10/09/2024: Superb place right in the center. There is a family spirit and a lot of calm there. The rooms are spacious and the view of the park is very pleasant. The welcome and service are focused on customer well-being. Our little dog was accepted which is very important to us. The meals are refined and full of pleasant surprises. 09/09/2024: Great unforgettable evening for my mother-in-law's birthday. Our waitress took great care with perfect knowledge of the menu, small candle and music for dessert. From the aperitif to the dessert everything was excellent.

30/07/2024: +20 years of experience with zero professionalism in customer service. This restaurant owner was rude and treated me like untouchable throughout the few minutes in the restaurant. When I arrived at the restaurant, the restaurateur refused my request for a few tables even though there were some available, and this for no good reason. When I asked him why he couldn't place us at the tables that were free and not reserved he replied that he wanted to keep them in case others would arrive. That said, he chose to refuse a secure client and forgo this income simply because he wanted to do it that way. I felt that he was prejudiced against me and what's more, he didn't even make an effort to hide it. I quickly lost my appetite for eating at this place but I wanted to make him understand that his behavior was not in the right direction of a business that derives its future from welcoming and pleasing customers. I spoke to him about this fact, and unsurprisingly he was incorrigible in his attitude and he even went so far as to say that he was happy that I was going somewhere else. Which is easy to do because the village square is surrounded by other restaurants. Going elsewhere didn't bother me in the slightest and I was pleasantly welcomed just a few steps from this restaurant. But for the principle of cause and effect of customer service I leave this customer review. Prospective clients should know about my experience and they don't deserve this same treatment. Although this restaurateur has years in this type of industry, what he didn't know is that I too spent years in this same industry and what's more, I ate in a myriad of restaurants around the world. I know well, not only the restaurant world but also customer service, what should be done and what is unacceptable. The treatment at this establishment was inexcusable. If you have the choice I advise you to look elsewhere to eat when in Villard de Lans.

11/07/2024: A pure moment of delight with my husband. Fresh products, sublimely prepared by LA CHEFFE. The rillette is a pure sweetness in the mouth, and the dishes are a treat. Without hesitation we will come back to enjoy your terrace and your warm and smiling welcome. Many thanks for everything See you soon Julie

27/08/2024: We stayed there for 2 nights as a family of 3 in a double room with a double bed and 2 small ones (our daughter was also very happy to have her room). The welcome was impeccable, the room was clean, we were told afterwards that it was the oldest, but it wasn't really obvious. We were there for the last service before the holidays, so we had the "leftovers" but they were very good, homemade terrine that I would have liked to take home :D and smoked salmon as a starter. Whole duck breast with mashed potatoes on the main course, unfortunately no more room for dessert, we even had a commercial gesture even though we hadn't asked for anything. We had an excellent stay and if we have the opportunity to return to the area, we will without hesitation return to the Odyssée Champêtre

22/08/2024: A very good restaurant, perfectly measured and homemade dishes! A varied menu with good French products, Fast and very professional service. A very beautiful decoration and I will come back with pleasure! Beautiful and comfortable rooms. If you pass by, stop and enjoy!

16/12/2024: Couscous "Caïd " copieux et bon et couscous poulet impeccable. Serveuse amusante et bon enfant. Le hasard de nos pérégrinations nous ont conduit là et nous ne le regrettons pas du tout. Crème renversée maison et mousse au chocolat maison. Très bien pour 65 € avec 1/2 de Koutoubia et 1/4 vin blanc. On y retournera...

31/08/2024: Manoir exceptionnel, on se croirait au moyen-âge en pleine campagne. Le calme du site est vraiment un atout. La chambre était petite mais confortable. Dommage que le temps ne fût pas au rendez-vous pourtant au mois d'Août il y avait même la cheminée du restaurant allumée le soir !! Nous y sommes restés 5 jours malheureusement le menu dit "du jour" s'est avéré être le menu de la semaine. Cependant la nourriture était de qualité mais en petite quantité et pas donné.

08/08/2024: I stayed in this very particular hotel, surrounded by the greenery of Brittany, in the month of August (2024) during a motorbike trip to Brittany and Normandy in the company of friends. In the evening we were guests of the hotel restaurant and I must say pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes offered. The kindness and preparation of the floor manager, Jolande, characterized the evening. Prices appropriate to the quality offered. I highly recommend!
