03/09/2024: Friendly staff but food falls short. We looked at the menus at lunchtime and booked for the evening. Quite a few things were sold out ‘ en rupture’ for the evening which made the menu really limited. The starter of crevettes flambé was nice, but the main course of filet of duck was tough and the fries were tainted by the cooking oil. mojitos were sold out and The kir petillante was a bit flat. The wine list is limited.
If we go back it would be for lunch so we get more food choices.

06/07/2025: We made a quick stop here as we were leaving town. Although they are known for macarons, we stoped in for canelés. They were delicious! If we had known how much we would enjoy them, we would have bought more! 😁 Also, the woman who helped us was very sweet and helpful considering our language barrier.
Next time we will get both the macarons and canelés!
11/06/2025: The real ones, the only ones, the unique ones are Nadia Fermigier's macaroons. She has the real recipe. I'm from Saint-Emilion myself. I was fooled, thinking they were the same. I bought some in another shop, absolutely nothing to do with them. They keep poorly and the taste, let's talk about it, it wasn't the same at all.

24/10/2024: The sandwiches offered are different every day and they are very good.
However for the price the sandwiches with several ingredients are not very plentiful. We took our meal to eat by the beach, surprised to find that there were no napkins or cutlery. The desserts are also very good.
I think that the establishment could make an effort on the prices and on the little extras that a service would offer.

09/12/2024: Friendly, generous and delicious! We have eaten there several times and we have also recommended this place to those around us who came back very happy with it.

Lots of homemade products.
A multitude of Burgers from which you can choose 4 types of “meat”.
Around €25 per head.

20/08/2024: Just tried the crepes, I'll come back for the beers, the choice seems very interesting to me! Very good, and very filling if you stick with the pancakes. Best creperie in Dijon.
18/08/2024: The drinks menu is simply incredible! We drank a stout from the Anspach & Hobday brewery that we rarely found elsewhere in France,
The numerous beer brand stickers in the toilets (nice decor) prove that the people who come here have just as good taste as those who make the drinks menu!
The choice of pancakes and crepes is quite satisfactory (a favorite for the flamm'), I was thinking of having a dessert, but the savory pancake was so large and garnished (for barely ten euros) that I I finally changed my mind!
To end this rather very positive opinion, the servers are very friendly!

14/09/2024: Ideally located on the “Sancy 60km loop” hiking route, we stopped for one night with my cousin in May. Very well received by the hotel manager even though we arrived a little early. The hotel is well located, close to the historic center, everything can be done on foot. We slept well, as noted in other comments, the bathroom is dated but functional and that's the main thing! Breakfast was very good, perfect for a good day of hiking.

02/10/2024: Discovered this last week during our stay in Bordeaux and let me tell you that I haven’t tasted something so delicious in years! Everything was delicious, the roasted chicken, potatoes, roasted red and green peppers , the Greek salad ! My husband being British didn’t understand why it was a bit pricey but when he tasted the food, he realised - this is about quality food and knowing the artisans who are producing the food!
Nice work, great team !

20/09/2024: This is for food to take away and prepare/warm up at home. The tables/chairs in the pictures are not there anymore. There is no seating inside and they cannot heat up the food for takeaway/picnic so although the food looks delicious we couldn't stay to eat!

14/04/2025: Short break on the road one afternoon. Nice discovery, resonant price although a little expensive for lunch, no special of the day specified by the manager when I arrived. I enjoyed myself. Homemade meal formula with coffee and sweets for 22 euros.

13/07/2024: Monsieur Jacques is a real Lille institution. The service is great and the wines are good. I removed one star because we ordered a mixed board (price: 21 euros) which, in fact, arrived on a normal plate and not very well stocked with cheese and cold meats. There was a lot of salad in the middle. In short, I found it a bit outrageous to see such a small plate for 21 euros. This is for me a point to improve.

19/10/2024: Nous ne sommes sûrement pas tombé au bon moment...
Accueil pas très chaleureux (la serveuse étant seule en salle et debordée).
Fondu savoyarde assez cher (23.50 euros/pers) pour très peu de goût et charcuterie en plateau (21 euros pour 3) très peu copieuse (2 tranches de rosettes, et 1 tranche de chaque de, mortadelle, chorizo, jambon fumé) et pas du terroir ... dommage.
Les plats sont très chers (entrecôte petite et pleine de nerfs à 27 euros, saumon gravlax 18 euros pour trois morceaux qui se court après!)
Très déçu, je ne recommanderais pas.

21/09/2024: Small stop on the vacation route. Very nice discovery, the frogs are very good, the warm goat cheese salad is also good. For the main courses, the flank steak with shallot sauce is succulent and the duck leg confit is also very good.
We highly recommend! Hearty for a very good quality/price ratio
