31/03/2026: Strange place for a single woman to go on a Saturday night, lots of men drunk that they won't even let them buy another drink. But I will give you 5 stars for it was an experience I will never forget.

The atmosphere is friendly, perfect for spending quality time with friends or family. You can tell there's real expertise in the kitchen and a dedicated team.

05/05/2026: Our first stop for a meal in Marseille. As we walked by I saw the most amazing panko crusted chicken Ceasars salad fit for 2 and had to stop. The burgers that passed by to other table looke tempting. Our first glass of wine was outstanding, just as I remember from rural Provence. I had the quinoa salad with a side of fries and it did not disappoint. The server was delightful and patient with my lack of french, but we tried. I recommend and will return to Place Castellane during my stay.

10/05/2026: I ordered a veggie burger which arrived with a piece of bacon. Mistakes can happen, of course, but a second server felt entitled to make comments like, "Well, it's not like you're going to die from it." That kind of value judgment is completely inappropriate.

10/05/2026: We went to the restaurant today for the Harry Potter promotion. We received a very warm welcome from all the staff. We were seated immediately, served very quickly, my daughters were spoiled rotten, and the meal was delicious. We thank the establishment for the hospitality we received. We will gladly return.

02/01/2025: Really nice place, cozy atmosphere and fair prices. The food was really great, a great Lyonnais bouchon place. The set menu was really delicious. Definitely a great Lyonnais restaurant to try if you are in Lyon.

31/12/2024: I live in the United States, and my little brother lives in Lyon. During my visit after several years of absence in France, one of my wishes was to eat in a Lyonnais cork. My brother managed to get a reservation for 14 people. We were warmly welcomed. The food was delicious, and the service impeccable. Our children and teenagers also loved it. I recommend this restaurant 100%!

29/04/2026: Dated to a restaurant on April 29, 2026. We enjoyed our cocktails and main courses. The servers provided good service. However, for dessert, I chose the "gourmet tartlet," which was the featured item on their menu. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. It was just buttercream, and you had to "find" the fruit in the dessert. I sent the dish back to the server, explaining that it was disappointing. When he returned, he told me he would remove it from the bill. When it came time to pay, the manager decided to charge me 50% of the price for the tartlet. I told the server that he had seen the same thing I had, that it was just cream. Frankly, it's ridiculous. I won't be returning to this restaurant. Given its convenient location, I don't think it would have been a problem to remove a poorly made tartlet from the bill.

29/04/2026: Nice spot for drinks and food, with friendly service — until dessert. We ordered their “specialty” pie… which turned out to be nothing more than a cookie with whipped cream and a tiny bit of fruit jelly. Not worth it at all. We complained, and although the waiter was understanding, the manager refused to remove it from the bill because it was “half eaten.” We ended up paying €4 after a 50% discount. For a busy place in Plumereau Square, it’s not about the money — it’s about the attitude. Disappointing

18/03/2026: A real local hangout with such a fun atmosphere. Great deal on the food too. We bought tickets for a jazz concert and you could pay for a dinner buffet. Lovely experience.

12/05/2026: I came in here for a bowl of water to locate the leak due to a flat bicycle tire. Even though it was well past closing time for lunch, I was allowed to wait in the restaurant and order a delicious ice cream. My husband was also able to enjoy a drink after the tire was patched. They made no effort at all to stay open longer for us, and the ice cream was delicious with the extra cookies. If we are ever in the area again, we would love to come back for dinner. Many thanks for the hospitality!

09/05/2026: We spent an evening and a night at this hotel with a couple of friends. A quality hotel. The welcome was excellent. The evening meal was superb, served in a beautiful room with panoramic views of the bay. Breakfast was very good. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and had comfortable beds. We had a view of the bay with Mont Saint-Michel in the distance. Kudos to the very pleasant staff and the owners for this lovely establishment.

29/01/2026: A warm welcome awaits you at this small restaurant, where you feel right at home, like in a family-run guesthouse. Exactly what we were looking for! The food has character, and the service is quick, efficient, and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

05/05/2026: Several visits to this establishment over the past four years, and always the same pleasure and passion for food. The menu is short; people come for the ravioli specialty, but they are prepared with undeniable skill. The setting is superb and peaceful, especially in the summer, with a lovely little outdoor terrace. My only complaint is the lack of maintenance (difficult, I know) of the plants near the terrace. But this doesn't detract from the pleasure of the dishes brought by the servers. Thank you again; it was a real treat!

Thank you for your generosity; it really shows in the taste. P.S.: If you call and there's no answer, go anyway; it's open except Sunday evening and Monday lunchtime.

14/03/2026: Excellent. Dinner last night with 10 colleagues. I tried the escalope with bacon and cheese, the island cocktail, and the pear and speculoos charlotte. It was excellent at a very reasonable price. The service and welcome were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it!

05/02/2026: We went back this Thursday at lunchtime. Longtime regulars, we even knew the previous owners and were delighted to learn that the new ones had already taken over a year ago: the food is still just as good. With our drinks, we were served appetizers – a lovely touch. We chose a Welsh rarebit (a regional specialty) with delicious fries: generous and flavorful. For dessert, a vacherin ice cream sundae was a real treat. The owners are very friendly, and it's clear that the clientele is mostly regulars, a sign of a great reputation. I highly recommend this restaurant – quality, a warm welcome, and dishes that make you want to come back.
