17/01/2026: Everything was perfect 👌 Attentive service. Excellent meal and the restaurant's interior was nice and warm. I really appreciated this, as it's very rare in this area to be able to stay warm inside a restaurant or bar.

20/12/2025: The cafe is currently closed, but this wasn't indicated on Google Maps, and their online booking site was still active, so we had reserved a table and discovered the storefront was under construction when we arrived...

16/12/2025: This place is closed for renovations, which we noticed when we arrived at the restaurant. However, it's listed as open on Google, and we had a reservation—they even sent a booking confirmation by email. Very frustrating.

29/11/2025: A restaurant with refined menus, average price €30, tables set with a vintage feel, especially the glassware. The decor isn't very welcoming. The chef's approach is excellent.

04/11/2025: The place is very cozy and the food is very good. The presentation is also excellent. The waiter is very friendly. I even discovered a really good hot sauce. Just one small drawback: the kitchen noises are a little noticeable!

11/10/2025: Excellent food... but a hefty bill!... after choosing the daily specials without asking the prices (a mistake), I discovered that the mushroom starter was charged at €40 and the scallop dish at €80.... Prices not in line with the rest of the menu.... Add to that the fact that there was no one in the room (perhaps others have already tried the specials).... But excellent food

05/02/2026: Impeccable, everything was perfect. I'm a roofer in Alsace (Elsass Rénov) and I was there with my workers; we really enjoyed the restaurant. I stayed one night with my wife and again, impeccable, don't change a thing! 🙂

05/02/2026: A wonderful welcome from the moment we arrived. The valet parked our car in the hotel's private parking lot and explained the history of the Witches' and Thieves' Tower. 🙂 They even took our luggage to our room. The receptionists were all smiles. The hunting-themed decor in the entrance was lovely and very pretty. The room was spotless, clean, and spacious, with a balcony offering a magnificent view of the tower. We ate in the Winstub (Alsatian wine bar), and what a treat! The venison was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, simply perfect. The service was quick and the staff friendly—nothing to complain about! Breakfast in our room was generous and very good. Thank you for the jar of jam and the kugelhopf; we will gladly return!

27/06/2025: Edit- came back a year later and it is still amazing. Had the frogs legs, beef bourguignon, crème brûlée and a bottle of broully. Love this place! Sat outside for dinner. Started with some Escargot which was delicious. My main was Bouef Bourguignon which was fantastic! I finished with the Crème Brulé which was perfect. All washed down with some incredible french wines. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. Merci.

02/12/2025: It's never been closed, contrary to what Maps says. The kitchen is temporarily closed, but the bar remains open. Clean place, good service, and a good atmosphere. Maybe the best café in the area.

31/10/2025: How can this restaurant have such high ratings? The food is simply bland, the premises are dirty...in short, never again, especially at this price.

15/12/2024: We reserved the annex for a farewell drink, everything was perfect and the Stendhal team took great care all evening. A very big thank you to Quentin who was great!!!! The address convinced all the guests. Attractive prices, calm or lively as desired, and everything was of very good quality!!
