11/08/2026: We had a lovely time as a family celebrating the end of our vacation. The view from the terrace was magnificent, especially watching the sunset. The food was very good, and the value for money was excellent. The staff were friendly.

10/08/2026: KEEP GOING. We came for dessert as a family and were asked to come back 30 minutes later (we waited and asked again). We returned after another thirty minutes and were simply told they were overwhelmed, there were no more free tables (even though six tables for four were empty), and they wouldn't have time to serve us dessert that evening.

09/06/2026: We got married at Domaine de La Ferrière on June 6, 2026, and honestly, we couldn't have dreamed of a better place to celebrate our wedding. From our first visit until the day after the wedding, we felt supported, listened to, and cared for. A huge thank you to Angélique, the event manager, who was absolutely exceptional. Her follow-up was impeccable from beginning to end. For every question, every doubt, or every request, a simple text message was all it took to get a quick and precise answer. She managed our schedule with incredible professionalism and always looked for solutions to meet our needs. Without her, our wedding simply wouldn't have been the same. The day before the wedding, we discovered a room already prepared according to all the instructions we had provided beforehand: table layout, number of people per table, chairs, overall organization… Everything was already set up. We arrived with our decorations at 9:30 a.m., and by 2:00 p.m., everything was finished. This help took an enormous mental load off our shoulders at a time when every minute counted. The fact that the Domaine also provided catering was a huge advantage. It eliminated the need to coordinate multiple vendors and greatly simplified the organization. And above all… what a meal! We received an impressive number of compliments from our guests. Several people told us they had never eaten such delicious meat. Others confided that it was the first time they had ever eaten so well at a wedding. When nearly a hundred guests spontaneously comment on the quality of a meal, it truly is exceptional. The quality of the catering clearly contributed to the success of our wedding. The service was seamless, the courses flowed perfectly, without excessive waiting. Even our DJ told us that the quality of the audiovisual and sound equipment was among the best he had ever encountered at a reception venue. The Domaine is magnificent. And honestly, the photos available online don't do it justice. The grounds, the greenery, the outdoor spaces, and the overall atmosphere are even more beautiful in person. The 28 rooms are a real asset for guests traveling from afar. All our rooms were booked, and those lucky enough to stay in the suites were absolutely delighted. It was even a very pleasant surprise for some of them. We also greatly appreciated the on-site babysitters, an extremely convenient service that allowed parents to fully enjoy the evening. Even when a guest felt unwell during the reception, the team reacted with remarkable calm and efficiency. They handled the situation discreetly, provided immediate assistance, and we didn't even have to worry about it. It's this kind of attention to detail that demonstrates the team's professionalism and experience. We received hundreds of compliments on our wedding, and many of them were thanks to Domaine de La Ferrière and its staff. If we had to do it all over again, we would choose the exact same place, without the slightest hesitation. A huge thank you to the entire team, and especially to Angélique, for helping to make this day one of the most beautiful moments of our lives. We recommend Domaine de La Ferrière 1000%! ★★★★★

I highly recommend it...but remember, no debit cards, only cash...and only a handwritten note to check the bill. But I was very honest, and I didn't leave a tip...because they deserved it!!! Stop peeling tourists like a potato!

18/09/2026: A small, cozy creperie with very friendly service. The seating is right on the street and the decor is somewhat basic. The crepes were delicious. We highly recommend it.

23/09/2026: A magnificent setting and an impeccable restaurant, but catastrophic service: dishes arrived at the wrong time, orders were forgotten, and mistakes were repeated. This completely ruined the experience and made it unpleasant. Despite the management team's attempt to make amends with a gesture of goodwill, I remain very surprised and disappointed by this service.

21/08/2026: It's a shame, Madam, that at the end of the meal you took it upon yourself to speak directly to my husband, telling him he looked like a pregnant woman. You know nothing about us. We remind you that you make a living from tourism and, after all, you are required to serve people of all kinds. With this single comment, made in full view of several other people in your establishment, you ruined our meal. Please know, Madam, that my husband lost both his parents within six months, and his weight in no way defines him or makes any assumptions about whether we are avid hikers, which we both are, despite our weight not hindering our physical activity. It goes without saying that we will not be returning to your establishment because of this fatphobia you display, which we can only deplore.

18/08/2026: A week later, we're still thinking about La Dame au Chapeau! We were blown away! Madame, Isabelle: you inspired us so much! Continuous service, getting up at 5 or 6 a.m. every morning to set up, working both in the kitchen and the dining room, all by yourself… it's quite simple: not only did you amaze us, but you made us want to learn from you! We work in completely different professional fields, and yet the passion you put into your work inspires us to do the same in our own! We have incredible memories of our meeting with you! Even beyond the meal, which was excellent. To everyone: we highly recommend this restaurant! We walked past it on our way out of the gondola lift the day before and decided we wanted to have dinner there. I called to make a reservation but I got the wrong restaurant when I looked it up on Google. No matter, after dinner at the restaurant just downstairs, we went back to Isabelle's/La Belle Rencontre to make a reservation at the right place this time, for the following evening! The 12-spice fondue is incredible, excellent, and it's a close call between this fondue and the lemon-basil tart! We can't wait to come back!

29/09/2026: Very good. Be careful of the emergency exit, which is locked with a chain and padlock. Excellent meat.

20/09/2026: The burger was burnt, I asked for a replacement, but they told me I'd eaten more than half of it (I'd eaten at the steak). So the owner told me that, in his opinion, the bun wasn't burnt, the Princeton cheese was really dark, so they offered me a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was sickening, I didn't finish it. And then in the Dame Blanche (a dessert made with chocolate mousse), there's 90% whipped cream, 7% ice cream, and 3% chocolate. In short, not very good, I was still hungry.

05/10/2026: Set menu (starter, main course, dessert, and coffee) for €20. It was good – well-prepared – with fast, professional service and a warm welcome. I highly recommend it.
