23/05/2026: I can't comment on the food, service, or atmosphere, but I can say to avoid the Orangina can if you're thirsty; it's certainly cold, but 5 euros

18/05/2026: Received a Caesar salad made from the back of an iceberg lettuce, including the root end, for €25. It hadn't been cut that day either, as the blades were already brown. The horseradish dressing was also way too spicy. Nice place and friendly staff.

17/05/2026: I ate there two days ago. The daily special was excellent, with incredibly fresh fish, perfectly cooked, and a side dish that was exactly to my liking. The waiters and owners were very friendly. A great place to eat.

18/05/2026: After a date mix-up, and with 14 bikers in our group, Fatna didn't let us leave hungry—quite the opposite! She whipped up some couscous and pork stir-fry with homemade dessert, and we were ready to hit the road again. 30/04/2026: The owners were incredibly welcoming, the service was perfect, and the food was delicious for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this little restaurant in Lormes to anyone looking for a good meal at a very low price. A big thank you to Fatna, the owner and cook.

27/05/2026: The beach is in a beautiful location, the sun loungers are very comfortable, and they don't take reservations, so you can find a spot during the week. I also recommend the restaurant; their pizzas were especially delicious. The service staff were polite. Thanks to Nader for taking care of us.

12/05/2026: A really lovely restaurant, with a special mention for the excellent welcome we received. The place was almost full; I think it's a local institution. The food is very good, with a decent selection, and the price is reasonable for what's on offer. The cocktails were also very good! The place can be a bit noisy, but that's part of its charm; it has a very family-friendly atmosphere. It's a shame the neighborhood itself isn't very pleasant, but don't let that put you off. I highly recommend it!

04/05/2026: As a large group, we were a bit cramped. And the portions were far too large for one evening meal. It was impossible to order a starter and dessert for those with smaller appetites. A shame.

14/07/2026: The outdoor setting is very pretty and functional, and the staff are very kind and pleasant. And the food was very well prepared.

30/06/2026: Restaurant with a large, shaded terrace. The dishes are simple but of good quality. The service is friendly and quick. The price-quality ratio is reasonable.

11/05/2026: Ideal overnight stay on the way south. All rooms are newly renovated. The car parks right outside the room door.

06/05/2026: Excellent hotel, exceptional staff, lovely and above all, genuinely kind. The room was top-notch and clean. The only downside was the hairdryer; you have to hold the handle down continuously to keep it on. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

08/06/2026: The meal was absolutely delicious, the staff were very professional and friendly, I highly recommend it.

06/06/2026: The service and coffee were decent. However, in the women's restroom, there was no toilet paper or even a toilet seat! You had to sit on the porcelain floor with nothing but the wind to dry you. It felt like being in a motorway service station restroom.

25/04/2026: What a gem of a find?! Very French, delicious food, a perfect vibe and very lovely staff. In fact our waiter was phenomenal. An absolute ‘must go’ place if you are anywhere in this side of the hemisphere. Wish we had a place half as nice back in Blighty. Thank you.pup

25/04/2026: Restaurant It's very well located and the tables are spaced far enough apart, which is very comfortable. The seafood platter was very fresh but ultimately rather small. For €49, I expected better: just white bread, a small bowl of vinegar for three people, some items sold by weight, so it's hard to say if it was reasonable for the price... The young woman who served us the platter put it at the end of the table without taking the time to present it to us. However, the more experienced waitress took the time to present their wine list to us. Not disappointed, but not blown away either.

07/06/2026: Amazing place and hosts, such lovely people. After travelling through the Pyrenees for two weeks, we finally felt like we ate proper, good French food. It was trully excellent, best meal we had all trip. We hope to come back here one day and regret staying in Aulus-les-bains instead of here. If you are planning to explore the area, I would definitely recommend this hotel as your base. Or also just for a one night stop or to eat. We also saw an otter swim as we sat at our table overlooking the river. The owners can tell you all kinds of amazing things about the region and they are happy to have a chat with you which is great if you're looking for things to do

07/06/2026: We arrived unexpectedly on a Saturday evening, June 6th, 2026, at 8 pm, with 11 people. We received a wonderfully warm welcome. The meat was perfect, the cassoulet perfect, the foie gras perfect, and the presentation of the meat before cooking was exquisite. I highly recommend this restaurant.

12/05/2026: Don't know. Web site said open from 17.00 but when we walked there. Sign on the door said we are open unless we are closed. Not helpful

20/04/2026: Great atmosphere. You can tell as soon as you walk in that you're going to have a good time. You can chat without being bothered by a waiter. The customers are respectful too. No pushy types, just people sharing a drink and/or a bite to eat. Our evening with a friend ended there, because we had no idea you could actually eat there.

08/04/2026: Unfortunately, the place could be nice if the manager were friendlier and less aggressive towards women. He refused to serve a Coke paid for with a 20 euro note or with change (20 cents and 50 cents, for a total of 1.50 euros). There were eight of us, and we drank freely. This sexist waiter told our friend to leave if she wasn't going to buy anything! He came back to try and harass our female companion, who was feeling down after the death of a family member and had come to watch us play pétanque to cheer herself up, sipping a Coke she couldn't buy because she didn't have the change. Especially since there were eight of us, and we consumed as much pastis, beer, and punch as we could. Therefore, we will not be recommending your establishment, and we assure you that we will never set foot in your place again. Other establishments are more welcoming and less sexist!

07/07/2026: Those were the days! The portions are unacceptable for a fondue costing €76 for two. €26 for a tiny plate of dried meats. We even asked them to remove the excessive amount of fat from the fondue. In short, it's expensive, but if the quality and quantity were there, it would be understandable. But this is a joke... Not a word. Not an apology. Just that those are the required quantities. In short, judging by the comments, it all makes sense. Tourist trap. Nothing more.

08/04/2026: The fondue was very good, and the place was quite nice, although very noisy. The welcome was very pleasant, and the service was attentive. The price was very high, but average for Megève.
