14/06/2026: We were a group of 11. We came one day after our reservation (mistake from my side). The restaurant was able to help us and prepare a table for 11 on the spot. No complain about our no show the day before. They were happy to help us. The food was very good. People enjoyed fois gras, I loved my poched egg in Chaource creamy sauce. Many choose the duck burger and compliment it. Several chose pain perdu as dessert and it was their first time, they liked it a lot. We had the restaurant champagne, good ratio price/ quality .Service was really nice, easy going but professional. Toilets were clean and the cellar looks very good. There was no long waiting time. 11 persons (unexpected) and all took à la carte. Impressed. Thanks. I will come back.

12/06/2026: Excellent experience! My father and I came for dinner without a reservation and were greeted with a smile. Sophie was absolutely perfect: attentive, professional, and very pleasant. As for the food, it was a real treat: the risotto and the duck confit burger were delicious. This trip to Épernay was flawless from start to finish. A big thank you and congratulations to the entire team for their warm welcome and the quality of their work. We highly recommend this restaurant! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

03/07/2026: Huge disappointment… dinner for our wedding anniversary, having informed us in advance about a food intolerance… and what do they bring me as soon as I start? This food I can't tolerate! A complete lack of consideration and willingness to adapt. No apology, not even an alternative suggestion… not what you'd expect from a gourmet restaurant!

30/06/2026: A €68 menu that seems frozen in time. From the amuse-bouche, we could see the problem: a tasteless gazpacho, a soggy tomato chip, and carrots boiled in unsalted water. The coconut blancmange was simply presented. Their website promises a "timeless experience," and it certainly is, but not in the way we expected. Textures were muted, seasonings timid, and there was no signature touch. At this price, one expects refined and flavorful cuisine. Unfortunately, I think that when a chef forgets why they cook, the dish tells the story better than they ever could. As for the service, it lacked the finesse one would expect at this price point. I'm writing this review because the waiter never once asked us if we had enjoyed our evening… What a shame.

The meal was excellent and of high quality. I immigrated to the Paris region where it's rare to find welcoming people in restaurants... At L'Enfant du Pays, I felt the kindness of the miners' families... my childhood. Thank you to the owners.

16/06/2026: They asked for bread twice, we said it happens, but eating a Strasbourg salad without bread was a real shame. The head waiter and waiter weren't up to scratch. It's a pity. They even lacked water glasses on the table! My partner asked for a water glass (there were three of us at the table) and she brought one!

09/07/2026: Huge disappointment... I've been coming here for years... and now... The concept has completely changed... Drinks not included... Slow service... My wife and I were served at different times, so we ate one after the other... She ordered a gourmet hot chocolate, but they only brought her one chocolate... Then they told her that it would only be the chocolate after all... In the end, the food was worse, the service was worse, and we paid much more with the drinks... I'm going to find another restaurant...

12/12/2025: The entree of the day was a fish soup which was the best we had ever had! And the fish of the day (redfish) was so delicious and paired with a great mashed sweet potato. Also amazing mussels that you can have prepared a couple of different ways - so amazing! Loved everything about the food and this restaurant!

07/12/2025: A wonderful experience at Seulement Sea in the 6th arrondissement. We started with a beetroot carpaccio, fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly balanced—a simple yet very successful starter. For our main course, the scallops were excellent: perfectly cooked, very fresh, and with delicate, expertly prepared flavors. The service is pleasant and attentive, and the friendly atmosphere makes you want to return. A truly great place for seafood lovers, which I recommend without hesitation.
