12/01/2026: After a mountain pass ride in the cold, what a pleasure to find L'Atelier Gourmand! Being the only place that accepted credit cards was a real plus. The waitresses were very kind, allowing us to store our bikes safely and close enough for us to keep an eye on them. The food was good, served quickly, and homemade—what more could you ask for? Thank you again for the warm welcome.

10/02/2026: I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel La Tour d’Ivoire. I spent several nights there as part of a business trip, and each evening the food was excellent. Special mention goes to Brian, a very talented chef who is also very kind and helpful. The atmosphere is pleasant, I highly recommend this hotel, and I will definitely keep the address for my future trips to the region.

17/05/2026: The restaurant was nicely decorated and we were impressed by the menu when we booked well in advance. Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience when we arrived at the restaurant because the hostess said she had tried to call and inform us (which was not true at all) that our booking was not valid even though we had received the OK from another colleague. I was treated extremely badly when I explained that I had been informed that there was a table available from one person on the intended date. The woman continued to angrily and rudely claim that the restaurant was full even though we had received our booking confirmed and that it was visible that there was space available in the restaurant. After others in my party insisted on a table, we were given a table for five (we were six people booked) but no apology or even good manners, since we did not get the right number of place settings for the table. We also had to ask for extra cutlery and ask for an extra chair for the last person who was not there or who came by himself. The waitress was stressed and we tried to get attention to ask for simple things like allergies and salt. The last one we never got. The food was ok and that's what gives two stars because the visit was overshadowed by a terribly rude treatment. We won't go there again and don't recommend it.

11/05/2026: So I only tried the deli section: buying ice cream, bread, and pain au chocolat. The first day, they quoted €2.20 for a baguette, but if you buy two, it's €1.50. The second day, it was €6 for three baguettes, and when you mention the previous day's price, suddenly the prices match... and all this with a deathly smile... my god, what a tourist trap! Not to mention the price of the ice cream for those ugly half-scoops.

13/04/2026: Mountain restaurant with delicate cuisine. Seating is on straight, upholstered chairs or quirky bus benches. It gets busy on weekends, so you have to raise your voice to hear each other. The lighting is dim, diffused by small lamps on the tables.

01/03/2026: Absolutely fantastic! We'd been a few years ago, and the welcome was very warm. The young woman clearly loves what she does, and it shows in her smile. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but that's to be expected when it's homemade. The food was a delight from start to finish, and the quality-price ratio was excellent. We had a truly wonderful time and will definitely be back. Just so you know, I never leave reviews for restaurants where I've been disappointed; we eat at one or two different places each week.

17/01/2026: It's been almost two years since I finally rediscovered authentic Italian pizza here in Sainte-Cécile! The dough and cooking are top-notch! 21/11/2025: The welcome was very pleasant, the menu was good, but there was one drawback: my son found a large black hair in his potato pancake. We called the owner, and his reaction was quite surprising. He simply said, "These things happen." And he quickly put it in the palm of his hand, trying to be as discreet as possible. Above all, we were disappointed because, despite his apologies, there was no empathy whatsoever, and certainly no gesture of goodwill in return. I'm seriously considering going back. It's a shame for them.

21/03/2026: We came for lunch without a reservation. The waitress politely informed us that a reservation was necessary. We accepted this. At that moment, the owner burst in, made it clear he was overwhelmed even though the restaurant wasn't full, and unceremoniously ushered us out. The owner was very unpleasant and didn't smile. When you provide a service, it's essential to be pleasant to your customers. Because a smile is the customer's best reward.
