17/09/2025: Very nice place, the welcome is attentive. The service is a bit oppressive at the beginning of the meal. You're not even really seated yet when they ask you what you want to drink. 30 seconds later, the appetizers arrive (very good, by the way). Then they take your order, then they clear the appetizers and bring you oil and bread, but all this in a short period of time. Once you start eating, it calms down. The menu is limited but with good products, and we really enjoyed the beef bourguignon, a real treat, and the burger too. I just didn't like the waffle potatoes (cold, hard, and oily), which I mentioned to the waiter. Dessert is the best: a trolley full of pastries, and you can choose up to six. Very good, with original and local flavors such as blackcurrant, anise, etc. The servers were also very pleasant. The prices are high but in line with the quality of the products and service.

The products are quality, but the cuisine isn't very sophisticated. €27 for a slice of rump steak is definitely a bit of a stretch. In the restaurants they've copied, fries are unlimited. Here, it's €5 and something. They've stopped offering a free apple at the end. The service is efficient, the terrace is pleasant. Note: the terrace is non-smoking.

04/12/2025: They serve everything (croisants, bread, etc.) by touching them with dirty hands. They touch coins and bills, and then the food. Nothing could be more unhygienic. Nice bakery, friendly staff. One day I had a baguette and the next a pain au chocolat, but I touched both with my hands after giving the previous customer change. I never went back.

It seems they changed the chef, as well as the staff; the food quality has dropped significantly, although the service is still good. It's a shame, as it used to be excellent.

The desserts were delicious, the atmosphere very pleasant with the fireplace lit, and the welcome was outstanding. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

07/07/2025: We were lucky to get a seat outside - and we had just walked up at a busy time. We were trying to get into another restaurant but it was too busy- and I’m so glad we got in here. The service was friendly and the chicken dish I had was absolutely gorgeous, lovely vegetables and all tasted fresh. (A few days later we went to the ‘other’ restaurant and imo it wasn’t nearly as good as this one.) I really liked it here.
