30/04/2026: A wonderful, authentic, clean, and atmospheric restaurant with a warm welcome, polite service, and good, tasty food, all from their own kitchen and freshly prepared. The owner-chef is from the Liège region. He also speaks Dutch. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

17/03/2026: Excellent restaurant! Passing through Candé, we received a very warm welcome, quick and efficient service, and top-notch cuisine. The meat was cooked rare and delicious, just the way we like it, and the tarts were superb. Best of luck to this restaurant!

10/10/2026: A wonderful experience! We arrived as a party of five instead of four, with one person running late, and the waiter did everything he could to find a solution! He was a truly lovely waiter, and despite the restaurant being packed (I highly recommend booking in advance if you want to eat there, as it's very popular!), he was extremely pleasant, smiling, helpful, and answered all our questions! The crepes were delicious and very reasonably priced! I highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return!

14/09/2026: We stopped by chance because it was near our hotel, it was getting late, and there weren't many places left to eat dinner. What a pleasant surprise! The service was incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious and very good value for money. Without a doubt, the most outstanding feature was the service from the waiters—they were so attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!

16/05/2026: After our first lunch there as a family of four, we returned for Ascension Thursday. Each time, we opted for the €28 set menus (starter/main course/dessert), always choosing the fish dishes (and, as a treat, adding 12 delicious oysters). Besides the warm welcome and attentive service, the portions were generous and the food was superb. When an item wasn't on the menu, the alternative dish was always a hit. Kudos to the kitchen! Highly recommended.

We were greeted by very pleasant, smiling, and friendly waitresses, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the quality of the fresh, homemade dishes, which were very much appreciated. We particularly liked the option of requesting pureed dishes prepared in the kitchen, tailored to our clients' needs. This thoughtful touch is invaluable and demonstrates a genuine understanding of the specific needs of our clientele. A big thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome, kindness, attentiveness, and adaptability. These are the kinds of thoughtful touches that make a real difference and allow everyone to fully enjoy their time at the restaurant. 22/10/2026: This is our favorite restaurant when we're in Chartres (pleasant location, welcome, and service), but I must mention this: the fries need to be cooked properly (they were served completely burnt), and this isn't the first time.
