19/07/2026: Generous portions of crepes, service a bit slow but friendly. Very pleasant location, lovely shaded terrace. The crepe batter was good but the filling was low quality.

17/07/2026: We stopped for lunch and weren't disappointed. The savory buckwheat crepes were generously filled, the ingredients were high quality, and the sweet crepes for dessert were just as good. The service remained pleasant despite the crowds, and the location on the Old Port is ideal for enjoying the setting. A great place to eat a crepe in La Rochelle.

02/08/2026: My parents have had a truffle-infused salt shaker from La Maison de la Truffe for years, and it always immediately filled the room and flavored the food. I came here for the same product and got the closest thing: truffle salt in a jar, the most fragrant truffle. At home, the aroma is released when you open the jar, but not at all when you smell the food that's been seasoned with it. A huge disappointment.

22/07/2026: Amazing truffle dishes! The steak tartare was incredibly good! The duck confit was also excellent :) Great wines!

30/06/2026: A small restaurant in the center of Poitiers with a look that could use some updating, but the food is just as good as any other! Everything is delicious, from the dishes to the service!

20/12/2025: A chance discovery. Exceptional! We haven't eaten so well in ages. Foie gras served in two courses: terrine and pan-seared with warm apples, hay-smoked pigeon, magnificent scallops, and the desserts were absolutely delicious. The waitress was fantastic, and the chef even came to say goodbye at the end. We'll definitely be back.

02/07/2026: This little inn is worth the trip if you appreciate simple, home-style cooking that's actually very good. The welcome is truly warm and the service impeccable. There are two choices for starter/main/dessert, but the price is more than reasonable. We loved it!

02/08/2026: Mixed feelings 🫤 The Saturday night crowd didn't help in getting a good sense of the service quality, however, the servers were courteous and professional. The only downside was that we didn't really have time to enjoy our aperitifs; the starters arrived far too quickly. As for the food... What a disappointment to have such good ingredients poorly prepared. The sweetbreads and sea bass fillet were overcooked, the kidneys undercooked... The vanilla-passion fruit butter was too strong in flavor, quickly becoming cloying. In the end, this restaurant offers a price-quality ratio that could be better if the kitchen staff had a bit more skill in their craft.

21/07/2026: Following the fascinating guided tour of the abbey, we were welcomed into this charming restaurant. The chef was absent due to health issues, and three women were running the place. Only the set menu was available, which we accepted. It was a buffet of homemade appetizers. They were simple, flavorful (the tomatoes were excellent), fresh, varied, and truly homemade. The main course was perfectly cooked marinated pork ribs with Provençal tomatoes, quality potatoes, and pickled beets. Dessert was delicious: a roasted peach on a bed of crumble, plus a scoop of vanilla ice cream. All for €15—quite reasonable. The restaurant filled up quickly on this weekday, a testament to the undoubtedly excellent reviews. Thank you for the warm welcome, the atmosphere, the impeccable service, and your dedication to doing things well. We look forward to seeing you again and meeting your chef when he's fully recovered. 07/06/2026: Having heard so much about this restaurant, we made a reservation (required). The dishes were very generous and delicious. However, we waited 45 minutes for the first course and quite a while for dessert. A shame.

03/08/2026: I came here for the macarons because the comments are full of it. I don't even like macarons. But they were just really good. They look ugly compared to the beautifully crafted ones you often find. But I assure you they are as tasty as everyone says. I tried every flavour (each is roughly 1€) and I really liked the almond, the cherry, the cocolate. The other ones were good if you lean into those flavours. Butnin general these are without a doubt the best macarons I've ever tried.

02/08/2026: I discovered the candied mandarins, which were delicious, and I tasted raspberry macarons that are currently my favorite of all the ones I've ever had. The service was adequate, but the decor is a bit dated and neglected. I recommend this place!
