15/06/2026: Good location, staff generally warm and welcoming. Visited in June 2026. I'm a self-employed nurse in the town of Bègles and I wanted to buy a bottle of water during the heatwave between patients. I was charged €5 for a bottle of Perrier. Even at airports, it's not that priced. It's probably a case of taking advantage of the heatwave to inflate water prices... Too bad. I won't be going back.

06/12/2025: Rather disappointed; the main course and dessert were bland. The cod wasn't salty at all, and the tiramisu wasn't sweet at all.

23/06/2026: Discovered this restaurant by the lake. Inside, you can see several species of animals (ducks, geese, etc.) sitting. The food is good and the ingredients are high quality. The servers are friendly and professional. What's missing: However, I find the dishes rather expensive for the setting. I don't recall seeing a menu, but perhaps I missed it? The restaurant entrance needs to be clearly marked: If you don't know the way, it's easy to get lost (when you're in the parking lot, head towards the lake; the entrance is on the left between the bushes). I think I'll come back, but it will be very, very occasionally, given the price, which is a shame.

27/06/2026: A whopping 39° at 7 p.m. still. The place was full of people drinking and trying to cool off. The man behind the bar was very helpful.

16/06/2026: The food was OK but not exceptional. Very pricey for the quality. Large portions but the main gripe is that it’s FULL of tourists, mostly very loud Americans. Not the restaurants fault but not fun. Tables are so close that you can’t help but be involved in both tables either side of you.

15/06/2026: Our meal at Le Bon Georges was divine. My partner and I are in Paris for our anniversary, and we wanted to experience true Parisian dinning. No city in the world can compete with the restaurants of Paris. Le Bon Georges lives up to the reputation Parisian restaurants have earned. The front of house staff were extremely attentive, and helpful in guiding you through the menu and wine selection. We had the Filet de boeuf Normand and Mousse au chocolat à partager. The filet de boeuf was exquisiste, and the mousse au chocolat a real joy to experience. I cannot recommend le bon georges strongly enough, it was the meal of a lifetime! However, you must ensure to book well in advance.

19/04/2026: A fantastic place during our week in Lans. We went back three times! Fresh produce, a delicious menu, a very friendly welcome, and a view of the paragliders! Highly recommended for a lovely, convivial time.

15/07/2026: We came for a World Cup match, booked online. On their Instagram they'd advertised a red, white, and blue cocktail… but when we got there: nothing at all 🤷‍♂️ Not a single mention. The service was complicated: there were only three of them for everyone, so we had a long wait between courses and drinks ⏳ Starter: deviled eggs… only one egg while other tables had one and a half 🤨 Not great. The frog legs were huge, but there were only four of them, and the meat was a bit small. Overall, it was okay, nothing special 🍽️ The atmosphere wasn't anything special. Thanks anyway to the waitress who was super nice 🙏 Regarding the match: we had to ask them to turn up the volume, and they didn't turn off the restaurant's music... so music + commentary = not great 😒 They advertise the match, but in the end, we felt we would have been better off going somewhere else. The food was decent enough, but nothing special, and the atmosphere was just okay. A shame 😕

12/07/2026: We had lunch with a friend who wasn't feeling well. The service was impeccable, and the food was very well looked after. I would recommend it.

27/04/2026: A fantastic find in the 14th arrondissement! A neighborhood restaurant with delicious homemade food in a charming setting. The menu changes daily and features seasonal ingredients. We highly recommend the dessert bar!! 🫢

04/07/2026: While strolling through the Passage des Panoramas between Boulevard Montmartre and Rue Saint-Marc, we stumbled upon Bistro Coinstot Vino in a side alley (Galerie Montmartre; there are three more) of this wonderful passage and decided to stop for a short break—which turned into a long evening! A quick coffee became a glass of wine, then hunger struck, and we indulged in a delicious pizza. The glass of wine became a bottle of white wine recommended by the waiter, and the brief respite turned into a delightful stay. A wonderful ambiance, removed from the outside world, a pleasant atmosphere—Coinstot Vino invites you to forget time and everyday life; you're very reluctant to leave! We hope to be back soon!
