02/05/2026: My wife and her colleagues from the town hall went to this restaurant on Wednesday, a place we'd frequented for several years for coffee after our walks in downtown Bordeaux. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was cold, without a smile or any real attention, especially from a young brunette woman. My wife and her colleagues had forgotten to make a reservation, which can happen, but a little more cordiality would have been appreciated nonetheless. The wait to order was particularly long, only to receive a mistake with one of the dishes. After so much time, this is hard to accept. When it came time to pay, the prices seemed quite high considering the quality of the food. The dishes tasted okay, but the presentation left much to be desired, giving an impression of carelessness. I don't want to criticize the establishment, but there are clearly areas for improvement. A disappointing experience that doesn't make us want to return anytime soon.

27/04/2026: Cute and hip restaurant with a great vibe. Lunch was delicious, and I love that they keep the menu short and focused instead of offering a long list — everything felt well thought out. The staff were friendly and welcoming too. Definitely book a table before you go to avoid disappointment.

25/04/2026: Saturday, 1:00 PM, there were three of us. We waited to be served. The waitress told us she only had one table for two people. She gave us no other option, even though there were other tables inside. The service left much to be desired. I don't know if it was because we weren't French, but we weren't treated well.

29/04/2026: We only had tarte flambée, but it was absolutely delicious. The dessert was also very good. And the bald waiter is great! The noise level was too loud for my sensitive ears, hence the deduction in the ambiance rating. Otherwise, a definite recommendation!

12/12/2025: A fantastic restaurant. Everything is homemade with quality ingredients. I had a beef bourguignon the best I've had in ages. A real treat! The service was quick and friendly. We also got to try a nice little wine, so I left with several bottles. Thank you, I'll be back!

03/02/2026: A very good restaurant with a lovely terrace. Mâcon, delicious calf's head, Loire red wine, very successful sweetbreads with porcini mushrooms, and a very good vanilla soufflé with chocolate pastilles.

28/12/2025: Excellent restaurant. Refined setting. They offer a set menu for €65 and another for €45. À la carte dishes are also available. The wine list is classic. The portions are generous and beautifully presented. The flavors and seasonings are just right. The service is professional and attentive. We were served a little too quickly for my liking. The "mid-course drink" offered after the starter would have been better served after the main course. It's a wonderful restaurant that I highly recommend. However, I suggest calling ahead as it seems the restaurant might be closing. Happy retirement to the owner...

08/04/2026: My partner and I are regulars now; we come regularly. The restaurant is friendly, the staff is truly excellent, always smiling. The food is very good for a very reasonable price. The selection of wines, spirits, and liqueurs is quite varied. The chef is skilled in his dishes. The service can sometimes be a little slow at lunchtime, but that's understandable; doing everything quickly and efficiently isn't a viable option, especially with a full service. I highly recommend it. The Latin American music on Saturday evenings is a big plus.
