31/07/2026: Before heading to see "La Zone Indigo" at the Théâtre des Béliers Parisiens, just a stone's throw away, we stopped at Patakrep, the Breton Canteen, for dinner. It was an excellent idea, as this little neighborhood crêperie is so welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is simple, relaxed, and warm. The young, smiling, and attentive staff contributes to making the experience particularly pleasant. You can tell the place is popular with the locals, with a loyal clientele and a lively atmosphere that immediately makes you want to linger. We ordered two savory buckwheat crêpes with a good Breton cider. Everything was excellent. The crêpes were generous, perfectly made, with quality ingredients that came through in every bite. As for the cider, it was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. This isn't a place that tries to impress, but a truly good crêperie where you come to enjoy a good meal in a friendly atmosphere at a very reasonable price. A wonderful discovery that I highly recommend. If I'm ever in the neighborhood again, I'll gladly return to enjoy another galette. A simple, authentic, and charming place.

03/08/2026: The prices are a bit steep for the lunchtime takeaway meals, but everything is delicious. The sandwiches used to be an excellent, slightly more economical option, but they're no longer available. The rest of the grocery store is impeccable, and the staff are lovely. A must-visit in the neighborhood!

15/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! We tried the restaurant and loved the concept of the daily changing menu. Everything is homemade, the dishes are very well-balanced, and you can tell they take real care with seasonal produce. Everything we tasted was truly delicious, and the welcome was incredibly warm. I highly recommend it and will gladly return to try the brunch menu, which looks absolutely tempting.

03/05/2026: Perfect stay. This is a charming hotel with fantastic staff, especially David at the front desk and the restaurant team. We arrived with bicycles which we were able to keep just outside our room, no problem. Food and location could not have been better. 10/10.

02/08/2026: Quite disappointed with our visit to Auberge des Charmettes. It was rather expensive for food that didn't really live up to the price we paid, and the service was subpar. We spent ages looking for the asparagus in the poached egg with Louisiana crayfish. I absolutely do NOT recommend it!

30/07/2026: I discovered this restaurant in the old town as a newcomer! It's completely out of need of renovation! Almost neglected! The surprise comes later with the taste of the dishes coming out of the kitchen, which saves the establishment's reputation. However, the service is lacking... not to mention the waiter who recommends a wine that doesn't match the dish at all. As a long-time wine enthusiast... ouch! That stings! So, some coordination between the dining room and the kitchen would be very welcome!

23/07/2026: I come here regularly for a delicious savory crêpe with andouille sausage or other specialties, a great Caesar salad, seafood or Périgord cheese… and a crêpe with orange, chocolate, or other fillings—everything is excellent! The flour is milled on-site by Didier, a passionate and welcoming man, as is his team. The place is calm and very pleasant. I highly recommend this quality crêperie! Go without hesitation; you won't be disappointed!

11/06/2026: I've been to this restaurant quite often, but last Friday evening was a real letdown. The service was very good, but I ordered a crêpe with the following ingredients: Andouille sausage, potato, and Roquefort cheese. The crêpe was very dry (was it one from lunchtime that had already been cooked?) and I'm still looking for the Roquefort. I'm very disappointed with this experience: what happened? I don't think I'll be returning to this restaurant, much to my regret, because up until now it had been really good. What a shame...

The owners, a couple, go out of their way to accommodate your preferences! It has a lovely, family-run feel, bringing a real sense of community to the town! The prices are very reasonable considering the work involved in running an establishment like this! You'll also benefit (if needed) from advice on nearby places of interest! 21/04/2026: I spent a few weeks there during my business trips; the owners and their employee are very kind. I felt right at home, with several choices for dinner, and the portions were generous. The rooms are very spacious, and it's always a pleasure to stay in small hotels recommended by the Logis website. They're always welcoming establishments, a far cry from the impersonal chain hotels.
