25/08/2026: Great welcome. Lovely terrace. Affordable beer with peanuts (basic beer, admittedly, but still the cheapest half-pint in Gérardmer), well done! Plus, there was a concert!

23/08/2026: Nonexistent welcome, cold and amateurish service, poor quality and badly made drinks: the iced caffe latte was drowned in milk (we had to explain to the waitress how to make one) and the matcha latte was drowned in sweetened milk (we had asked for it unsweetened) and of poor quality. Go for the shop if you want, but not for a drink. PS: The owner's responses are appalling, worthy of a 4-year-old who hasn't yet grasped the concept of self-reflection – if you're not open to criticism, close down!

18/05/2026: **An incredible meal!** The Baeckeoffe is simply exceptional, cooked to perfection and rich in traditional flavors. Warm service and a friendly atmosphere; I highly recommend it.

06/07/2026: Decent hotel only a 20 minute tram ride away from Nicé airport. The swimming pool is situated in a lovely garden and is nearly 6ft deep in its deepest end. The bar serves a lovely pint of Kronenbourg. The rooms are extremely comfortable with air conditioning in the summer months. Although this hotel is on the outside of Nicé, it is a good base if you want to stay somewhere quiet, yet also within a reasonable commute into the city centre

19/08/2026: We were just passing through and were craving pizza, so after reading the reviews, we decided to try Catta Pizza. The pizzas were absolutely delicious, as were the desserts. We'll definitely go back if we have the chance.

27/08/2026: A real gem for wine and tapas lovers! The owner is incredibly attentive, passionate, and always offers excellent advice on discovering great wines. As for the tapas, everything is delicious and prepared with care. Special mention goes to the cheddar chips and the falafels: a real treat! A place where it's always a pleasure to spend time.

19/03/2026: Located in the heart of the village of Cormery, this little restaurant is charming. Tastefully decorated, I really enjoyed it. As for the food, I found the menu simple but effective. The waitresses are discreet and efficient! It was my first time at this place, and at first glance, I found the price a bit high for tagliatelle. But the quality and quantity are definitely there! The dish was more than enough to satisfy me! The ingredients are fresh and of good quality! My friend was delighted with his beef tartare; it was fresh, flavorful, and he also appreciated the fact that he could add whatever he wanted to it (a small side plate of garnishes). Homemade fries, fresh salad—nothing to complain about… A restaurant worth discovering, but remember to book! Well done to the team!

The recipes are original, everything is homemade, and the chef is passionate about village life, and it shows. I can't recommend it enough! Plus, you'll get a little hello from the star, YOLO!
