06/01/2026: For fans of processed food, at exorbitant prices, it's perfect. The value for money is zero: €21.90 for the set menu without drinks or anything else. The starter was canned (canned). The chicken ham was made with reconstituted, industrially produced meat, not a chicken breast. The bread was the same. In short, it's not my thing. The dessert was a slice of defrosted pie. 🥹 What a shame.

13/12/2025: Very warm welcome. The starters were good, you can tell they came from the metro, but oh well. However, we had pasta with venison stew, and the pasta tasted like water, not pleasant at all, which was a shame. The dining room was very bright when it was busy. On the other hand, the service was excellent.

03/07/2025: I just spent 3 days in Magnolia Calvi. The location is perfect, near to everything very central and convenient. Unfortunately few event were really annoying; To start, one morning while we were still in bed, the housekeeper tried to enter the room without knocking. We shouted “no”, but she came in anyway—and then proceeded to speak to us standing at the door, while we were still lying in bed. It felt like a complete lack of privacy and respect. The next day, after the cleaning service came through, we returned to find our blanket thrown on the floor, and the towels hadn’t even been replaced. That was honestly quite shocking and unacceptable for any hotel. The reception is almost All the time empty, we tried to call few times, but no one ever answered. And also, if you have big luggage’s, no one will help you carry it, which in my opinion is the basic service any hotel should provide.

30/06/2025: We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The welcome was warm and the owners were very kind. Dogs are welcome.

03/01/2026: We chose the tasting menu to discover the chef's cuisine. We weren't disappointed; the amuse-bouche was excellent and perfectly prepared our palates for what was to come. The dishes were of high quality with just the right touch of zest to elevate them. A very good restaurant; we will gladly return to try the rest of the menu.

20/10/2025: Very nice restaurant, cozy and relaxed atmosphere, cuisine as beautiful as it is refined. 2 slightly disappointing points despite the quality of the address: the bill remains quite steep, and the welcome and service are a little cold and lack a smile. It's also a shame not to have had a visit from the chef, he would have deserved our congratulations!

21/01/2026: The place initially looks rather cheap, but once inside, the atmosphere is welcoming and, above all, the food is exactly what I like: homemade dishes prepared in the traditional style, with a very decent selection. The welcome, the friendliness, and the reasonable prices these days are fantastic! Well done, I'll be back. It's best to book ahead to be sure of getting a table.

29/11/2025: We had a wonderful time enjoying lunch together as a family of four. The service was very professional and attentive, the food delicious, and the decor unique and highly original, reminiscent of Stark. Le Lift remains a reliable choice in Orléans and is the best restaurant on the banks of the Loire.

25/11/2025: The restaurant Le Lift hosted our wedding reception. Philippe Bardeau prepared a delicious, generous, and refined lunch. Our sincere congratulations to the chef and our thanks to the team!

20/01/2026: A very good experience at the restaurant by Lake Javan! There were six of us, and we were seated immediately. The service was quick and attentive, and the staff were pleasant and smiling. The value for money is quite good for Megève, especially for a restaurant located directly on the slopes. An ideal place for a friendly lunch break while skiing. We will gladly return.

03/12/2025: Unfortunately, it's hard to find any positives. The place was cramped, and the tables were very sticky! However, our meals arrived quickly. The onion soup was simply water and onions, completely flavorless. The Irish coffee was cold, with too much alcohol for 8 euros! The Nutella and banana pancakes – you'd think this dish couldn't be messed up, but they were – very thick, mushy, and bland, and the chocolate turned out to be the cheapest chemical ice cream topping. The carbonara was also tasteless and made of questionable ingredients. When we finished, the waiter was eating his meal, so we waited to pay so he could finish. I don't recommend it.
