27/05/2025: Since the change of chef, the menu evolves every week. Broadly speaking, we have a choice between cuts of meat, burgers, and vegetarian options, always at a good price for the location. The side dishes also vary, which is a very good thing for this corner of Lille, often stuck in gastronomy. The service is impeccable, the barmaid is smiling and creative in her cocktails, which I recommend!

You're the waitress every bar would dream of having. I have nothing more to add. The world needs to realize what an exceptional and fantastic waitress you are.

07/12/2025: We had booked dinner very early and hadn't realized that the kitchen didn't open until 7:00 pm. However, upon arrival, the server immediately informed us that there was nothing available yet. Our reservation wasn't even looked at, and the brusque manner of speaking made us feel like we'd been transported back in time. Thanks for nothing!
02/12/2025: The starter and dessert were very good, but we never got to try the main course because we had to leave early, according to the waiter. The atmosphere was oppressive, and we felt almost rejected as young people, as if it wasn't for us. The service was rude and slow, even though the restaurant was far from full.

11/12/2025: A very pleasant surprise. A choice of two starters, two main courses (one fish, one meat), and two desserts, and frankly, everything was beautiful, delicious, fresh, and the portions were just right. For €23 for a starter, main course, and dessert, don't hesitate, it's really lovely. The only slight drawback was the decor.
28/11/2025: A delightful discovery in the heart of La Roche-sur-Yon. Excellent cuisine, beautifully presented dishes, and a warm welcome in a bistro setting. Very good value for money. €25 per person for an aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, coffee, and a bottle of sparkling water.

08/07/2025: I had flavorless moules marinière, and my wife had mussels in Provençal sauce, or rather, vulgar tomato sauce.
But the worst part was that everything was served cold.
Let's not even mention the fries, probably cooked and recooked several hours in advance, which were also served cold.
A very bad memory.
A restaurant to avoid.

02/12/2025: A wonderful experience. The location is beautiful, just steps from the Tufs waterfalls.
The rooms are simple but very charming, and the bed was very comfortable.
The meal was simply exceptional.

17/12/2025: A very pleasant surprise! There were 10 of us this Sunday at lunchtime, out exploring the region's castles, and we thoroughly enjoyed this delicious break. Well done to the team (both the service and the kitchen).
02/12/2025: Excellent place. We arrived unexpectedly, looking for somewhere to have lunch. Pleasantly surprised. Special mention to the waiter (owner?), who manages the service single-handedly... hats off to him! The meal was very good, with generous portions. Thank you.

Disappointing and expensive
03/11/2025: We stumbled upon this charming village and walked in at 1:30 pm for lunch, and were lucky enough to get a table.
We thoroughly enjoyed the braised ham with Montbard-style sauce; the sauce was incredible!
The welcome was warm, as was the setting. A great place to eat.

21/08/2025: While passing through the area, I discovered this establishment with its delicious Italian specialties! Warmly welcomed and served, I really enjoyed my burrata pizza, carefully prepared by the passionate chef with whom I had the opportunity to chat. Special mention goes to the desserts and the spritz!
A wonderful time spent here, as unexpected as it was delicious! I encourage you to stop by if you're passing through Plonéour-Lanvern!

19/09/2024: J'ai retrouvé avec plaisir ce restaurant connu en 2011! Je gardais en mémoire les sardines fraiches de St Gilles... par bonheur ce plat est toujours à la carte. On sens la fraicheur du port tout proche. Rien à redire sinon que nous avons regretté de ne pouvoir y aller à 9! Pas possible pour un vendredi soir! Mais je comprends.
07/09/2024: Très bon moment passé à ce restaurant. Le restaurant est assez petit mais très authentique. Nous avons pris le pot-au-feu de la mer, recette phare du restaurant : il est vraiment délicieux. Les prix sont un peu élevés mais la qualité est totalement au rendez-vous. Les desserts sont également très bons, même s'ils restent plutôt classiques (mousse au chocolat, tiramisu, crème brulée, glace).
Je recommande !
