25/11/2025: While passing through Orléans, we had lunch here without a reservation and received a very warm welcome. The three courses we chose were delicious, generous, and beautifully presented. The restaurant is pleasant and well-decorated. A great find!

11/01/2026: Keep walking! This isn't a place of dignified service, it's a place of disdain... Imagine our surprise when the waitress came to lecture us aggressively, not even letting us get a word in edgewise, because we had dared to move the table 30cm to position the chair so that my wife and I could sit side-by-side. The restaurant was practically empty (just one other couple nearby), and this small adjustment didn't disrupt the restaurant's operations in the slightest. The words she hurled at us were extremely inappropriate: "You moved the table without our permission, that's unacceptable! You're not at home here, you're in our house! The customer isn't always right, you're being insolent, etc..." We were stunned by this barrage of insults directed at us for moving a table a few centimeters for greater comfort, without causing any disruption since there were no other customers around. Since we were clearly not welcome, we left without finishing our beers, so taken aback were we, but we didn't forget to pay: €15 for two 33cl beers... even in Paris it's cheaper. We rarely take the time to leave a negative review, but this is unprecedented. So yes, you're in your own establishment, but that doesn't excuse you from respecting your customers, without whom your restaurant would be empty, as it is today.

24/12/2025: Excellent restaurant. The dishes are superb and generous. The service is pleasant and quick. The chef and owner are very friendly and come to introduce themselves upon arrival. 🙂 The duck breast was delicious.

12/02/2026: I'm outraged to read some of the comments about this restaurant. Have you lost your minds or what? I've been coming to this restaurant for over 18 years, the food is so good, it feels like home... there have been two changes of ownership and you'd never have noticed, because in the kitchen nothing has changed, always just as good, just as generous, and the welcome has remained so warm... since Marine and her husband took over, it's even better, there's a younger generation, with Laure always serving us with a smile, just like Marine. So for those who feel entitled to write such awful things, we don't need your opinions, just go eat somewhere else because this establishment is far too good for you... Thank you to the whole team. See you tomorrow night!!!!

02/02/2026: I came for December 31st and had a wonderful evening and a great night with my sweetheart. We're also coming back for Valentine's Day. The restaurant and hotel owners are very, very friendly and always smiling. The waiter was fantastic, and the two waitresses were gorgeous and very attentive. They really take great care of their customers. I highly recommend it. It's a quiet, very clean place with a great atmosphere. It's quickly become our favorite spot for me and my sweetheart. We can't wait for February 14th. Take care, the team from the previous day is closing, we love you! ❤️

08/02/2026: We had a very pleasant stay at Les Prodains. There were few French guests, but many English. The hotel's cuisine is generous, well-balanced, and beautifully presented, and we enjoyed our dinners as we were on half-board. The staff is friendly, and the owner is very present. The room is comfortable and quiet; however, the small shelves instead of bedside tables are very cramped. The housekeeping staff was excellent. One drawback, though: there's no elevator. For elderly people, carrying luggage and climbing stairs isn't always easy. The location is rather isolated and lacks activities; you have to take the bus (a 15-minute free shuttle ride) to get to the village and go for walks. However, the ski lifts are nearby for skiing.

24/01/2026: So, €25 to get in without a drink, a very strange, almost cult-like atmosphere, the staff is very pushy when you want to go outside for a smoke, at least two people pounce on you to make you pay for a bottle as if you were suddenly going to leave like thieves without your coats in the middle of winter in Paris… I absolutely do not recommend it. It costs an arm and a leg, and to be 100% honest, there wasn't a single moment during the evening where I found a good reason for it and thought I was having a good time.

10/01/2026: Evening of January 9th (cabaret) I had a fantastic evening with my band (in the corner on the left as you enter 😁) Thanks to all the performers for the show 👏🏾 we had a blast (thanks to us too!) and our friend was thrilled for her birthday 😉

30/11/2025: The owner enjoys talking behind people's backs (especially mine, and don't try to deny it, there's a witness). He's not the only one, by the way, but never mind. I really don't feel comfortable there and I always feel like I'm being treated like a pariah. If I were the one treating them the way they treat me, there would be an immediate outcry.

13/12/2024: Modern, original cuisine but too little on the plate and lack of vegetables/raw vegetables. We took the daily menu, not a la carte. This is our only downside.

05/12/2024: My family and I went to eat in this restaurant located in Krutenau. Very nice discovery, from the wine list to the fine dishes, everything was perfect. Freshness, friendliness, all in a warm and modern setting.

31/12/2025: A very warm welcome, and the daily special was well-prepared and homemade! I highly recommend the kidneys in port sauce! Delicious! But it's sad to see you handing the reins over to an investor, undoubtedly encouraged by the town hall, who will soon have a monopoly on restaurants in Le Touquet. Are these underhanded deals being made?

06/11/2025: Avoid at all costs! I was very disappointed. I'm used to going to brasseries, but this... The staff didn't pay any attention to me. I tried several times to get their attention, but to no avail. If you want Welsh rarebit, try somewhere else! It was very greasy, served in a tiny, very thin dish with half a slice of ham and no bread, so it was practically empty. You'd have nothing left after ten bites! I didn't dare order dessert when I saw the cake sitting out in the dining room. The owner even complained that I was leaving after only ordering one main course.

19/01/2026: This is my go-to spot when I'm in Villeneuve. However, the comparison to a school cafeteria ends there. The dishes are always sophisticated. Whether you choose the lunch menu or à la carte, you won't find anything here that you wouldn't find in another restaurant at a similar price. The last time I went, they had bottarga as a starter and truffle mashed potatoes as a main course... for €19. Unbeatable.

30/10/2024: A big thank you to all the Esquisse staff for this incredible moment. The welcome and service are impeccable. We took a 5 course menu. Everything was excellent, refined, delicious. We really enjoyed tasting the chef's surprise, it was amazing! The sketch is a very nice address, you will not be disappointed.
