09/07/2026: We came for ice cream as a family and had a wonderful time. The ice cream was delicious, generously portioned, and truly refreshing. A big thank you to Timothée, our server, who was very pleasant, smiling, and attentive throughout the entire service. It's always appreciated to be greeted with such kindness. I highly recommend this terrace, especially during this heatwave. It's a lovely place to relax in the evening, enjoy the cool air, and have a great time. We'll definitely be back!

It was our first time stopping there on our way back from vacation, and we were very pleased with our meal and the welcome. The service was very pleasant. We will definitely return on our next vacation.

04/07/2026: Family meal this evening (July 4, 2026). We ordered four different meals and were all very satisfied, from the main course to the dessert. The owner and staff were very friendly, responsive, and helpful. We will gladly return.

21/06/2026: The only negative point: a customer was smoking even though we were on the terrace... the smell of cigarettes while eating, no thank you. Luckily, we were already having dessert. That being said, don't let that stop you: the service was simple, welcoming, friendly, and very efficient. The food: EXCELLENT! Perfectly cooked, high-quality garnishes. Desserts of the same caliber. Highly recommended. A place to spread the word, return to, and recommend to your friends and family. Excellent! Very good. Absolutely. A superb discovery. Good value for money. A must-try. 28/04/2026: It was very good, but I was disappointed because the bouillabaisse looks like a gourmet dish… including the rouille, which isn't what I like in this dish, which should be generous.

25/04/2026: It was good. The service was good. A good classic, but one that could use a bit of a refresh. Perhaps a modernization. A little pricey, but worth doing at least once. A classic is a classic!

09/06/2026: A truly delightful evening! A warm welcome, helpful advice on the menu from a restaurateur who clearly knows his stuff and his ingredients. A refreshing change! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to make their stay in Saint-Malo unforgettable.

05/06/2026: We had a wonderful time on the terrace. Wonderful because of the thoughtful touches at every moment (like a blanket when the weather turned chilly), the kindness of the entire team, and the evident care taken in selecting high-quality, locally sourced products. Not to mention some excellent wines on the wine list. In short, a perfect lunch on the terrace. We'll definitely be back!

29/05/2026: Very mixed feelings. The homemade mojito... the preparation was lacking. The €28 set menu... the soup was okay because the ingredients were combined in a particular way. The duck was best forgotten. And the ice cream... not made with milk. Overall, it wasn't tasty, especially since the chef advertises seasonal and local produce. It looked nothing like the dishes in the photos.

15/06/2026: Excellent service. The restaurant overlooks a beautiful, renovated square in Metz. Small dining room and pleasant terrace. It's a shame the dishes are a bit relegated to the background. Should we abandon the choice of fish and seafood in Grenoble?

01/07/2026: The food was generally quite good, but I was disappointed by the foie gras (poorly deveined). The service was pleasant and professional. However, the bucket near the toilets for the leaking air conditioning unit and the smell of the grill that permeated our clothes were significant drawbacks.

20/06/2026: We dined at this restaurant and the experience was mixed. The ribeye steak was good, but not exceptional considering what one would expect from this type of establishment. The gin and tonic was far too strong. Despite adding the entire bottle of tonic provided, the alcohol remained very overpowering and completely threw off the balance of the cocktail. The biggest disappointment was the dessert. I ordered a lemon tart that contained a huge amount of biscuit and meringue, but very little lemon cream, which is supposed to be the main element giving the dessert its characteristic flavor. The result was unbalanced and frankly unpleasant to eat. I therefore asked to send the dessert back to the kitchen, but I was told that no refund or compensation would be given. This is regrettable when a customer expresses their dissatisfaction respectfully. In summary, the meal was decent without being memorable, but I particularly advise against the lemon tart, which does not at all correspond to what one expects from this dessert.

24/05/2026: The bar is great for drinks with a beautiful view of the harbor, a fantastic atmosphere with DJs coming by, a great owner, etc… but the waiter really left something to be desired. He didn't smile much, the welcome wasn't very warm, and we felt like we were bothering them. With the first warm days of summer arriving, we ordered cocktails and water, but he said, "I'll take care of the people who are drinking alcohol and paying first, and then we'll see about the water," which is completely unprofessional. Adding two chairs was too complicated for him (not for the owner, who happily made room for us). So we went to the owner for the water, and he gave it to us immediately, along with little jars of peanuts. Be careful when choosing your staff, because it changes the perception of the bar, which is otherwise great, as we've been going there for years now!
