18/09/2026: Visited on August 2nd, with my wife and 2 young children. Nice atmosphere, some very good food. However we were overcharged. Firstly, they brought us an additional, third, starter which we did not believe we had ordered. We did raise this immediately, but there seemed to be some confusion, so to avoid any awkwardness we let this go. We enjoyed the rest of our meal and I paid the bill, including the additional starter. Only the next day did I realise that we had been charged for three 'three course' menus and one 'one course' menu - a total of 11 dishes. Even with the additional starter (which we did not order) we only had 10 dishes. By this point it was of course too late to raise this with the restaurant. I'm sure this was an honest mistake on the part of the restaurant, but the difference between the 9 dishes we ordered, and the 11 dishes we were charged for was 22 euros. I would recommend the food, but can only advise other visitors to check their final bill carefully. A shame.

04/09/2026: The restaurant's summer location, nestled between the canal and the Baise River, sheltered by centuries-old oak trees, is exceptional. The food has always been of the highest culinary quality. The service is excellent, with waiters and waitresses who are incredibly kind and attentive, even when they are very busy...it was a great pleasure to return to this place of my childhood and enjoy this wonderful moment! A thousand thanks to you all!

29/08/2026: This summer (2026), the restaurant is moving to Île aux Bateaux, a charming spot by the water, and the dishes are generous and delicious. Don't hesitate to stop by if you're in the area.

30/09/2026: Large, rather noisy back room. Nice tarte flambée, quite large and well-topped.

04/10/2026: If you accept the waiter for who he is, he can actually be really nice. At first I thought, "How gruff is he?", but as mentioned above, you have to accept him as he is. In the end, he was really nice and told us a bit about the mill and the restaurant. 👍👍👍👍 We'll definitely be back.

14/09/2026: Excellent welcome, recently renovated establishment, perfect room for families (two separate rooms connected by the bathroom) and very quiet. Dinner at the restaurant was very good and breakfast was very generous with plenty of choice. There are walks around the inn, and if you're stuck for ideas, just ask Véronique, who kindly gave us some suggestions. We will be back!

05/08/2026: Nice, clean and friendly bakery/cafe - coffee was great, the pain au chocolat fresh and tasty … with some wraps / sandwiches as a slightly more filling option, it was perfect for a short afternoon snack stop!

29/07/2026: The croissants were a dream, and the lemon tart was simply divine!

29/09/2026: A great range of beers (at the pump and bottled). The charcuterie board was delicious. Good advice from the staff regarding the beers.

27/09/2026: A very warm welcome, excellent explanations, and a delicious meal, top-notch, just like in a 5-star restaurant. Fast service. All the staff are incredibly attentive. We will definitely return. Extremely satisfied. A special thank you to the cooks. Don't change a thing, you're amazing!

25/08/2026: We've been coming here for five years. A superb Savoyard chalet, beautifully decorated. The food is excellent and plentiful. We all work together as a family, in a very thoughtful way. Even the handsome blue-eyed dog gives it his all. Occasionally there are rock concerts and the lovely cat meowing from the balcony ;) The good life.

30/08/2026: Very nice restaurant, no hot food served in September when we were there, super cozy, good food, beautiful platters, very good for children who can also catch trout there, which can then be bought by the kilogram

29/05/2026: Exactly what you'd expect from a brasserie :) Quick service, salad and main course in 30 minutes. The meat was incredibly good, and the mashed potatoes were homemade. Simply perfect 👍 For only 20 euros, sublime 😍
