25/09/2026: I absolutely do not recommend this place; we had a terrible experience. The place wasn't that busy, but they still took a long time to bring the food. My dish was a fish risotto that cost €25, and it arrived cold. For that price, you expect a good meal, and that wasn't the case. When we asked for the bill, they charged us more than the prices listed on the menu.

21/09/2026: Fantastic restaurant! I've lived in Montpellier my whole life and I didn't know about it. I took my in-laws there (they're Korean), and we had a wonderful meal with really professional, friendly, and helpful servers. I highly recommend it; the welcome was very warm. Thank you to them!

28/09/2026: An excellent choice ✨️ We had dinner at Auberge de Montpoupon and it was delicious. The restaurant has everything we love: a small menu with simple but very well-executed dishes. We received a particularly warm welcome, excellent advice, and impeccable service, which completely convinced us of the quality of the place. We highly recommend it!

19/09/2026: A visit to the Château and why not have dinner nearby? There's a charming little inn with easy access to a parking area at the rear and a lit path leading to the courtyard. We push open the door and are greeted by Morgane, a professional and smiling woman who seats us. Over an aperitif, we peruse the menu: simple, clear, featuring regional dishes sourced from local suppliers. Refined cuisine. Finally, a moment to share with the Chef and his wife, the passionate owners. A big THANK YOU for this discovery, which we highly recommend. Long live them and their establishment!

15/09/2026: Today, Tuesday at lunchtime, off-season and not on weekends, we were turned away at 12:30 because it was mandatory for two people to eat inside. The terrace was off-limits to couples.

16/10/2026: The two of us visited today and wanted to share one portion of pot-au-feu. However, the owner insisted that we each order a portion. When we asked about other dishes, he said they were not ready, so we ended up ordering two portions of the same dish. His manner was reasonably polite, but there was very little flexibility in ordering. The portions were far more than we could finish, which felt like a waste of both food and money. We would have appreciated being able to order an amount that suited our appetites.
