08/06/2025: This establishment was a wonderful discovery for us, who were just passing through to explore the historic sites of Verdun. The cuisine is refined and carefully prepared. The vegetables are to die for, a welcome change from the usual fries and rice. The gourmet coffee is very delicious, and the crème brûlée is very creamy. We were warmly welcomed, and the decor is quite pleasant. I recommend this unassuming establishment, located on the roadside in the hills above Verdun. Go there with your eyes closed.

19/01/2026: Staying at the hotel, we decided to have dinner at the restaurant. We were delighted with our choice as we had a wonderful evening. A big thank you to Anthony, our waiter for the evening, who was very pleasant and always smiling. The food was delicious and a nice change from what we usually eat. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant. We highly recommend it!

08/12/2024: Fast food of very good quality, also open on Sundays and there is a choice. We were very well received despite the fact that the manager had to resolve a problem with a group of around ten people who were visibly surly and in bad faith. In business as in life, respect is reciprocal and I have the feeling that the “goodwill” that appeared during Covid is only a distant memory. So this place is, for my wife and me, a place to remember.

10/11/2024: To avoid, or as a last resort. The prices charged (11€ for a complete pancake, neither very good nor copious, the green salad supplement at 2€50) are completely out of sync with the quality of the food and the place: large plates, tables that stick and above all a large hood problem. The room is filled with a thick smell of burning grease. The service is ok. We were with a small child who was hungry so no choice, otherwise we would have left.

08/12/2025: A café just steps from Bercy, you can stop by for a meal or just a coffee. That's what I did: a quick break after a stroll through Paris, a simple and satisfying long coffee. There's a large terrace which must be lovely and packed in the summer! Worth a try if you're ever in the area!

10/10/2025: Chez Bob – Great food, but the service could be more attentive The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the food was really good – the pizza was delicious and the drinks were great too. Unfortunately, the overall experience was let down by the service. The cutlery wasn’t polished and had some spots, which felt a bit unprofessional. During our visit, three different waiters served our table, which made things a bit confusing. Between courses, we waited around 20 minutes before anyone asked if we wanted more drinks – I expected a bit more attention and care from the staff. When we asked for the bill, the waiter brought it and left, and we waited another 15 minutes before we could actually pay. To sum it up: great food, nice place, but the service needs improvement. With a bit more attention to guests, it could be an excellent dining experience.

05/10/2025: What a treat! All day food service - definitely not the norm in France in October - fantastic food and outstanding service from friendly and professional staff. We loved this restaurant and its amazing setting. Highly recommended.
