29/09/2026: A gem in Saint-Émilion: top-notch cuisine, a shaded terrace, and outstanding service! An excellent address not to be missed! The interior dining room offers a very warm, cozy, and convivial atmosphere. And for outdoor dining, the restaurant boasts a charming little shaded terrace in a closed courtyard, ideal for enjoying a particularly pleasant, peaceful, and relaxing moment. Another truly appreciable plus: service is provided continuously from 12 pm to 6:30 pm. This is perfect for taking your time and savoring your meal without having to rush or worry about not being served after 2 pm! As for the food, the quality is consistently high from appetizer to dessert: flavorful, generous, and beautifully presented dishes. A huge thank you also goes to the warm welcome and service, which make all the difference. The waiter, full of humor, and the waitress (who is also the owner), particularly cheerful, are both extremely welcoming. They also gave excellent advice on wine selection. A wonderful experience from start to finish; we will definitely return. You can go without hesitation!

30/09/2026: The food was excellent. I enjoyed a fresh salad and a delicious salmon tartare. My only minor criticism was that the avocado in the salad was a bit too firm. The service was attentive and friendly, and the setting right by the sea was simply stunning. The prices are on the higher end for France, but overall still reasonable.

25/10/2026: Today we followed a recommendation from our hotelier. The restaurant looks a bit dated, but cozy. Don't let that put you off! The menu is short but extensive. The restaurant is known for its lobster (you have to choose your own), fish, mussels, and burgers. We opted for fish and onion soup as starters. Both are highly recommended. Freshly prepared and simply delicious. Especially when you're freezing cold. For our main courses, we chose the Le Normand (a burger with Camembert from Normandy, ham, caramelized onions, cucumber, and tomato) and the Le Chicken Croustillant (a burger with a very crispy chicken patty, caramelized onions topped with cheese and ham, along with tomatoes, cucumber, and lettuce). For dessert, we shared a crème brûlée. We couldn't possibly eat more, but we absolutely had to try it. What can I say? It was worth it. The restaurant is fully wheelchair accessible. There is a separate toilet for wheelchair users.

14/10/2026: We were disappointed. The plate was chipped, the lemon slice was brown... the fish was good, but the beef tartare was disappointing! We won't be back, what a shame!

14/10/2026: The service was rushed. We had to mention twice that we wanted to enjoy our meal. We were told they were operating like a brasserie. The friendly atmosphere is definitely gone from this establishment; what a shame.

25/08/2026: Good food, warm welcome, and excellent service. The only drawbacks, which prevented us from giving it 5 stars, were the terrace being practically on the road and the tables being very close together, and of course the prices, but that's become common in Val d'Isère!

19/08/2026: Excellent restaurant; we stopped there on our way to Limoges. The service was efficient, quick, and friendly, and the food was very good. We had a wonderful meal. The portions were quite generous, and I was a little disappointed not to have room for dessert, which looked amazing!

05/10/2026: One of our favorite neighborhood spots for every trip to Paris. Grab a table outside and indulge in the foie gras, gazpacho soup, steaks, chèvre salad, and excellent chocolate mousse sprinkled with sea salt for dessert. Paul is the best server. Enjoy!

18/10/2026: This cafe-patisserie is a must visit if you are in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Open every day from at least 10 am, it provides the most delicious chausson aux pommes in town (€2.80) and (weekends only) the most amazing chocolate Religieuse (€4.50). They also offer a lemon version (bichon au citron) which is worth a try, and their almond croissant is also excellent. If you go to the cafe, try the hot chocolate, it is thick, hot and incredibly chocolatey! The staff there are so friendly and helpful - for example, on market day (Sunday) the lady who served us offered to keep the two Religieuse we had just bought at the shop while we visited the market, we collected them later in the day. During our two weeks in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue we must have visited Jouvaud 9 or 10 days ... !
