06/06/2026: The food isn't up to the standard of a neighborhood brasserie: the fries are soggy and the steak tartare is tasteless and tough. The wine list is very expensive: €7.50 for a glass of Côtes du Rhône, and a 25cl carafe isn't any cheaper.
The decor is typical of old Parisian bistros, and the terrace is pleasant. The interior isn't very well maintained.
01/06/2026: Avoid this place if you're looking to eat. The "homemade" cordon bleu was bad; the turkey wasn't cooked through and had no seasoning. The turkey/ham/cheese ratio is questionable: it was practically all turkey and cartilage. The fries were greasy and tasteless. The waitress didn't apologize when she took back a full plate, just passed the information on to the kitchen. The value for money is terrible: 45 euros for two cordon bleus and a Coke…

If you have the chance to try their duck meat pie and apricot tart, go for it.
In a lovely setting.

The dish wasn't even listed as the daily special, so it was significantly more expensive, more than double the price. The quality was okay, but the portion size was ridiculously overpriced. And the ice cream sundae for dessert was just two measly scoops...

29/06/2026: Let's be honest, we were in the village hoping to meet some of the ITC cast and crew... Mission accomplished.
And naturally, we went to eat at the nearest restaurant.
And we have no regrets.
First of all, the waitresses were very friendly and professional despite the intense heat.
Their salads were generous, made with quality ingredients.
The hamburgers were equally well-prepared.
It's a really great place in a great location.
08/06/2026: We've eaten here several times during a cycling tour. As always, we were very satisfied. The Gardiane de Taureau is fantastic. Everything was delicious. We'll definitely be back.
