21/05/2026: Chez Chilo succeeds mainly in demonstrating that a high price can perfectly coexist with a very ordinary experience. Between a dark dining room, soulless decor, and a welcome that feels intrusive, the setting unfortunately does nothing to redeem it. The dishes themselves remain desperately mediocre considering the prices charged: little flavor, little originality, and above all, no justification for the advertised price. You leave with the impression of having paid the bill at a fine restaurant for an experience that never rises above the level of a run-of-the-mill brasserie.

11/08/2026: We had booked for 8:15 pm on Monday evening, asking if it was too late. "No problem," the woman on the phone told me. So we arrived at the appointed time. Imagine our surprise and anger when we were told that the reservation was for 7:15 pm, that the mistake must have been ours and not the person who had made it, and that our table had been assigned. I must say that the man who greeted us was very unpleasant and convinced he was in the right. He had absolutely no customer service skills. He was nothing like the man who had served us in May, who was very charming. We won't be returning, which is a shame because the crepes are very good.

10/08/2026: We were really disappointed. We trusted the reviews... reviews from tourists, no doubt... who didn't know much about the food. The buckwheat crêpes were thick, dry, and the bill was just as hefty. If you're looking for authentic Breton crêpes, look elsewhere.

24/08/2026: Wonderful evening! Excellent service and cuisine. The Val André seawall is magical! The prices are justified! Be aware that it's often fully booked.

23/08/2026: Honestly disappointed 🤷‍♀️ First, there was a long wait to be served. The welcome was basic... the whelk was either too tough or undercooked! The salad seasoning needs improvement... and to top it all off, the beef tartare had large, tough pieces with no seasoning whatsoever!

19/07/2026: Three years of enjoying meals here every year, in every season! Top-notch service, delicious dishes, and desserts… we had the tuna steak with fries and fresh vegetables—a real treat!!! The sangria is legendary here! All the dishes are fresh! The owner is charming with an eye for detail that shouldn't be missed!!! Don't hesitate to come! A must-try!

02/08/2026: Great little venue. The manager was incredibly friendly and we had a fantastic evening. The comedian was amazing, I highly recommend it!

18/07/2026: Scheduled meeting time: 10:30 PM. At 10:45 PM, we are still waiting outside. It's 11:00 PM and the show still hasn't started. Don't make any plans afterward, or you risk having to cancel due to the excessive delay. The actual start and end times of the "show" can be helpful for all "clients" to plan their evening.

12/06/2026: Lovely place to stay. Arrived by taxi from Quimper after ferry and trains from UK. Lovely friendly staff. Swim in the salty spa pool was great. Dinner and breakfast superb. We set off along the GR 34 fully rested! Right by a beautiful beach.

04/06/2026: Hotel near the beach, 3 stars but it's a 13 🌟 + attentive staff who meet every possible expectation... Newspaper, umbrella 🌂, delicious breakfast, mint water 🍋, information and advice in the lobby, etc... Premium room with sea view, washing machine ☕, what more could you want? TV, bathtub, quiet space and more... a stay for 2, 5 minutes from the Thalasso spa. Thank you to the entire Kastel team who rise to every challenge 😄

05/07/2026: What a gem, this little restaurant in the Oisans region! We stumbled upon it during a walk and left delighted: this is truly delicious, good food, the kind we wish we could find more often. The grilled vegetables with mozzarella, enjoyed in the shade of the large linden tree, were perfect for this sweltering day. And the tiramisu, mamma mia... The warm welcome and reasonable prices made the experience even more enjoyable.

28/06/2026: Delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed it, it's homemade 😍 We'll definitely be back, even if it means a 2-hour drive, just to try the tiramisu 🇮🇹
