02/10/2025: On Saturday, September 27th, two of us went to Antonmattei-Paoli and drank two Pietra Ambrées (0.25 liters). We were charged €10 for each. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the drinks menu in the restaurant itself, and we couldn't find any information online about whether a Pietra regularly costs €5. If that's the standard price, we find it too high compared to other restaurants in Corsica (we usually pay €4.50 there). The bartender only mentioned the price after a moment's thought, which further gave us the impression that we were being charged separately as tourists. We would have liked to round up the €9 bill to €10, but we didn't tip, and we didn't feel like trying the highly praised pizzas the following days. It's a shame, because the place and atmosphere are really nice in themselves.

23/09/2025: Much more than a pizzeria! A smile, a plate of local cheeses...in short, we had a great time; fresh products in very reasonable quantities; a dynamic team; a free digestif; I recommend without hesitation

31/03/2026: An OK option if you can’t find anywhere else to have lunch in Vieux Lyon. Service was good and staff were nice but the food isn’t great for what you pay. There’s better options in a gastronomical paradise like Lyon.

25/02/2026: The food was good, but the service was very poor. We booked by phone and were told we absolutely had to be there by 7 pm at the latest and that we would be forced to share a table because the restaurant was full. In reality, all the customers who walked in hadn't booked, and the restaurant wasn't full at all. We ate well, but the atmosphere is a bit odd. We wouldn't recommend it to tourists.

14/02/2026: In light of your response, I understand your negative publicity in 2022 with your "CHILD-FREE restaurant" much better. I think you mainly have a problem with customer relations and prejudices about your potential customers! I certainly don't work 35 hours a month as you imply... I can assure you it wasn't 8:40 PM because we were able to find a smile and service at 8:25 PM at another friendly restaurant just a little further up the street! Let's hope your mood is different for future customers! We couldn't eat at 8:20 PM on a Friday evening at the start of school holidays because they stopped serving... YET THE DINING ROOM WAS 3/4 FULL AND SOME PEOPLE WERE NOT BEING SERVED... We complain a lot, but when we want to, we can attract customers... Anyway!

29/11/2025: Bad experience at this crêperie. The galette batter was soggy, as if they were pre-made, and assembled just before serving. The ingredients weren't cooked properly. Even the classic butter and sugar crêpe wasn't good; the batter was rubbery, suggesting that the crêpe itself had also been made in advance.

06/11/2025: A very pleasant and relaxing setting. Fancy a sweet treat? This place has been here for 70 years!

20/02/2026: We ordered a starter, main course, and dessert. The starter buffet was very well stocked. We ate very well and the staff were lovely. We will gladly return.

19/01/2026: An experience to avoid. The room was already far too small for the number of customers, the products were overpriced, and the noise was truly unbearable, making conversation impossible. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the manager, but nothing was changed, and there was no gesture of goodwill or apology from him. Shameful, absolutely avoid!

25/11/2025: The connection was incredibly noisy; you could barely hear yourself speak, which was very unpleasant! The food wasn't anything special either. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing experience.

14/03/2026: We had been wanting to discover Le Petit Meunier for some time, and we chose this magnificent setting to celebrate our civil partnership. What a wonderful experience! Located just 20-25 minutes from Lyon, the restaurant offers a timeless escape. The place is superb: a modern and refined decor that has retained its soul by incorporating the famous mill inside, giving the room a truly unique character. We opted for the Prestige package, and it was an absolute delight from beginning to end. A huge thank you to chefs Laurence and Jérôme Gagneux, as well as the entire team in the dining room and kitchen, for their warm welcome. We were particularly touched by the attention paid to our event, with the complimentary glasses of champagne offered to celebrate our union. An exceptional address that we wholeheartedly recommend for special occasions!

13/03/2026: We came to celebrate a special occasion with my sweetheart, and we absolutely loved our time at this restaurant, which we know very well. A truly unique restaurant in Messimy! The new interior design beautifully showcases the iconic windmill that has made the place famous. It strikes a perfect balance between elegance and modernity, without compromising the restaurant's inherent charm: the exposed windmill and the beams running through it. The food was flawless. Two Prestige menus at €62, including a pre-starter, starter, after-dinner ice cream, main course, and dessert: not a single misstep, and even a thoughtful touch for the occasion we were celebrating. A huge congratulations to chefs Jérôme and Laurence Gagneux, as well as their entire team, both in the kitchen and the dining room, for their impeccable service. We had a truly delightful experience at this restaurant and we can't wait to return when the weather is warmer and the outdoor seating is ready. Congratulations again and thank you (special mention to the person who made the salted caramel for the dessert. My mouth is still watering!).
