22/08/2026: In a two and a half week cycling trip across France, this was perhaps my favourite lunch. A wonderfully unreconstructed old eatery, with friendly, rapid service and delicious homemade food. We enjoyed the excellent buffet of starters, followed by an andouillette of top quality, and a pleasant plate of cheese. Wine was included, and all at a highly reasonable price. Not a word of criticism!

07/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! A friendly brasserie with a warm welcome, homemade family-style cooking, and generous portions. The value for money is excellent. A simple and authentic place where you feel right at home. Thank you to the staff for their kindness; we will gladly return and recommend it.

04/10/2026: Thank you to Luka for his service and kindness. It was very pleasant to be served by such a helpful and caring person. Regarding the establishment itself, the prices are exorbitant: €11 for frozen yogurt because half the toppings are extra? Really? Otherwise, the food is still very good. It's a shame the prices have increased so much.

03/10/2026: A 15-minute wait for a table and to be seated. We left after another 15 minutes, without a single server bothering to take our order… Avoid at all costs…

05/10/2026: I was very pleasantly surprised by this warm and welcoming place, and the service was equally delightful. I came with a friend on Sunday, October 4th, and we had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious "Grandma's Apple Cake," with exquisite flavors and a wonderfully moist texture. For me, it was the best apple cake I've ever tasted. You can tell that the owners of this establishment are truly dedicated to delighting their customers' taste buds, putting a lot of love into their baking. 27/09/2026: A huge thank you to the young couple who took over Le Comptoir Senlisien. They put in hours of non-stop work to offer an all-you-can-eat brunch with irresistible smiles and disarming kindness. Having come from the Parisian suburbs, the gentleman will recognize me 😉. The day after my birthday, I'd never had such a delicious all-you-can-eat meal of such fresh, amazing food. I work 60 hours a week with children to manage, and some people think they're clever enough to say everything is mass-produced! It's outrageous to criticize out of jealousy or gratuitous malice when you have such a high-quality meal and a couple so attentive and always smiling. Believe what you want, but nowhere else will you find such quality and such kindness. I've tried many brunches in Paris, and I've never had an all-you-can-eat experience like the one in Senlis. Go without hesitation, but make a reservation because this place, as the kids say, is going to become iconic. Thank you for this wonderful Sunday, September 27th 😍 May luck be with you and good luck! 12/10/2026: Avoid at all costs! One of the worst restaurants I've ever eaten at. The Flammekueche was awful, too dry, with low-quality ingredients. A 0.5L carafe of wine cost €25 (a last-minute discovery because they "don't have a drinks menu").

12/10/2026: A wonderful discovery! This restaurant has a real identity; you immediately feel at home. The owner has a very warm and welcoming smile. The waiter was lovely, very attentive, and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves: the flammekueches are excellent, and I also tried their sauerkraut, which was the best I've ever had! Even the salad was perfect, with a vinaigrette I loved. I've already been at least three times and I plan to go back many more times. An authentic Alsatian spot that I wholeheartedly recommend! 😃

26/07/2026: It wasn’t a terrible experience overall, until it was time to pay. There was an issue with the Wi-Fi, because of which they claimed our payment hadn't gone through and told us we had to pay again… and you guessed it, we were charged twice. Because it didn't feel right, we checked our bank account right outside, and it already looked like the money had been deducted twice. Inside, they insisted this wasn't the case and that one of the payments would be refunded automatically. Later that evening, we checked again, and the amount had definitely been charged twice. We called the restaurant right away, but we were just given the runaround and told that we had to come back in person. However, we are traveling back to the Netherlands tomorrow, and we have no intention of driving an hour out of our way for a mistake that wasn't our fault. We indicated that we would like to sort this out digitally, but after asking for an email address three times, we were told that their email doesn't work and that coming by is the only option. This is despite us clearly explaining that we are no longer in the area and are heading back to the Netherlands. Not exactly customer-friendly for a mistake made by the restaurant itself.

25/07/2026: It took 30 minutes to get 2 beers and another 45 minutes to get 3 paninis, so a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes. When we ask the waiter after 55 minutes if they will be on their way soon he says “2 minutes” when we ask him again after 65 minutes he gets angry and says it is not his fault and that we should not blame him. The paninis were also miserable when they finally appeared. My recommendation: find somewhere else to eat and drink.

03/10/2026: For lovers of good grilled meats, this establishment is truly excellent, with two very friendly chefs. It's a shame there's a waitress. (She doesn't seem to appreciate young children.)

And what can I say... the team was fantastic, attentive, and professional 🩷, the hot dishes were delicious and generous, and the prices were very reasonable. 21/09/2026: What can I say except perfect! From the service to the food, we celebrated my mother's 60th birthday with about thirty guests. In the kitchen, everything was impeccable; the two chefs were responsive and attentive. I had chosen a single dish, but they quickly adapted to accommodate any allergies. They even asked each guest how they wanted their meat cooked. Hats off to them! The plates arrived piping hot despite the large table, and it was excellent. The meat was divine, of perfect quality! The cakes, made on-site, were absolutely divine. Bravo to you both! 👏👏 As for the service, what can I say? The two servers were smiling, attentive, and responsive while remaining discreet. This surprise 60th birthday party exceeded my expectations thanks to this fantastic team, both in the dining room and the kitchen. All my guests were impressed. Honestly, THANK YOU for everything! 22/09/2026: Very good pizza, the crust was super good but it was crispy so it was quite original. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the prices were reasonable, I recommend!

19/09/2026: Super long wait for getting menu, food. No toilet available for customers. They send you to the local parking garage. No apologies!!! Avoid this restaurants. Wait, prices and food quality leaving a lot to be desired!!!

09/09/2026: The food was excellent and the setting pleasant… it's a shame the service spoiled the experience. We had reserved a table for five and received a particularly frosty welcome, simply because we had forgotten to mention that a baby would be present in a stroller. This oversight seemed to be a real tragedy for the waitress. We have rarely been so poorly received in a restaurant. Between the remarks and the clearly annoyed attitude, we almost felt like we were bothering them. It's a real shame, because the food was excellent and the setting is lovely. But in a restaurant, a warm welcome and a smile are also part of the experience…

22/08/2026: The service needs improvement. You get the feeling you're bothering them... The coffees aren't listed inside. The drinks are okay, but the prices are extremely high.

21/08/2026: While waiting for our bus, we settled into the café. The ice cream was good, both ice cream and sorbet. It said the pastries were homemade 😍 However, it was expensive.
