Absolutely delightful restaurant in a charming location. The food is homemade using farm-fresh produce; the charcuterie is delicious, as is the main course (the potato gratin is excellent), and the homemade cheeses are to die for! Plus, the staff is very friendly; you feel right at home! Note that the drink prices are unbeatable (€14 for a bottle of Montbazillac). A must-try!

A very kind and friendly owner, a professional waiter with a radiant smile, delicious burgers, a charming interior, reasonable prices, good wine and good beer. What more could you ask for? 30/05/2026: This is a great pub, a little piece of England with some great beers, and food cooked by Landlord/owner John. We are travelling in our Motorhome and John kindly allowed us to stay the night on the large carpark belonging to the pub, if you buy food and beer, no fee for the stopover. Naomi was running the bar, so friendly and speaks perfect English too. The steak burger was delicious and the salmon dish light and healthy. The beers, (real ale on draught) were superb. We ran a tab and paid for everything at the end of the evening. Highly recommend and we will be back next time we are in this area. Thank you.

07/08/2026: What a wonderful surprise! A set lunch menu at a ridiculously low price, including starter, main course, cheese, dessert, and wine... all superbly prepared. It's definitely worth the detour, even venturing off the motorway. I highly recommend it.
