17/05/2026: The wait was a bit long, but very good.

16/05/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. The service was cold and unfriendly, with the distinct impression that we were a nuisance. We were seated in a corner of the restaurant, almost crammed in, giving the impression that they were trying to minimize cleaning afterward. There were no suggestions or special attention from the staff. The tap water had a truly unpleasant taste and smell, to the point that we had to buy bottled water. Finally, bringing only three pieces of bread for a table of four pretty much sums up the lack of care shown to customers. The presentation of the dishes was also very poor and unappealing, which is particularly disappointing for an establishment of this caliber. The only positive point was the foie gras, which was good. Unfortunately, this wasn't enough to redeem the overall experience.

04/12/2025: For our first time, we loved both takeaway pizzas. The crust was delicious and crispy, the tomato sauce had just the right amount of garlic and flavor, and the other toppings were perfect. The price was more than reasonable! If we have the chance, we'll be back!

03/03/2026: We stopped there as a family just for a drink. I love this place, and the children do too. The owners are very kind, and so is their dog 😊. There's nothing to complain about, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. An idyllic setting at any time of year… The children loved being able to borrow straw hats; it's easy to access but not right next to the slope, so you can relax.

07/04/2026: Very warm welcome. Very friendly manager. Just a few minutes from the hotel you can take a lovely hike to discover the small and large Tendon waterfalls.

16/05/2026: After our first lunch there as a family of four, we returned for Ascension Thursday. Each time, we opted for the €28 set menus (starter/main course/dessert), always choosing the fish dishes (and, as a treat, adding 12 delicious oysters). Besides the warm welcome and attentive service, the portions were generous and the food was superb. When an item wasn't on the menu, the alternative dish was always a hit. Kudos to the kitchen! Highly recommended.

01/05/2026: It's getting worse and worse. It's not for lack of trying to choose dishes from the "must-haves" on the menu... a couscous without spices and a Thai dish with tasteless, bland chicken, in short, without flavor... a Thai dish from Picard would have had more flavor and would have cost us less.

13/04/2026: A very warm welcome, the setting is pleasant, though it could have been a bit warmer (a little chilly). There was a bit of a wait for the first course, but after that it was fine. It was delicious, with a modern twist on classic flavors. I would gladly return. Outdoor seating is available in the summer.

18/05/2026: Expensive, noisy, and with unfriendly service. I don't recommend this restaurant, which enjoys a sort of monopoly in Bois-Plage thanks to its location. It's very expensive for what it is. In season, I prefer the small tapas bar next door. There are more options in La Couarde.

28/02/2026: A warm welcome with a smile. Very generous portions, and we have hearty appetites. As big pasta lovers, we thoroughly enjoyed the original and delicious sauces. We also recommend the desserts: the chocolate or lemon mousse and the Scottish dessert, which are the perfect finishing touch. The service was very efficient, with a kind word or a joke. We'll be back!
