08/10/2026: A wonderful cruise, perfect service, excellent meal – we had a fantastic afternoon, we'd love to do it again!

25/09/2026: A wonderful 3-hour boat trip on the Sèvre Niortaise river, from Danvix to Marans. Enjoy a delicious lunch on board. In short, the meal was excellent, the scenery magnificent, the staff very pleasant, and the captain's commentary on the history of the marsh was fantastic. I highly recommend this trip.

27/09/2026: Very disappointed with this visit... The organization and service need a complete overhaul. The wait was ENDLESS and the staff were INATTENTIVE. Overall, a very poor experience; I do not recommend it.

23/09/2026: Edit: I went back during the street fair. Small and very basic menu. Exorbitant prices. A charcuterie board of "Lidl" quality. A bottle of rosé (barely drinkable) for €30 (THIRTY!) and served warm! And they admit it: "We don't have any chilled because we don't sell it." THEN DON'T SELL IT! Slow, slow, slow service even though the restaurant wasn't full. ALMOST A RIP-OFF. DISAPPOINTMENT. I FELT LIKE I'D BEEN RIPPED OFF. I won't be going back. Discovered by chance when my daughter, a new student in Lille, was settling in. A great find with good, tasty, and generous dishes, cooked with fresh ingredients. Plus, friendly service and reasonable prices. We recommend it 100%.

15/06/2026: We were very pleasantly surprised by this lovely hotel. The welcome was very friendly. And the food? A real treat! Delicious homemade dishes, and you can taste the difference. The chef was attentive to his guests. We will definitely return to this hotel.

18/05/2026: An idyllic setting for relaxation. A renovated old mill nestled in a verdant setting with a small stream. Easy parking right next door. Beautifully decorated interior, from the bedroom to the dining room. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Very comfortable bedding. Impeccably clean. The evening and night were peaceful and restful, especially without the noise of children shouting and running around! The hotel is reserved for adults only, and it's wonderful to be able to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, especially after the hustle and bustle of Beauval Zoo! On-site dining options include a continental breakfast and a delicious dinner. A big thank you to Julien and Émilie for their warm welcome.

Besides the restaurant itself, there's also Kathia and Jean-Luc, without whom the restaurant wouldn't have the same prestige. The food is impeccable, delicious, and unpretentious, simply served with care, just like at home. 21/04/2026: A very pleasant short stay thanks to the warm welcome, cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, and sea view (when you arrive early enough to enjoy it ;-D). I will gladly return to this small hotel just steps from the sea and the beach. Affordable prices and a very friendly staff.

10/05/2026: We have enjoyed an excellent lunch on Sunday. The ceazar salad is recommended as is the fish gratin. The menu is great value and the food is very good, freshly prepared and simply delicious. The service is attentive, friendly and efficient. Booking the table was easy and this restaurant bistro is comfortable, clean and not to be missed.

20/10/2026: I celebrated my birthday there; we booked the entire venue. The meal was delicious. The staff stayed on-site all evening to serve us. They were very friendly and accommodating to our various requests. We had a wonderful evening in a lovely setting.

09/10/2026: Discovered the restaurant today since the change of ownership. It's very good value for money. There's plenty of space and the service is impeccable. The buffet of starters and desserts is varied and well-presented with a wide selection. Since I don't usually eat dessert, I was offered a cheese platter. Thank you. The lunch menu is very good. Note: It would be nice to have a list of aperitifs and wines 🍷 (which aren't included in the set menu) or a QR code to access them.
