26/09/2024: We can only recommend coming to Vidal's to have a great evening. Whether it's our meal with a menu for 60 euros, the availability and smile of the staff, the very pleasant and quiet room. We must also highlight the investment "two young people" who must be in a hotel high school. We come from the Var and the menu that we chose, in terms of its quality and price, has nothing to envy of a starred restaurant that we have in the south.

22/09/2024: Very disappointed by the main course, that is to say monkfish "drowned" in a so-called "stuffy" accompaniment, a dish that was much too salty, no vegetables, no presentation.

26/09/2024: Nous y avons dejeuné un jour de pluie et de passage à Chateauroux. Plats copieux et savoureux aussi nous avons calé sur le dessert. Tout est parfait : l’accueil, la deco. Seul bémol, les tables sont trop serrées on manque vraiment de place et l’on doit malgré nous entendre les conversations des voisins. Mais malgré ce désagrément, ce restaurant vaut la peine d’une visite.

12/09/2024: Pas emballé ! J’avais pris un filet mignon, j’ai été très déçu. Quantité et qualité pas au rendez vous pour ce plat. En revanche le dessert, un flan banane chocolat était correct. Je ne récompenserai pas ce restaurant. Déçu !!!

03/10/2024: Excellent address for a professional or personal dinner. My guests and I were delighted to discover the dishes, each as delicious and well presented as the next! The service with a smile is just as pleasant. A small typical French restaurant. The only downside is the spacing between tables, which also reflects the style of the restaurant.

01/10/2024: These are the type of small, creative,, well priced places in Paris that are hard to find unless someone recommends it to you. The service was professional, friendly and quick. The food was delicious, well plated and very reasonably priced( 42 euro for app, plat and dessert). The potions were generous. Eggs mayo, Pork belly and floating island meringue (pictured). Soo good AND it is apparently a Michelin star restaurant!

28/09/2024: Petit havre de paix et de tranquillité Nous sommes venus déguster de délicieux gâteaux en terrasse, quel lieu plein de grâce, de charme, et de raffinement, à l’image des gourmandises présentées et des divers produits proposés. Tarte aux fraises pour mon mari excellente, et pour moi sur la recommandation de la conseillère très connaisseuse et vraiment si agréable comme sa collègue d’ailleurs, tarte au confit de figues. Je note le sublime, la délicatesse et surtout le vrai goût des produits sans oublier la texture soyeuse et douce, sucrée en parfait équilibre. Quel plaisir en bouche!! En tous cas, tout est cohérent et vraiment très sympa. Accueil très chaleureux, on s y sent merveilleusement bien, un vrai Chef digne de ce nom et une équipe extra! Plein de cœurs pour cette adresse!! Et évidemment que nous reviendrons :-)

02/09/2024: I haven't eaten such great food since I got celiac disease diagnosed. The restaurant it self is decorated lovely and the staff is kind and helpful. All in all the experience was wonderful!

19/09/2024: Excellent roadside restaurant with very welcoming staff, very good food however limited HGV parking space but there is a way to park in the port area.

18/09/2024: Phenomenal. Very warm staff. We felt comfortable straight away. Wine, cider and water are already at the table and you can pour yourself. Instead of a menu, the waiter comes with a tray with various appetizers on it. Here you just take the ones you like. The main courses are on the wall with the various side dishes. The desserts are also on the wall. No big menu, no frills, eat honestly. There are some parking spaces behind the house for truckers. Oh yes, for 14.90 euros everything is included: food, drink and friendliness.

16/09/2024: Did a road trip to Foix and enjoyed lunch here. The veggi risotto was amazing, the atmosphere was warm and the staff were friendly.

13/09/2024: We arrived at the Jeu de l'Oie a bit by chance and we were not disappointed! Quality cuisine, friendly welcome, pleasant atmosphere. If we return to Foix, there is a good chance we will stop there again. And this time it won’t be by chance 😉 Above all, do not focus on the particularly negative opinion which dates back several years, they are no longer the same owners.

10/09/2024: Après 2 excellents repas tests au Grand Arbre, nous avons décidé d'y organiser notre repas de mariage (25 personnes). Nous avons été extrêmement bien accompagnés par Mme Gounel et ses équipes (espaces mis à disposition, élaboration du menu, boissons, tarifs, éléments que nous pouvions ramener...). Tout correspondait à nos attentes ! Le jour J, nous avons pris un copieux apéritif sur une des terrasses extérieures (à l'écart des autres clients du restaurant). Dès le départ, nos invités se sont régalés avec les différentes bouchées proposées (accras, poulpe, saumon, foie gras, magret, pois chiches, courgettes...). Nous avons ensuite été installés dans la magnifique salle de restaurant (dans laquelle nous avions pu préalablement installer des compositions florales sur les tables, marques places, dragées...). Menu au choix du chef + vin: entrée (foie gras), poisson (loup), viande (veau), pièce montée revisitée. Aucune fausse note: tout était excellent ! Le service était impeccable (présent quand il le fallait et efficace). Encore merci pour votre accueil et à bientôt : nous reviendrons, c'est certain !
