Merci à la serveuse très souriante et très professionnelle, merci au patron pour son humour ( Maman est contente d avoir soufflé la bougie de ses 90 printemp). Merci aussi à la patronne pour son accueil chaleureux.
Le repas de l apéritif au café un régal pour les papilles.

05/09/2024: A lovely stop on our canal trip. Moored up in Jarnac (and drove 3 min; could have walked 18 min). Welcoming and jolly service. Abundant amuse bouche. Main courses of familiar ingredients but great originality. Deserts outstanding. Interesting and extensive wine list. Amazing range of cognacs. Excellent service and atmosphere. Enjoyed watching the chef through the window up a few stairs. Highly recommend!

22/08/2024: Tout le monde autour de moi me recommandait d'y aller. Nous étions à l'exterieur, ce petit jardin est d'une grande douceur. Les mets sont succulents, une cuisine qui fait plaisir aux sens. Je comprends mieux l'engouement autour de ce resto maintenant !

Precision: Really good time, the rating of 5 is adapted to the place, it's not revolutionary cuisine but for a coffee it's excellent.

Tout est médiocre arrivés à 12 h 30 nous sommes repartis à 14 h 15.

Trés bon rapport qualité prix par rapport aux restaurants du reste de la ville... cela merite vraiment de mettre quelques euros de plus à son addition et d'avoir le plaisir de cette expérience culinaire dans ce bel endroit et son magnifique jardin
17/08/2024: We've stayed and/or eaten at La Mirande many times over the past 15-20 years, and this was the worst meal we have ever had, and the most expensive. No choice, apart from stating what we didn't want or like, and even that wasn't followed. One single St. Jaques, absolutely nothing special. Several mackerel, a totally un-nobel fish. Several individual plates which were good. The crab dish was exceptional, and the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately we were given the pork dish which has a sauce made from pigs blood, and I specifically stated that I did not want that dish (I had read about it before). Deserts were OK, The wine was faire. Years ago they always had exceptional wines by the glass. No longer true. On our next visit, we'll either eat downstairs or in the bar. Never again will I eat in the restaurant until they either change the chef or the menu.

10/08/2024: We celebrated my daughter's baptism at La Noria, a restaurant that we had chosen for its magnificent setting. The managers were perfectly attentive to our expectations and everyone had a delicious time. The dishes were appreciated and the atmosphere was very warm.
I therefore recommend this place both for private or professional events as well as for a family lunch, because children are very well received there.
25/07/2024: We went to celebrate my father-in-law's 99th birthday, we had a great time with the family, we had a table prepared in the shade accessible by wheelchair...for dessert he was treated to a rocket and a “happy birthday” sung and repeated by everyone... Very successful outing... he was very happy.... thank you very much...

30/08/2024: I had fun! Lots of positive reviews, two negative reviews, so we came with some apprehension. With the aperitif, a free verrine, more than enough quantity for two. A steak tartare like I've never had before, delicious! 😋 Monsieur has chosen his piece of meat, perfectly cooked 👌 we will come back! On the other hand, if Google asked me my opinion on The chestnut trees, it's no longer called that!
27/08/2024: Very beautiful shaded terrace, very welcoming staff and a trout fillet to die for. In short, a real good address away from the sometimes too touristy route.
