23/09/2026: We had a good time at lunchtime. Just one small complaint: my dessert, the duo of crepes, wasn't cooked enough. The service was excellent.

17/09/2026: All good, location very good and not too crowded service efficient and friendly. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who’d like to eat in surroundings not swamped by crowds of tourists.

11/08/2026: We went to the restaurant by chance before leaving and I have to admit, their pizza was different from classic pizza, thin dough, great taste and a very good white Chardonnay, light, fresh, fruity, but definitely not bitter.

04/10/2026: Sunday meal. For €42 for the set menu, steer clear. The buffet [starter, main course, cheese, and dessert] is appallingly mediocre. It would be worth, at best, a weekday meal for around twenty euros.

07/09/2026: I have traveled all over the world, including in Japan (several times). This little place is one of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever eaten at. If you come for lunch just order the bento box or what they call the selection of the chef. And you will be amazed by the standard of this chef who is a diplomat of the Academie Culinaire de France. This is one of a handful of restaurants that are simply engraved in my memory of Paris, a place I travel to fairly often. It's a really tiny place. Maybe they could have 12 people or 15 people at one time.

04/08/2026: We only ordered cocktails. The experience was decent, but nothing exceptional. The staff was inconsistent, some very friendly, others less so. The space was quite cramped and the tables were very close together, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Overall, a mixed experience.

08/09/2026: A fantastic find! A warm and welcoming atmosphere, with special attention paid to assisting us, as I was accompanied by someone using a cane. A friendly, family atmosphere where you can't help but feel at ease. I really enjoyed the self-service concept, with the main course served directly by the chef: slow-cooked, generous, and delicious. The value for money, the lovely terrace overlooking the Place d'Armes, and the charming interior are real pluses. Everything makes you want to come back! 😊 Thank you to the whole team!

21/10/2026: We arrived at noon and didn't get home until 1:20 PM. The head waitress was incredibly unpleasant and haughty, as was her young waiter. I've been coming to this restaurant for 30 years, and this is the first time we've been treated like dirt. We won't be back.

21/10/2026: Bugs in salad which leads to questions regarding the hygiene standards of this restaurant. When I informed the waitress, she was not concerned.

01/10/2026: The Grand Tigre was closed for a private event, but we were still welcomed even before the official opening time. We ordered delicious tarte flambée, and the children enjoyed homemade, fresh mashed potatoes. A big hit with our kids was the retro arcade game at the entrance, where they could play for free. The atmosphere in the Grand Tigre is a bit more inviting, while the Petit Tigre stands out with its cool lighting and bar-like ambiance.
