08/03/2026: We had a truly disastrous experience... It used to be a magical place, both for its setting and its food, but now it's scandalous in every way. This was the experience shared by the people on the terrace around us. The establishment must have changed management... definitely avoid it for the time being. What a shame.

26/03/2026: Lovely diverse menu with a little bit of everything for everyone. The staff were very attentive and the food was fantastic! We had the fish & chips and the servings were HUGE!!! Definitely get your money's worth here. Highly recommend! A+++++!!!!!

25/03/2026: Regardless of the fact it is near the Cathedral and an assumed tourist trap, I admittedly ate here during a downpour and in desperation of a dry place at dinnertime. Knowing it was in close proximity to the Cathedral gave me expectations (low ones) as tourist traps are always in the vicinity of monuments. But hey, I'm married, have kids who need to pee, and the rain is coming down. If not for that I would have avoided this place like the plague just because of the proximity to the Cathedral. I ordered the chicken Caeser, my wife had the french onion soup. My salad was garbage; the salad portions were all rough with brown ends. The chicken so stringy and fatty I needed a steak knife to get through them. My wife's french onion soup was worse. It didn't even resemble, nor taste, like what it should. The cheese on top of the soup was laid on a small piece of toast, like the cook didn't even care to make it look or taste right. The food at dinner was gross, overpriced, and what I expected from a place so close to the Cathedral. If you find yourself in a rainstorm and without close dinner options while outside this restaurant then I'd only recommend sucking it up and walking a few streets over in the rain to find something semi-decent.

10/03/2026: We had a great weekend; the room was spacious with a sea view, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. In the evenings, there was a snack service, and the breakfast was very comprehensive.

25/02/2026: We had a wonderful stay at this ideally located hotel, right on the oceanfront. The welcome was warm and the room was very spacious with all the necessary amenities. The tray with the kettle was a nice touch.

We've been loyal customers for several years now, and nothing changes: the quality and the warm welcome are always top-notch—it's fantastic. You can go without hesitation: it's impossible not to fall under the spell of this place.

18/09/2025: A wonderful place, which you really don't want to reveal, in terms of ambiance, the wonderful swimming right outside, and the trees to sit under. Friendly people, everyone! We've eaten there several times and are very pleased with the ice cream and the salmon trout dish. The fries are a disappointment. Limp and greasy, not crispy. Perhaps the grease isn't hot enough?

20/11/2025: These homemade dishes are a real treat. Pork tenderloin in a pastry crust. Oh, surprise! Mashed potatoes, mushrooms, salad. Apple and raspberry crumble. Oh, surprise! A crumble with a twist, topped with delicious whipped cream. The dish name doesn't reveal everything. The chef has some surprises in store for you ;-) I highly recommend it.
