22/09/2024: A very nice address, with the possibility of having lunch on the terrace when the weather permits, a very warm and family welcome, a (very) generous cuisine of Alsatian specialties: don't hesitate to stop, or even take a detour, you won't you will not be disappointed!

24/08/2024: Unanimously (there were 6 of us), an excellent address! Well presented and delicious plates with multiple flavors, served with all the good humor and sympathy of the staff.
22/08/2024: When we ask for a high price, we manage to serve the first course in less than an hour and a quarter, (there are 3 courses on offer, it has to be managed) yet we were the first to order from this evening service from 7:30 p.m., all this in front of a roundabout and a single waitress (boss), who does not want to feel embarrassed by this wait ("we have preparation.....""). Plan to reading. Left without dessert after 1 hour 45. The pig pluma was very correct The owner's response is off topic and insulting, so see who you are dealing with, I never wait an hour and a quarter. start of service in a good restaurant

The moules were particularly good and very fresh.

18/09/2024: I visited the Au Rendez Vous restaurant with my wife and child and overall I was very satisfied. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the stay pleasant. The view is definitely a highlight and creates a nice atmosphere. The food was good, but I expected a little more.

12/09/2024: Despite a relatively limited menu (a sign of freshness of ingredients and production to order), having arrived at 12:30 p.m. for lunch, the waitress greeted me by telling me that 3 dishes were not available. The burger I had was relatively good, the fries were very hot but soft.
03/09/2024: Ashamed! We had reservations for 3 people, when we arrived the staff was very rude and our table was not ready at all. We sat down, 15 minutes after sitting down the waitress gave us a single menu for 3, she told us all the missing dishes on the menu (only 5 dishes were still available), some time later she told us Took our drink order and then never came back to take our food order. After 40 minutes of waiting we had to go directly to the counter to order only to be told that the dishes we wanted to order were also not available. We finished our cocktails which were very average and paid the full price price and went elsewhere. They didn't even apologize once for this bad experience, no professionalism.

Too bad we find ourselves in the middle of the room on a table of two and thus absorb all the noise and hubbub of the guests around us.

10/12/2024: An interesting taste experience. The mixture of flavors is omnipresent but not excessive, always with a background of traditional cuisine, unlike certain other starred chefs who only seek novelty while forgetting their basics. On the other hand, I would have appreciated a slightly lighter, more airy dessert to wash it all down... Of course the bill is gastronomic, but is acceptable given the quality of the meal served. Note that at Fantin Latour the whole table does not have to eat the same menu, which is nice.

10/09/2024: Good atmosphere near the park and the lake, very good service, really good dishes and well respected according to the customer's requests. The only negative point of this restaurant is the prices, which are a little more expensive than the norm. Let's say that the €25 restaurant ticket goes quickly. Apart from the price nothing to complain about

15/12/2024: A good time in a good restaurant in the mountains. The prices are affordable, the food delicious, the waiters adorable and super efficient, the warm decoration.... stop by!
08/12/2024: Hicimos una reserva para las 21:30 después de reconfirmar dos veces esta reserva. Cuando llegamos, nos dijeron que teníamos reserva a las 18h diciendo que era error nuestro con muy malas maneras. Igualmente nos sentaron para “hacernos el favor” y finalmente nos dijeron que debíamos irnos de manera arrogante y que no nos iban a servir. Uno de los camareros ni siquiera hizo el esfuerzo de hablarnos en inglés/español, únicamente en francés aunque le dijimos que no le entendíamos.
En conclusión, nunca había visto un trato tan desagradable en un restaurante. No lo recomiendo a nadie.
Hay restaurantes mucho mejores y con un trato exquisito a tan solo unos minutos andando. Si buscáis una experiencia agradable, sin duda no vayáis a este restaurante.

05/09/2024: Quite disappointed.
The quantities are ridiculous.
I took a raclette for at least 2 people and suffice to say that the quantity of cheese was very very small.
I'm not even talking about the plate of salmon for 2 people accompanying the raclette which was tiny.
Considering the price it's quite shameful.
The back table had the same quantity as us for 4 people...
The fondue was pretty good.
In short, I give it 2 stars, the waiter who was very nice made up for it.

30/10/2024: J’ai attendu plus d’une demi-heure pour … le plat du jour ! Pas un mot d’excuse quand l’assiette a enfin été livrée (il manquait le pain, la salade et une serviette). C’est René, l’ancien propriétaire, qui a pris les choses en main et a eu la délicatesse d’offrir le café.
Le café de l'opéra : c’était vraiment mieux avant !

28/07/2024: Lekker ‘s avonds op het terras langs het kanaal gezeten. Jammer dat de beplanting langs het terras niet gesnoeid was, een plant prikte af en toe in mijn arm.
Ik koos het verrassingsmenu van de chef. Lekker maar er waren nog wel wat verbeterpunten. Een warme tomaat met daarop een goed gebakken stukje zeebaars is lekker maar doe er geen sla tussen. Het nagerecht smaakte voortreffelijk, de presentatie kan beter.
De rundertataki met kruidenbouillon was subliem.
De 2 wijnen die bij het menu werden geschonken waren goed gekozen.
Aardige bediening.

02/08/2024: Lovely spot, good service, but needs to tighten up a bit.
I generally avoid too much salt, so when I find food to be under-seasoned, that runs a flag up the pole for me. My squid on polenta or such like (see, not quite worth remembering) just ended up being mess on a plate. My wife wasn't impressed at all, despite the dish reading well on the menu.
As I say, good service. Wine excellent, and just tighten up and the place will be much better for it in my view.
08/05/2024: Assez déçu, pas extraordinaire et surtout assez cher :
- 2 cocktails 28 € , Ok, mais sans accompagnement à grignoter c'est mesquin (olives ou cacahouètes ou n'importe quoi), .
- Le rumsteak black angus avec pommes grenailles , 34 €. C'est plutôt banal et très cher pour de la viande pas hyper tendre nerveuse froide et quelques patates.
- Les desserts : Tiramisu café = Bon. L'assiette de fromage par contre, très radin sur la quantité (3 petits morceaux) !
Dans l'ensemble une addition de 110 € injustifiée avec la sensation d'avoir trop payé.
pour la direction : soyez plus généreux sur les quantités, mettez de quoi grignoter avec les cocktails, servez des plats chauds, changez de boucher.

05/07/2024: One of my favourite spots in Paris - great wine selection, in particular the Champagnes, and a nice relaxed vibe if you want to try something on site. A cool vibe inside, unpretentious service and all wines for sale are available chilled to enjoy.
