02/07/2026: A fantastic restaurant right on the promenade with a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful sea views. The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was excellent. I especially recommend the fish dishes and fresh seafood. The atmosphere at sunset is simply perfect.

03/07/2026: Plates overloaded, not good: overcooked and cold ribeye steak accompanied by soggy, dark brown fries, an artificially flavored truffle sauce, leg of lamb burning hot on the outside and cold on the inside (apparently reheated in the microwave), same as before for the fries, salmon tartare made of cubes of salmon piled on slices of bread covered with mashed avocado (inedible)

10/05/2026: Unfortunately, there's not much positive to say about this establishment… very, very disappointed and very expensive for what's offered. The food: Two set menus are offered, one at €30 and the other at €50 for a starter, main course, and dessert. €5 less if you order a starter and main course or a main course and dessert. We chose the €30 menu and the €50 menu. The foie gras starter on the €50 menu was practically nonexistent: three tiny pieces barely vying for attention on the plate, and the quality was barely acceptable. The main course on the €50 menu, a beef Rossini, featured a mediocre cut of beef—tasteless, tough, and full of gristle. The foie gras on top was probably not foie gras. The side dishes were shameful in terms of quantity and lacked any special character. The €30 menu is unfortunately no better. You have to search for the cheese and potatoes in the starter, and the quality of the chicken in the main course is deplorable. We decided to order just one dessert, to savor every last bite and try to salvage the experience. The "café gourmand" (a selection of small pastries served with coffee) consisted of petit fours. We've never eaten anything so bad… it makes you wonder if the ingredients were even good anymore. The shortbread was definitely several days old and made with rancid butter. The atmosphere: Rather frosty when we were coldly informed that there was no children's menu and that "here, children eat like adults." At four years old, whether it's lemon chicken or beef Rossini, no, children don't eat that. And certainly not at the menu prices. They agreed to prepare half a plate of salmon crumble, which was simply placed on a plate, without sauce, without any flavor… It cost €10. From our perspective, children are not welcome. Nothing serious, but it needs to be said. In terms of comfort, many of the tables have a bar at shin level. This makes it impossible to pull up a chair and put your legs under the table. The owners may never have realized this, but it's a shame to eat in such an awkward position. Another minor drawback was the very noisy dining room. When it came time to pay, the bill was very expensive for what we received on our plates and the service. This was especially true when we were charged for a full menu when it was supposed to be a starter and main course. Unfortunately, we can't give this experience more than one star and will not be returning to this establishment. In response to the establishment's review: The response unfortunately demonstrates the establishment's lack of self-reflection. What is described above is factual. When something is good, you say so, and when it isn't, you say so too. Spending such a large sum in a restaurant only to have a bad experience is truly a shame and should be mentioned. We're not competitors, not even from the restaurant industry. However, we are bon vivants, good eaters, and appreciate fresh produce. Unfortunately, no one asked us how the meal went; we would have been happy to share our opinion with you in person.

25/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent experience at Chez Ta Mère - Meuris in Nantes! We were a group of 12, and despite arriving 30 minutes late, everything went very smoothly. A huge thank you to Jon, our server, who was absolutely fantastic. Despite the heat, our group's sometimes overflowing "good" humor, and a few moments of impatience, he managed us with professionalism, calm, and a smile from beginning to end. The menu is relatively small, but the dishes offered are very satisfying and of high quality. I chose a beef carpaccio with an extra layer of burrata: a very fresh dish, full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. I finished with a delicious homemade Nantes cake, accompanied by a pint of beer. Everything was served quickly, which is particularly appreciated for a group of our size. We all left very satisfied. I highly recommend it and I will gladly return!

26/06/2026: In the middle of a heatwave, after two hours at the beach, we enjoyed a delicious and generous Parisian salad, very pleasant service, and a very generous gourmet coffee. A wonderful first experience, one we'll definitely repeat, especially since the beach is so close and we went back again and again. I highly recommend it.

17/05/2026: A very charming and well-kept place, with a pleasant terrace surrounded by greenery and a very relaxing atmosphere. The service was friendly and attentive. The dishes were delicious and well-presented. Overall, a pleasant experience in a beautiful location in the Vence area.

05/07/2026: Fresh juice and food were very good. I had the ACE juice, which I believe was carrot, orange, and lime. It was refreshing. The burrata and tomato salad was also very good and came with breadsticks and bread on the side. Service felt rushed. We were not even halfway through the salad when it felt like the table was being hurried along. There was also a billing issue. We were charged more than what we ordered. It was corrected, but the waiter gave us €10 from his own wallet, which felt awkward. Good food and drinks, but the service could have been smoother.
