05/07/2026: We had a wonderful family lunch today. We stumbled upon this place by chance because the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed, but what a lucky find! We've been in Brittany for a week, but this is the best restaurant we've been to so far! We all ate very well, and the service was excellent. Thank you all!

06/07/2026: Good bistro food, simple and tasty. It's a shame that two waitresses took care of our table; there was a bit of a wait at times, and they weren't on the same level. One was very professional and friendly, the other seemed unfamiliar with the menu (the Vosges salad, for example, "includes salad and is composed of several things").

12/06/2026: During our visit to the Lalique and Meisenthal museums, we had lunch at "Chez Thierry". We enjoyed the atmosphere, the friendly service, the food, and all at a very reasonable price. This is definitely an address to remember for a future visit.

26/06/2026: The owners are always very welcoming and the food is always excellent (homemade, not industrial), which is why I return to this restaurant whenever I have the opportunity to be in La Rochelle.

10/06/2026: I was quite disappointed with my visit. The staff provided the bare minimum of service; admittedly, it was fairly busy, but the welcome wasn't very warm, as if I were bothering them. After paying, I barely even said goodbye.

15/07/2026: We had a wonderful time as a family! A great restaurant in the lovely setting of the Marais Poitevin, with very friendly staff... The €22.50 set menu was perfect value for money. We especially liked the delicious little vegetable tartlet as a starter and the incredibly light strawberry cake for dessert. Special mention for the homemade préfou (a type of flatbread)! 😋

21/05/2026: Very nice atmosphere, super friendly service staff, and the food was really good too. We were mistakenly served someone else's order, which was then on the house. The waiters took it in good humor, and I was able to try the "Terrine de lapin" (rabbit terrine). I thought it was delicious. But our original order, which arrived immediately afterward, was also very good. I also found it very convenient that you could pay easily with your mobile phone using the QR code on the table, even with the option to leave a tip. The value for money is excellent. I can highly recommend it. Update: We returned to this restaurant three years later, and nothing has changed. Very friendly service, pleasant atmosphere, and the food was once again delicious. Still a clear recommendation.

20/05/2026: Before visiting the nearby National Assembly, we stopped for lunch around 1:30 pm on May 16th. We received a warm welcome, there was no wait, and we were immediately seated even though the restaurant was already quite full. The sweetbreads with morel sauce and fresh pasta were absolutely generous and, above all, delicious. The onion gratin was a real treat for my wife, as was the plate of warm vegetables—generous and very appetizing, which is often the case with this type of dish—that she ordered afterward. The vegetable risotto disappeared quickly, as my eldest son enjoyed it so much, and the Angus flank steak was devoured by my second son with relish. Unfortunately, time was short, so we didn't have time to try dessert. But judging by the other tables, we have little doubt it would be excellent. As for the service: quick, efficient, and above all, friendly. A special thank you to Fernand, who took excellent care of us, for his good humor, wit, and kindness. In short, we enjoyed the place so much that we went back for a drink after our visit to the National Assembly. And there again, we received the same warm welcome! A well-deserved 5 stars!

14/06/2026: Located on a small square, this brasserie is always packed! Delicious homemade food, crispy fries, and flavorful, perfectly cooked meat! Great taste, quality, and excellent service. The welcome is friendly, and the service is quick and efficient. Don't miss it, and it's best to make a reservation! A large dining room and a terrace.

03/07/2026: The view was superb, and what can I say about the service and the meal? We had a wonderful time; the culinary offerings were delicious. The highlight was the pistachio Paris-Brest dessert, which was absolutely divine. Bravo and thank you for your hospitality at your establishment.
