01/07/2026: A huge THANK YOU to "Adonis" and a special mention to "Mélanie" for their patience and professionalism in resetting my "Maisons Lelievre" app, which I had lost and which has always been so dear to me. Not forgetting the warm welcome from everyone at the Grand Hôtel who assisted me throughout this process.

30/06/2026: A beautiful setting, but the cuisine, while refined, lacked a bit of flavor. The meal was served in eight courses. The meat was a little dry. The service wasn't perfect; we didn't order cocktails, but they were brought to us. We refused them, yet we were still charged. The error was corrected at the register, but it leaves a mixed impression of the establishment's professionalism.

22/05/2026: As a regular, the only drawbacks are the tables' exposure to the wind when it blows from the east, the evening chill in spring, and the slightly rustic sand of Agay beach. The organization is meticulous, blankets are offered to those who get chilly, the servers are friendly, the food is consistently good, the menu is varied, the desserts are generous, the prices are reasonable, and a real, ongoing effort is made to make this a place you'll want to return to. The owner has an eye for everything. It's also a beautiful spot for an aperitif and to watch the fireworks over the bay. Highly recommended.

31/05/2026: A very disappointing all-you-can-eat brunch despite a pleasant setting. We arrived at 1 p.m. and many dishes were already sold out and were not replenished. The selection was therefore very limited for a brunch advertised as "all-you-can-eat." Regarding the service, we had to wait over an hour for our drinks and even a simple carafe of water, which was particularly regrettable. The staff, however, remained friendly, smiling, and welcoming, and the place is charming, convivial, and very pleasant. It's all the more disappointing because, at €110 for two people, we expected a much higher quality experience. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience that we will not repeat.

25/03/2026: Discovered by chance, this restaurant has become our go-to spot whenever we're in Caen for medical appointments or during difficult times. The welcome and service are top-notch, even when the restaurant is full. The chef, who can be seen working in the kitchen, consistently demonstrates his talent by updating the daily menu and offering well-prepared dishes in generous portions. In short, a place to remember, where reservations are recommended and the staff is efficient and friendly.

02/07/2026: The food is excellent! I really enjoyed the "lemongrass beef" salad of the day: fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly delicious. It bursts with flavor! However, I was a little disappointed with the (too) classic club sandwich; I would have preferred something other than "fresh fries" as a side, but the manager explains it better than I can: "Here, it's all about the daily specials." The service was pleasant, and the manager was friendly and funny. The bill was reasonable. I'll be back!

06/06/2026: I ordered the fresh pasta in cream sauce and parma ham. Food was lacking some taste (a bit bland), and it's not the best pasta I had in our 9day trip. Service was fast and nice though

01/06/2026: What can I say? An exceptional moment with a passionate chef and a very friendly assistant. An experience I would gladly repeat. This meal is an ode to culinary travel and an adventure recounted by the chef. A multitude of anecdotes make this meal a truly special moment. The experience is a must if you have the desire and the patience. The only downside of the evening was the car breaking down in the parking lot, but the chef's good humor ensured we had a wonderful time.

03/05/2026: It's an unusual experience. Here, you don't come specifically for the decor, but rather for the ingredients sourced from producers around the world and cooked on the stovetop. The ingredients are high-quality, well-prepared, and perfectly seasoned. The service is well-orchestrated by two people, including the chef. The chef's rapid-fire delivery is interesting, but it's hard to take it all in. I was pleasantly surprised by the discovery of the sensations and flavors offered by the different herbs the chef invites us to consume between bites—it's truly surprising! The wines are very good, and Éric Favre is very friendly.
