12/10/2025: A wonderful experience, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

06/10/2025: We came to this restaurant for dinner tonight, usually staying at the Auberge Bressane, which is unfortunately closed today. So we tried their neighbor. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was rather cold: the waiter didn't give us our menus right away, and when he did, he neglected to give us the cheapest menu (€30), which seemed a bit awkward. I ordered frogs, a dish I particularly like, but they were overseasoned for my taste, which completely masked the flavor. For dessert, I chose a chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream, but the latter was unfortunately bland. We left disappointed with the experience, both in terms of the service and the food.

19/12/2025: December 19th, A little "New Year's Eve" meal in advance! Pure bliss... Everything was top-notch from the starter to the dessert, and I have to give an extra compliment for the crosnes that accompanied the wild boar stew, I hadn't eaten them for 50 years and the service was as pleasant as ever!

04/02/2026: Very dissatisfied with the service offered... They claim to have someone available on Wednesday afternoons to sell toll transponders... I called twice to make sure someone would be there, and both times I was told yes, but no one was there either time...

23/10/2025: Poor value for money. Classic at gourmet prices. 3 defrosted chouquettes with Camembert for 13 euros. If only they could work on the flavors... then frozen steak and fries for 21 euros. So 34 euros for a steak and fries and 3 chouquettes with Camembert... in short, there are much better options at the same price within 20 km.

27/01/2026: Superb restaurant, quiet, clean, beautiful view. The food is fresh and delicious. Pleasant and fast service! In fact, we've been going here exclusively for years! But that was before. We came this week (January 2026) and were very disappointed! I'm taking away two stars! First of all, it was very cold in the restaurant; we ate in our down jackets. The fish and chips tasted processed, the filet mignon with mustard sauce had tough meat, and the pizza was okay. Fortunately, the service is still friendly.

27/01/2026: Shameful! We made a reservation at 9:00 AM for 2:00 PM for eight people at this restaurant! We arrived around 1:15 PM for a drink on the terrace. At 1:45 PM, we went to ask if our table was ready, and the owner clearly told us to get lost, saying, "2:00 PM is 2:00 PM!" We returned 15 minutes later, and the table wasn't ready! We waited 40 minutes standing up until a table became available. The waitress repeatedly told me that she was taking payment for a table and that as soon as the other customers left, she would set the table for us. The other customers left, and it should have been our turn, but the owner decided otherwise and sent in a so-called "Eric" whom he must have known! Unacceptable! So we left because we hate being treated like fools! I do not recommend this place! The staff is appalling and dishonest! We wasted an hour and a half of our time instead of skiing, with an already quite expensive lift pass! First time I've ever left a negative review, but it's well deserved!

26/09/2025: Nothing to complain about for this beautiful address in the heart of La Ferté-Gaucher, where parking is easy. The owners know how to serve you discreetly and with a smile, not to mention my superb, very clean and very comfortable room. So, I'm 100% satisfied with the address. Christophe,

21/11/2025: Very friendly staff! A beautiful green setting with hiking trails starting nearby. Homemade meals. Lovely setting: an old mill with a preserved waterwheel in the guest room area.

30/09/2025: Hotel side. A good night in a nice room. Inn in a lovely green setting. Good breakfast.

10/11/2025: Hotel well located, however the room was cramped, in need of renovation, and the breakfast was terrible!

02/02/2026: I want to thank La Colombe for preparing my daughter's 18th birthday meal. The takeaway dishes were generous and absolutely delicious! Our guests all thoroughly enjoyed themselves; it was truly divine. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy good food. 04/12/2024: Very pleasant moment with a magnificent environment. The “Treetop” room was perfect and identical to the photos with the “Soft” package. However, be careful when cleaning the rooms (trash in the bathroom not emptied) and when waiting in the restaurant (3 hours for dinner). We were there to take our time but waiting 30 minutes just to take the aperitif order seemed a bit long. Breakfast, also perfect. Lots of choice, very good products and preparations made directly (pancakes, crepes). The services offered are truly perfect.
