07/12/2024: After playing at the Théâtre à l'Ouest next door, we came to dinner at Carlotta.
Warm welcome from the owner.
Very attentive service.
A dozen oysters and a glass of Chardonay to start the meal off right.
The setting is chic and cozy. The Carlotta is a very pleasant brasserie and the dishes are tasteful.
This evening, we're going back: I'm going to taste my Tripes, "Tripière d'Or 2024" :)
23/11/2024: Le Carlotta, brasserie réputée sur les quais à Caen, à la déco désuète , nous a vraiment déçus. Rien n’était franchement mauvais mais rien n’était non plus franchement bon: de la brasserie classique sans le petit twist qui te donne envie de revenir. Si l’on excepte les tripes, les autres plats manquaient de générosité. En revanche la générosité se retrouve sur l’addition, bien plus assaisonnée que certains de nos plats.

04/09/2024: We arrived before noon and told the waitress we were back to work at 1 p.m. There were 5 of us, 4 of whom had the daily menu. A decent starter, dry fish with tasteless vegetables. A hamburger with slices of meat and not ground steak....
Result, 1:15 p.m. still no dessert. We paid without having dessert and no commercial gesture.
Big disappointment.
30/08/2024: Very good food, good setting, the gentleman who served us very professional, I regret for personal reasons not having kept my word to return there before leaving but I will come back!!!

08/09/2024: Superb setting and restaurant that lives up to its menus. Everything is perfect, the flavor of the food delights your taste buds. Sublime... We had a wonderful evening for our wedding anniversary.
Bravo to the chef and his team!

20/08/2024: Small holiday village where you feel good, don't come looking for modernity but more tranquility. Swimming pool, trampoline, inflatable games are there for children and the proximity to lots of towns and villages offer a multitude of entertainment, flavors, tastings. The village restaurant is also a great place for lunch or dinner on the terrace!
02/08/2024: Good restaurant with simple cuisine. The only downside is the children's meal at €12 with an industrial cordon bleu and the desert compote which is a gourd to drink drunk.
Otherwise a nice restaurant with a guinguette effect on the water's edge.

Very decent lunch today, good value for money. Far from the negative opinions that we don't understand. We appreciated it.
23/09/2024: A discovery after the Auray Vannes, taking an order with a waiter who was a little dry despite a prior reservation for a table of 8, two other people serving rather helpful and pleasant, but when the bill came, a certain annoyance about paying our respective shares. We will not come back and if you do not like this job, Mr. Change! Customers pay for a meal about which we had nothing to say (well done, the kitchen) but also for a service.

Everything seems to be homemade, we ate very well. The tapas were good, as were our burgers. It was a quiet evening, the service was very efficient and friendly. The view is not extraordinary: a road on one side and warehouse roofs on the other.

Servizio di classe, cucina meravigliosa (ci sarà mica lo zampino di qualche italiano?), piatti curati, ricercati e dai gusti raffinati.
Tanti complimenti davvero alla chef, che abbiamo avuto l’onore di conoscere, per la creazione di questi piatti, e a tutto il suo staff.

30/07/2024: Floppy turd. Had a great meal here several times for a lot of money. It is closed on Mondays and you can eat at the kebab farmer on the corner. And then the gentleman thinks that the parking lot of the super-u suddenly belongs to him. Stumper. This was the last time I spent 1 euro with that man. Don't bother putting these kinds of notes behind windows when you're closed. And that in a public parking lot
