14/05/2026: Very warm welcome, the food is good and the price-quality ratio is very reasonable

01/05/2026: It was May 1st, only the owners were working, but the welcome was good, the service was quick, the meat was good, the dessert was good, and there was a large terrace. It's worth stopping by for lunch.

30/06/2026: We played at Golf de Sperone 4 times last year and twice on our holiday this year. This year we booked our first game on their website which redirects you to Golfnow eu. We booked a tee time for 7.40am and arrived at 7am so we could collect hire clubs and a buggy. The club was closed and didn’t open until 8am in June yet we booked via their website! For the second round we asked our apartment owner to telephone and book for us. She confirmed she had done this and when we arrived to play they told us we didn’t have a reservation! Last year we found the majority of staff to be very aggressive and unfriendly and hoped it would be better this year. Unfortunately it wasn’t. The lady who looks after the buggies and hire clubs is very stern and does not make you feel welcome. The bar staff are not much friendlier. Coffee is 5 euros for a tiny cup and a large shandy is 11 euros. The menu is fancy food and very expensive. The pro shop staff seem to have problems with checking in every guest and if you are happy to pay 110 euros for a polo shirt then you might be happy here! It cost us 395 euros for 2 people to play with hire clubs and a buggy. Did it feel like good value for money? No! On a positive note the course is lovely with fabulous views and is pretty challenging. The greens run slow but overall it is in good condition and a great experience to play here. It’s a pity the whole experience isn’t as nice as the course itself.

15/07/2026: A little break in the shade of the plane trees was very welcome this afternoon. The calm and zen atmosphere on the terrace by the Canal du Midi was very pleasant. ...a little more effort on the service and the price of the tapas and it will be perfect (...) Have a great season! 😉

24/06/2026: Perfect football evening, smiling and friendly waiters. Pleasant setting and EXCELLENT tapas. I highly recommend it 🥰

21/05/2026: We waited over 20 minutes sitting on the terrace without the waitress bothering to take our order, even though the terrace was practically empty. Faced with this lack of attention and service, we finally decided to go elsewhere. It's a shame, because it doesn't make us want to come back.

15/05/2026: Chaymaa our server, was welcoming and friendly from the beginning and gave great service and recommendations. Food was delicious!

22/06/2026: We paid a €20 deposit for a reservation for two people. The waiter assured us that this would be refunded after the meal, but two days later, having already returned to the UK, we still haven't received anything. Upon arrival, we asked for a larger table as the one offered seemed too small. The waiter responded rudely by asking why. In the end, we ordered so many dishes that two tables had to be pushed together to fit everything. Disappointing service and still no refund.

21/06/2026: We satisfied our hunger with a mussels in cream sauce, and frankly, we thoroughly enjoyed it. With unlimited fries, we finished them dipped in sauce because it was so well prepared. The service was very good and courteous, and the delivery was quick. I will definitely return and recommend it.

30/05/2026: Honestly the rudest front desk staff I have ever met in my life. We booked the most expensive room and they would not let us eat at the restaurant until our check-in. The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude in French and English. The restaurant was very understaffed both for dinner and breakfast. It is one of the few option to stay over night so I do hope they improve the service as the price is quite steep.

21/05/2026: Restaurant: we had to wait 20 minutes for a menu, as they didn’t have enough for all guests. After ordering, the food arrived surprisingly fast. Unfortunately it was cold, bland and dry. Pre-cooked some hours ago, and also not recently warmed up. Staff was friendly, but struggled to serve everyone on time. While the view on the Mont Saint-Michel is stunning, I would definitely not return as food and service were a letdown.

22/05/2026: Cozy neighbourhood pub on a quiet side street. Great for watching sports. Had a decent meny of pub food and a rich selection of Belgian beers.

02/03/2026: Extremely disappointed to feel ripped off when the set menu is €24 and the final bill is €90... for two people! There was no receipt to tell us what we were paying for. We were offered a cocktail without being told the price, and when we asked for something else because it was too strong for my taste (I only took a sip), we were charged for it anyway... not very customer-friendly! There's no transparency regarding prices. The food was good but the portions were small. There were no vegetarian options! We didn't feel any generosity in the welcome or the service. We were left without bread and weren't given a carafe of water... what a shame!

13/06/2026: Excellent welcome; there were nine of us ordering the set menu, but we were also expected at a ceremony. The welcome, the quick service, the friendliness, and the perfect meal were all wonderful. Thank you.

22/05/2026: I tried to contact them 15 times in 1 hour, they don't answer and even hang up without replying. Great.

26/05/2026: The rooms were filthy and dirty. They hadn't been cleaned. Only the linens had been changed, thankfully. There was a smell of wet dog in the room. The mirrors and windows were dirty, there were unidentifiable stains on the carpet, hair in the shower, and unidentifiable water stains on the walls and floor of the toilet. The toilet cistern cover and toilet brush holder were broken, and all surfaces were sticky and uncleaned. The street was quite noisy, but it was either that or suffocate from the awful smell. I almost forgot the thought that came to me when I saw that the fitted sheet was inside out… was that intentional or a mistake? (No answer expected) The atmosphere was reminiscent of The Shining. We were offered breakfast, coffee/tea, or juice as an apology, but it was absolutely unappealing given the state of the room and everything else. Even though the price wasn't exorbitant per person, it's a far cry from the concept of a hotel where you want to feel at home, or even better, but certainly not worse. Awful. The staff feigned surprise at our experience during check-out, but at this point, they need acting lessons to make us believe it even a little. We didn't see any other guests in the hotel, so a more decent room would have been welcome.

04/07/2026: Great place! Perfect for families or couples (older couple), we received a very warm welcome, the service was excellent, and the restaurant was very good. I highly recommend it.

03/07/2026: There were six of us at this pub. A friend and I went in to order drinks, and the waiter told us they were finished serving. So we left, and two seconds later, four people left the bar and were being served. We decided to go back inside to be served, and the same waiter told us again that they were finished. Two seconds later, the same thing happened: people were being served after us. I think it's really unfair to refuse us service and serve other people when we were well-dressed and sober.
