13/08/2025: The young owner who just took over this restaurant has made it a little gem of Gascony cuisine! Excellent menu: recommend the foie gras plate. The homemade brownies are exceptional. Warm, cheerful, and friendly welcome. A must-try if you're in the Gers. The village is very cute.

08/08/2025: Très bien. We loved it. The plat du jour was soup and quiche with a salad followed by pork sausage ragu on rice or pork loins with fries and salad with crumble for dessert. But the 'crumble' was actually Dutch apple tart with whipped cream!!! I was so 😊! Plus a small jug of wine each. All for 19E. Lovely outdoor seating with fantastic medieval rustic views.

08/04/2026: A meal with two of my sons, who are usually picky eaters. Everyone was happy. The dining room is quiet, the service excellent, quick, and above all, friendly. A restaurant I highly recommend for the quality of its menu, its daily specials, and its freshness. An institution and an excellent brasserie in Rouen. Bravo! 👏👏👏

04/02/2026: The welcome was rather lukewarm; we waited a while without being served. After flagging down a waitress, we were finally able to have lunch. The meal was simple, but the service was quick.

12/04/2026: On the tables, anchovy dip with fresh vegetables and ploutargue with lemon toast and butter. We're in the Camargue, and it's wonderful to rediscover the region and its authentic food. The veal with porcini mushroom sauce was hearty and delicious. Local guitarists played a variety of tunes, keeping the volume low to respect conversations at the tables. Locals and tourists alike made for a pleasant mix, and there was a lot of young people. The service was abrupt, provided by Camargue natives who seemed a bit hard to win over. The decor was Camargue-style.

29/03/2026: A meal in a courtyard, under a pergola, around a bread oven. Nothing particularly special about the food. A charcuterie platter as a starter. Meats cooked over a wood fire in the bread oven, decent. All very generous portions. The wine list was nonexistent. The names of the estates weren't even listed. We ordered a 2019 Château Puech Haut white, past its prime, where all we could taste was the oak. We went there more for the atmosphere: a relaxed, informal setting with a family-run, open-air café feel, and a friendly welcome. Live music, unfortunately (for us) not gypsy jazz that day. A few couples were dancing to 70s music.

01/03/2026: Finette isn't what it used to be! Prices are going up and quality is going down. Now, frozen food is the priority: overcooked steak, vacuum-packed sausage, and poor-quality fries. Portions are getting smaller, and the quiche isn't good. It's a shame when you remember the quality of a few years ago. So, the friendly atmosphere is still there, but that's not enough, far from it... It will always be a nice place for a beer on the terrace, but I'll be avoiding it for lunch from now on. Such a shame in such a beautiful village. I think the monopoly situation isn't raising standards...

28/02/2026: There were seven of us at the table. Three of us ordered mussels and fries, one with Roquefort cheese which was good, but the other two ordered marinière. Don't even bother ordering the mussels; they were swimming in water with parsley and garlic, tasteless, and not good at all. We pointed it out, but no one reacted. Very disappointed, and on top of that, no one offered any compensation.

04/04/2026: The room was clean and pleasant, and the welcome was very friendly. Dinner this evening was absolutely delicious; from the amuse-bouche to dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We highly recommend this place for hiking or exploring the region.

18/10/2025: The establishment listed at 11 ter rue du congrès is absolutely not super bowl. There is a Nice canteen there. I find it hard to understand why a company like Google is unable to provide good information. Maps are becoming ridiculous and have been unusable for years.

10/04/2026: A first for us at this restaurant for lunch for two, on a weekday, served on the inviting back terrace, on a mild spring Thursday! The service was pleasant and perfectly timed, the cuisine excellent, featuring fresh, generous, and varied ingredients (I recommend the scallop parmentier as a starter and the tuna belly with, among other things, superb caramelized onions). The quality-to-price ratio was very reasonable! To top it all off, a friendly exchange of satisfaction with the Chef! An excellent experience for a truly lovely moment! Thank you

09/04/2026: All dishes are homemade, with plenty of choice. Traditional cuisine. As the weather was lovely, we ate on the very pleasant terrace; it felt like we were on vacation. Excellent value for money.
